The WWE Has Lost My Interest
On August - 2 - 2009
What happened to the good days of proffesional wrestling?
The WWE isn't even a sport, it's more like a male soap opera. I used to spend hours upon hours in this fantasy world, trying to be like Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, X-Pac, and Shawn Micheals. Now, I can't even bare to watch 10 minutes of any of WWE's programming.
Maybe it's cause im older, or maybe its because the greats have left the building.
I watched as many pay-per-views as I could just to see the spectacle that Stone Cold created. Now, in my opinion, the only time I can even ...

Wrestling fans tune in to WWE Raw, Smackdown, and TNA Impact, among other wrestling shows in order to see their favorite performers go to battle each week. For two hours fans, are sucked into the drama surrounding the superstars in the ring.
The only problem is that there are some fans that don't know how to separate the action on the TV screen from their everyday lives. Without further ado, here are ten indications that wrestling may be having a negative influence on your daily life.
10. You have an alias.
Most wrestlers perform under false names, and this has inspired you to ...
International Spotlight: KENTA
On August - 2 - 2009
I'm really glad everyone is enjoying a light being shined on some stars not everyone is fortunate to know of and see. Thanks to being pretty swamped at work, I will now take a much overdue look at one of the greatest wrestlers today, current NOAH star and GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion KENTA!
Of all the people I've shined a light on and will so in the future, KENTA is one of two I have truly been blessed to see live. I lived over on the East Coast for a few years and was fortunate enough to attend a ROH show In New ...
Two Hall of Famers at WWE Smackdown’s House Show in Cohasset, Mass.
On August - 2 - 2009
Wow! I recently read an article debating whether or not house shows were worth the money, and I have to say, they most definitely are.
In a short span of two and a half hours, eight quality matches took place, making the $50 seats well worth it. One of the best parts was actually the arena itself.
The arena was actually just a tent seating about 300 or 400 people centered around the WWE ring (which for some reason security doesn't like you to touch, go figure). Our seats were about ten rows in, so we could see everything quite clearly.
Another great ...
A Night at the Indies: Featuring Kevin Thorn and Kip James
On August - 2 - 2009
There's something inherently special about a local, independent wrestling show.
Sure, the glamour of the lights, pyro and superb sound systems are missing, but the atmosphere of the show more than shines through.
Last night, I attended my second indy show, also my fourth live wrestling experience. The show was also my first sponsored by All-American Pro Wrestling, a local promotion I've had my eye on for a while.
I can't even remember the name of the promotion that sponsored the other indy show I attended about three years ago, and my other live experiences were a WWE Raw house about five years ...
“The Forgotten Legend” Jerry Lynn: The Definition of Underrated
On August - 2 - 2009
When thinking of the greatest workers of the past 20 years, a lot of names come to mind: Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, and many others. However, there is one name I think is overlooked time and time again. His name is Jerry Lynn.
Lynn got his start in wrestling in WCW as a masked cruiserweight. He was fired while injured from WCW after only two years, but better things where on the horizon for Lynn.
Lynn made a name for himself in ECW with notable feuds with Justin Credible, Lance Storm, and of course, Rob Van Dam. His ...
Cooking With Bacon: The Food Network Has Nothing On The WWE!
On August - 2 - 2009
To the right of my ever changing, streaming carousel of photos, you might have noticed the information listed in my bio.
While I will soon earn my degree in elementary education, my true passion lies in the field of the culinary arts.
Since my television is permanently fixated upon the Food Network and my mind is constantly dreaming up new and exciting food for thought, I began to jot down some key WWE ingredients and came up with a sensational new dish!
Will this be a recipe for success or a recipe for disaster? You decide…
What you’ll need:
1 Large Mixing Bowl
1 Sturdy Wire Wisk
Several ...
CvC: Victoria/Tara Is the Greatest Women’s Champion Of All Time
On August - 1 - 2009
First of all, I would like to say sorry for the delay in getting this out, but that wasn't my fault. All that matters is that I eventually got it out, albeit, a few days late!!
The woman of many names. You might know her as Victoria. Maybe as Tara? Or perhaps you just know her as Lisa Marie Varon.
It doesn't matter what you call her, because without a shadow of a doubt, she deserves another name: One of the greatest women's wrestlers of all time.
In my opinion, Tara is currently one of the most underrated performers of any wrestling promotion ...
Misfiring Machine Guns: TNA’s Most Wasted Tag Team
On August - 1 - 2009
On Thursday night's 200th episode of TNA Impact, the Motor City Machine Guns were featured in a brief segment that many may have missed.
At one point during a six-Knockout tag team match featuring ODB, Tara and Awesome Kong against Angelina Love, Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne, the cameras cut to Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin standing the crowd.
Sabin and Shelley were holding signs that said "Conspiracy Victims" and "Yes, We Still Work Here."
It's the latter that caught my attention more because after watching recent TNA shows, I had begun to wonder what had happened to my boys from Detroit.
Since I ...
