WWE Pay Per View Previews: Summerslam

Posted by DJ Rallo On August - 23 - 2009
WWE Pay Per View Previews: SummerslamWell as World Wrestling Entertainment's second greatest show of the year coming up, I have just been blown away by how badly they hyped up two of their three main events. I ultimately think that WWE should scrap The Bash and move Night of Champions to June, so there can be plenty of build up, like they do when WrestleMania approaches. Anyways, as I look at this card I see potential for something great. Sure John Cena vs Randy Orton has been done millions of times, but the two can work a main event. Also ...
I am back with another recap of a six-man tag team match on Smackdown last night. It was the Hardy Boyz and John Morrison vs C.M. Punk and the Hart Dynasty. This was quite a match. Very physical and gut wrenching. Just when you think Punk and the Hart Dynasty had it, their opponent would kick out. The same with the Hardy's and John Morrison. I, myself, wouldn't mind watching that match again. All six athlete's moves were precise and on the mark. They worked like well oiled machines. D. H. Smith whose uncle is Bret Hart, showed that he is a Hart ...

Faith Broken: WWE Divas in Hot Water With Management

Posted by Joe Burgett On August - 22 - 2009
As we all know, the WWE is not known for having wonderful female wrestling. It is more so focused on hot women going out and having mediocre matches in tight clothing and if possible, thong exposure. This is, of course, for the male audience. The WWE has been improving in terms of getting good-looking women who can actually wrestle, however it is not nearly as good as other promotions' female talent such as TNA. This really came to a head on RAW this past week in the Gail Kim/Mickie James match. If you saw the end of the match, James hit her ...

Jeff Hardy Staying with WWE After All?

Posted by Chris Mueller On August - 22 - 2009
Matt Hardy posted on his Twitter account that Jeff hardy will be with WWE after summerslam.  If this is true then i say thank god.  Hopefully we can see a Jeff/Undertaker feud now when taker returns.  Or perhaps even a Jeff/Jericho feud, which would be awesome. Tweets are not reliable sources for news so only time will tell but if Jeff has agreed to a deal then alot of WWE fans will be very happy. What are your thoughts on the possibility of Jeff staying with the WWE?

An Analysis Of The Matt Hardy Situation in The WWE

Posted by Chris Mueller On August - 22 - 2009
The situation with Matt Hardy is definitely an intriguing one within the WWE.  His career has been full of more ups and downs than anyone else I can remember in recent history.  He has had public disputes over Lita with Edge in the past that were very real, he has suffered a couple injuries that could have ended his career, and to top things off, he has apparently been dealing with a physical issue since he started wrestling.   Matt is by far one of the most popular wrestlers in the WWE.  His ability in the ring and on the mic are ...

The Return of the Greatest Wrestling Rumor Mill Ever (Humor)

Posted by Shane H. On August - 22 - 2009
It's been a while, but I'm back with another installation of the only rumors you should ever believe. Everyone should know that the fans clamor for only one rumor mill around here. Those who think my rumor mill isn't heavily sought after also believe that the Mean Street Posse was the greatest stable in wrestling history.   Ring of Honor (ROH) For those who haven't heard, ROH has moved its show to Monday nights. It was either get off of Saturday nights or get off HDnet and broadcast on PBS after Arthur re-runs.  Now that Michael Vick is back in the NFL, PETA is leading ...

International Spotlight: El Mesias

Posted by Christi Lott On August - 21 - 2009
I'm really happy everyone enjoyed the spotlight on KENTA. Today, we're heading back to where we started, Mexico, and take a look at AAA's El Mesias. I love watching AAA wrestling. Even though I have no clue what's being said, I can tell when someone's mad, excited, crazy, mean, etc. The men and women of AAA do their best to put on an entertaining show, and in that aspect they do not fail. I have enjoyed watching El Mesias from the first time I saw him. I've always known him as a heel, the major rival of one time top AAA star ...
As you fans recall on Friday Night Smackdown last week, Aug. 14, Vince McMahon set up a match with injured Champion Jeff Hardy and Hart Dynasty. It was a 2-on-1 match. Jeff was injured by C M Punk (turned heel) trying to push his ethics down Jeff's throat. Punk waited until Jeff's match was over, and when Jeff was tired and sore, Punk pounded on him, causing further injury. After the onslaught, which didn't help Jeff's condition, The Hart Dynasty proceeded to do more damage after they won the match. Punk came out and joined Hart Dynasty in the beating that they were ...

Masters Of The Mic: The Grand Wizard Of Wrestling, Superstar Billy Graham

Posted by George Peterson On August - 21 - 2009
Of the many managers in the history of professional wrestling, there is always that one wrestler or tag team who becomes synonimous with that manager. Think of the Road Warriors and Paul Ellering comes to mind. The Four Horsemen...JJ Dillon and so on. When fans, mostly older, think of Superstar Billy Graham, many times their thoughts focus on the Grand Wizard of Wrestling, Ernie Roth. Roth, whose professional career began as a disc jockey and wrestling announcer, first came to prominence in the world of pro wrestling as Abdullah Farouk, in the old Detroit territory. As manager of the legendary Sheik, Farouk adorned himself with ...
