Potential WWE Feuds: 2010 Edition
On September - 4 - 2009
Heading into the Breaking Point PPV in a week or so, I've decided on a couple of things. One: Randy Orton vs John Cena will somehow headline every PPV event from here till Armaggedon ( unfortunately it's inevitable). Two: CM Punk will beat out Chris Jericho for best Heel for 2009 (he had some pretty harsh things to say about Jeff Hardy that bordered on personal attacks). Finally, 2009 will be remembered for one match and one feud above all others; Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels. Which brings me to my point about 2009.
The diehard fan is in agony now. I'm ...
Randy Orton-John Cena: Same Scenario at Breaking Point As at Summerslam
On September - 4 - 2009
At Breaking Point Submissions, there will be a familiar match taking place: John Cena vs Randy Orton for his title belt.
There is no love lost between these two grapplers. Recently at Summerslam, they fought but Cena got screwed out of the belt again.
When they clash, for what seems like a repeat of a repeat program, it's going to be heard around the world. It will be an "I Quit" match, where the loser will tap out or verbally quit, but which of these two icons will be the first to do it?
The match that brought these two egomaniacs to face ...
Breaking News: TNA Knockout Released!
On September - 4 - 2009
In a shocking move on the part of TNA, Angelina Love was released from contract yesterday.
It is thought at the moment that it was due to problems with Angelina Love's work visa, which she was issued with when she originally signed with WWE developmental.
Her visa, which allows her to work in America, was up for renewal, but complications meant that she was unable to sort out the paperwork which allows her to work in the company.
At the moment, it is not known whether she will be allowed to rejoin TNA after she receives an up-to-date work visa, but it is ...
Nigel McGuiness Signs With The WWE And Angelina Love Released? The 411 Updates
On September - 4 - 2009
As many of you know, the 411 is the place for wrestling news. And it has not let you down this time either. Now, there is some big news you need to know. So, sit close to your computers so you can see this as well as possible.
Nigel McGuiness Signs with the WWE
The former ROH World Champion Nigel McGuiness has officially signed a WWE contract. Many thought he was good enough to leave for some time now, but it was obvious why he left.
ROH is has not been doing great financially, and don't believe what they are saying about "cost cutting" its another term for saying we are doing bad and ...
Pro Wrestling Zooming Lens: Constructing an Extreme Prediction
On September - 4 - 2009
I've written many pieces here on B/R, but I haven't had a hand in too many preview/predictions and decided to give it a shot.
I was never a big fan of them because a majority of time (99.9 percent) you'll come across ridiculous predictions that just won't happen even if you got the chance to run it by WWE officials themselves.
I've been away for a while and kept watch here and there so I'm sure I could easily pull out some nonsense tagged under "predictions," but any who know the great AkD or at least are familiar with him know what ...
WWE Breaking Point SPOILER: Randy Orton Drops the WWE Championship to John Cena
On September - 4 - 2009
About two weeks away from the WWE's brand new pay-per-view event entitled Breaking Point, the results from the main event are already in.
In the event that the title of the article has not already revealed the outcome, I would suggest not reading any further if you hope to be surprised after watching the event.
However the likelihood of that happening is bound to be quite slim. It is not as though you really needed me to tell you who was going to win the WWE Championship, but I will nevertheless.
John Cena has been without a heavyweight championship for over five months ...
“Hollywood” Hulk Hogan Going To TNA Wrestling?
On September - 3 - 2009
In a surprising turn of events, Hulk Hogan is highly interesting in going to TNA Wrestling. Most wrestling purists think this would be a bad investment for TNA however. Yet, Hogan's people still have reached out about a getting a deal done.
According to TNAWrestlingnews.com, the WWE Hall of Famer wants to go to TNA because he feels they need one big name to compete with the WWE and he needs the money.
I find it odd that he would say such a thing personally. Seeing as he is still on good terms with Vince McMahon and is not able to compete ...
What TNA Needs Above All Else: A Wellness Policy
On September - 3 - 2009
Many people have talked recently about what TNA needs. These talks have included such things as a break out star, breaking up the factions, keeping aged talent out of the main event scene, refocus on the X-Division, etc.
Even I have called TNA out on some of these issues but something that grinds my gears about TNA, and something that strangely no one has brought up, is that they have yet to establish a wellness policy.
As of right now, TNA has no wellness policy at all, not even one in basic form.
I find it difficult to believe that a promotion that is recognized as the second ...
Fraternization in the Pro Wrestling Ranks: Is a New Policy Needed?
On September - 3 - 2009
Many of us have heard the old saying before. Don’t Fish off the Company Pier. Don’t [defecate] where you sleep. Don’t dip your pen in the company ink well.
You get the point.
In certain lines of work, however, it’s almost impossible. Take Professional Wrestling, for example. Not many women these days are satisfied with playing the happy housewife while the “Man of the House” goes gallivanting off on the road for extended periods of time.
As a result of the aforementioned, many times Professional Wrestlers are left to select potential wives, girlfriends, or hook-ups (holla if ya hear me) from a pool ...
The Dead Man Rises Up to Take On Punk at Breaking Point
On September - 3 - 2009
Ladies and gentlemen, wrestling fans, at a new pay-per-view next month, the Undertaker will make his return debut when he takes on heavyweight champion and brutalizer, CM Punk.
Undertaker is going into the ring with a more aggressive Punk (since he's turned heel). I have a feeling that after Taker gets done pummeling on him, Punk is going to need some of those pain killers that he preaches against.
You can tell by the look in Punk's eyes that the Dead man intimidates him. Taker is one of if not the most dangerous man to ever step into the squared circle.
He ...
