Forget DiBiase, Morrison Is the Future of the WWE
On September - 10 - 2009
Everyone is talking Ted DiBiase this, DiBiase that. There has even been talk about the Legacy member dethroning the Undertaker at Wrestlemania, but all that hype should go to the man actually backing it up—John Morrison.
Since his start in the hit wrestling reality show Tough Enough, John Morrison has been a winner. After coming out on top over thousands of other contestants, Morrison took his newly-won WWE contract to Ohio Valley Wrestling, where he could not be overshadowed by guys like Muhammad Hussan, Spirit Squad’s Johnny and Rob Conway.
OVW pushed all three to be the flagship of the company and ...
WWE Divas Champion Mickie James Out of Action Indefinitely
On September - 10 - 2009
As many of you probably have heard by now, Mickie James was sent home from RAW's house shows toward the end of last week. This was only after competing in the previous two shows in St. Paul, Minn., and Sioux Falls, S.D.
James also missed the RAW taping in Chicago, where she was supposed to be in a tag team match. She was not at the recent RAW house show in Madison, Wisc., either, which got many people wondering.
Many thought that James did something wrong and the WWE was taking action. There was a report from the WWE saying, "Her ...
Tell the Truth and Run: WWE Smackdown Is the Only Real “Wrestling Show”
On September - 9 - 2009
It is sort of odd that I am calling WWE Smackdown the only real wrestling show. After all, professional wrestling is considered to be fake; which it is in many aspects.
When I say it is the only "real wrestling show," I mean that it is the only wrestling show that is worth watching (as of now) for its actual wrestling.
Most non-wrestling fans see Monday Night Raw and think that is what real wrestling fans want. Wrong!
If you want to see why wrestling fans really enjoy this form of entertainment, head on over to Hulu.com and catch the match John Morrison ...
If There Is a TNA Wellness Policy, It Sure As Hell Isn’t a Good One!
On September - 9 - 2009
Take a look at the pic above or to the right side of the screen. Two men in that photo are Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, two current members of the TNA roster.
Now, I have defended these two forever, it seems. I mean, they are the best tag team in TNA that has yet to see TNA's Tag Team Title. But, I have to say, this is not going to help them get a chance to hold them.
They have all the talent in the world, and they choose to go Michael Phelps and hurt their image along with TNA's by ...
The History of Pro Wrestling in the United States (Part 1)
On September - 9 - 2009
Hello, everyone. As always, I would like to thank all of you for spending some time with me today.
If you live in the U.S, you may have heard the saying “this is as American as...”. It is a common saying that has been around long before you, or me, and it will most likely be around long after we are gone.
I have heard the term as American as baseball, apple pie, and even football. The two words I have never seen thrown in there was "pro wrestling, which in a way is surprising if you think about it.
Pro wrestling as ...

On September - 9 - 2009
Two recoveries completed, but would that make a difference to the title picture? Could Jerry Lynn actually put on a good match? Would the tag teams outshine the heavyweights? Find out now!

The Briscoe Brothers vs Kenny King and Rhett Titus
The announcers hype this up as the first match for Mark Briscoe since his return from injury, before noting that they have a tough test to face in King and ...
CM Punk Gets Punk’d On Smackdown By Undertaker
On September - 9 - 2009
Well folks it has happened again. CM Punk got slammed yet again on Friday Night Smackdown.
After his grueling match with Matt Hardy, Punk just couldn't let things lie and leave the ring area. He had to hand out more punishment until....that familiar music came on and the lights went out.
When they came back on, Punk had his lights put out by the dead man. Undertaker picked up Punk and threw him through the announcer's table.
Punk's chances of retaining his belt at Breaking Point Submissions has gotten slimmer and slimmer. He's not facing some kid in the street.
We are talking about ...
B/R’s Tag Team Tournament Round 1, Part 1
On September - 8 - 2009
Through the years, pro wrestling has featured some great tag teams.
Whether they were teams from ECW, WCW, TNA, or the WWE wasn't important, because they were all special in their own way.
I had been planning on doing a Top 10 of wrestling's greatest tag teams but instead decided to create a tournament between 32 tag teams from past and present and you would decide who's the greatest.
Featured here are 32 of the greatest tag teams in history. They will compete in a tournament every week and you will decide who advances and who gets eliminated.
I tried to pick the best ...
WWE’s Aging Roster: An Evaluation of Our Older Stars
On September - 8 - 2009
Hello, everyone. As always, I would like to thank you for spending some time with me today.
I did an article on the Undertaker the other day and it got me thinking about something.
As it stands today, there are many aging stars on the professional wrestling scene.
While being older in wrestling doesn’t mean that you can't be good, it does raise the question on how much gas may be left in the tank for these superstars.
Let's be honest, folks; these guys aren’t machines; at some point their bodies will break down. Whether it’s from injuries over the years or just aging, ...
Dear WWE: Why Is Kelly Kelly Not Getting Her Shot?
On September - 8 - 2009
For about three years now, one woman has graced the WWE stage and basically took it by storm. Her name is Kelly Kelly.
We first saw her on ECW around the time it first became a brand. It was nice to see this new brand because we saw a lot of new superstars, and that included new divas.
She was first brought in as more of a valet for Mike Knox and was a dancer in Extreme Expose. She soon went on her own and did "Kelly's Expose" for a while. Then she stayed in ECW, wrestling on and off, until she ...
