The Animal Unleashed on Orton: Does Randy Have Anything Left?
On September - 15 - 2009
Raw was exceptionally good tonight.
Batista returned and everyone, including Orton, thought that he was going to say he was retiring. Orton made his appearance, but he looked lost, like he lost his best friend.
That's right he did, at Breaking Point against John Cena. That was one hell of a grueling match, very physical and emotionally draining. Even though Orton lost, he can and will have a rematch at Hell in a Cell.
At his match against Batista last night on Raw, Randy was not at all himself. Besides not having the title in his possession anymore, there was something missing, something ...
Drugs in Pro Wrestling: Stop the Hypocrisy
On September - 15 - 2009
Hypocrisy.
It never ceases amongst wrestling fans. Whether or not some of us refuse to admit it we are all basically hypocrites when it comes to the product which entertains us.
We expect nothing but perfection and constantly bicker over who should be getting pushes, why they should, why they haven’t, who doesn’t deserve pushes, etc.
Perhaps one of the biggest things that shows our hypocrisy is the way we react when wrestlers are caught using some form of drugs. Our reactions differ. The reaction differs from person to person and his attitudes surrounding drugs. But what many have not looked at is our ...
The Champ Is Here! Orton Says “I Quit” In Brutal Match Against Cena
On September - 14 - 2009
Wrestling fans, as I watched Breaking Point at Hooligan's here in Rochester, N.Y., I sat impatiently waiting for the match with John Cena and Randy Orton to begin. It was a submission match.
This was a brutal match that took both superstars beyond their physical limits. Neither would give up. Neither would say "I Quit."
As the match started, John Cena was in control. He was bashing Orton's head into the steel steps, announcer's table, ring posts.
Somewhere down the line, the tables changed and Orton's psychotic demeanor was on the rise. He became a monster.
Please let me rephrase that, Orton had become ...
WOW, Another Screw Job in Montreal—How Original, WWE!
On September - 14 - 2009
After watching probably one of the most weird PPVs of the year last night in WWE Breaking Point, I was left puzzled. Which I kind of like, but sometimes I just don't get why the WWE does some of the things it does.
During The Undertaker vs. CM Punk match for the World Heavyweight Title, we saw Undertaker lock in the Hell's Gate submission. Punk tapped out to the hold, and the match seemed to be over.
SmackDown GM Teddy Long came out and said that the submission 'Taker used was banned by Vickie Guerrero months ago and the match was restarted. ...
WWE’s Montreal Screwjob II: Did Wrestling Get Real Sunday Night?
On September - 14 - 2009
When the WWE heads to Montreal, you can bet that Canada, known to be one of the most peaceful countries in the world, is about to go bad for at least one night.
On Sunday night, WWE Breaking Point went down in the Great White North. Plenty of story lines got played out, but none quite as interesting or as noteworthy as the match between CM Punk and the Undertaker.
The Undertaker seemed to have won the match as he put the Hell's Gate choke on Punk, but in a shocking move, Theodore Long came out and brought to light that ...
Razor Xtreme: WWE Breaking Point Review
On September - 14 - 2009
Undertaker vs. CM PunkWell, I didn't expect Undertaker to lose, but Taker did something great people haven't (even HBK didn't do this), lose their first match back.
Although he won once, then CM Punk beat him, I say it was still fair cause Undertaker's Hell's Gate was banned, so technically, Punk won cleanly.
I think Undertaker did the right thing in putting Punk over, although I do wish he had won the title again, as I want to see him win it again before he is retired; that would be great.
Plus, I don't want Undertaker to retire with only a few titles, ...
WWE Breaking Point: The Resurrection of the Montreal Screw Job
On September - 14 - 2009
Last night, I was enjoying some pretty good football games. Then my buddy Liz sent me a message about last night's WWE Breaking Point.
I may not be 100 percent active on B/R, but I am still active in the wrestling world. After checking out the recap, there were several things that drove me crazy about what happened last night.
And I'm ready to vent them all in one swift article.

Randy Orton and Other Heels Are Being Held Down by a Face-Dominated WWE
On September - 14 - 2009
WWE fans are no strangers to concept of good vs. evil. After all, they see their very own fairy tales develop before their eyes every week as they watch Raw, Smackdown, and ECW.
Within the landscape of the WWE Universe, there exist two entities that are very different in nature.
You have the proverbial "good guys," who we refer to as babyfaces, and you have the "bad guys," who we call heels.
It's rather simple, actually.
John Cena = good.
Randy Orton = bad.
And we see these performers go toe-to-toe on a weekly basis as a matter of competition, pride, and success.
To maintain a balance ...
SPOILERS Become Reality: John Cena Defeats Randy Orton for the WWE Title
On September - 13 - 2009
As I had known well in advance, John Cena was going to defeat Randy Orton for the WWE Championship at Breaking Point.
The SPOILERS that I had made public almost a week in advance came true, which came as little surprise.
The WWE had already revealed what the result of their semi-main event match was going to be by leaving a trail that would ultimately result in John Cena's satisfaction.
There were two undeniable factors that contributed to this premature revelation, and it was those factors that prevented me from ordering tonight's pay-per-view.
Which is perhaps the lone saving grace of the night.
*It is ...
WWE Drug Policy News: Why Some “Never” Fail a Drug Test
On September - 13 - 2009
Many of us, including myself, wonder why certain individuals never fail a drug test. It seems obvious some should be on the failure list, but yet they never seem to be. We now know why one group never appears.
The WWE Divas have never failed a drug test, not because they are not on anything, but because the drug they use are not one of the WWE's banned substances.
If you'll remember, back in February of 2007 there was a drug bust at Signature Pharmacy done by Albany, NY and Florida law enforcement agencies. Authorities claimed that Signature Pharmacy illegally distributed ...
