Randy Orton Dominating Cena on Raw Marks the End of His WWE Title Reign
On September - 8 - 2009
The Age of Orton is now days away from coming to an end as Randy Orton's dominance over John Cena on Raw signified the beginning of the end by following a long-time WWE tradition.
It has become customary for the loser of the upcoming pay-per-view to make a statement on the final television program prior to the event.
Randy Orton did just that.
As he took John Cena down with his patented elevated-DDT, he followed it up with an RKO on the steel chair. The result of course was John Cena being left completely rehabilitated in the middle of the ring as Randy ...
Wrestling Moment of the Week: CM Punks Jeff Hardy Fans
On September - 7 - 2009
My favorite wrestling moment of the week is bestowed upon CM Punk and his hilarious antics at the beginning of the Sept. 4 WWE Smackdown. Even though I had seen the results in advance, I was still highly amused by Punk's Jeff Hardy impersonation.
The face paint and outfit were perfect, and he slightly exaggerated Hardy's movements and mannerisms to make them look silly. He took a page from Edge's book by making fun of Hardy's hand symbols.
Punk continues to draw very strong heel heat, reinvigorating himself after sputtering slightly in his second year as a face. Give credit to ...

In Search Of The Greatest Wrestler Of All Time, Part One
On September - 6 - 2009
Just like any other form of sports or entertainment, pro wrestling has seen its share of greats.
With that fact always comes the argument over who was the best in that given field.
More important than the question of who is the greatest of all time is probably determining what criteria is used to come to a conclusion.
Littered throughout the many fine articles written in the B/R wrestling community, like the 'Spotlighting the Indies' series for example where the time and dedication by each writer in that series really shines, is the inevitable list of the top wrestlers of all time lists.
Sadly, ...

Danielson, McGuinness Should Do It One More Time
On September - 5 - 2009
The impending departures of Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuinness from Ring of Honor at the end of September leave two giant voids on the company's roster.
In the past when talent has left for other promotions, Danielson and McGuinness were two workhorses relied upon by ROH to grow as performers and carry the company as the new faces.
Now the shoe is on the other foot, as Danielson and McGuinness prepare to leave the company that made them superstars on the independent wrestling circuit.
Each wrestler's rise in ROH is identified with the departure of a previous star. Though Danielson was already considered ...
Major Update on Angelina Love’s Firing: TNA in Federal Legal Issues?
On September - 5 - 2009
By now, the news of Total Nonstop Action's, TNA, release of Angelina Love should be making its rounds. Love, real name Lauren Williams, is Canadian and needs to have a work visa to be employed here in the United States. It was first reported that Love's visa expired, thus her termination.
It is now being said that the expiration of the visa is not the true story. Love, instead, has been working for TNA without an active visa for the past two years.
As reported on Force of Wrestling, Love is looking at being banned from entering the US for up to ...
Put It on The Record: The Future Is John Morrison

Last night was a night where the WWE conveyed a message to the WWE Universe.
The fans of the WWE rose out of their seats in excitement, joy, and ecstasy as a young ring warrior hit his sensational turnbuckle move, "The Starship Pain."
The fans of the WWE cheered as Rey Mysterio was pinned by this said warrior for the three count, and had to relinquish his Intercontinental title.
The fans of the WWE saw the future of their beloved company standing in the middle of the ring, his arm raised by the referee, his face showing many emotions, awe and gratitude amongst them.

Stupid Move, WWE: Morrison Wins IC Gold and Ziggler Has To Wait Once Again
On September - 5 - 2009
While I was watching what is sure to be one of the best matches of the year, on SmackDown with John Morrison and Rey Mysterio last night, I thought to myself, why is Morrison getting his shot at the Intercontinental Title when Dolph Ziggler deserves it?
In fact, Ziggler has been in the hunt for the IC Title for some time. So why in God's name do you give Morrison the title shot and the win while Ziggler has to wait until Breaking Point?
Some believe that because Morrison is a face, he had to take the place of the suspended Rey ...
Behind the Music: Breaking Down the WWE Theme Song Lyrics (Humor)
On September - 4 - 2009
The entrance themes of wrestlers are there to get the crowd pumped for the impending appearance of their favorite wrestlers. But are the lyrics in these songs true to life? Do the superstars keep it real? Well, I took the time to break down a line or two from some of your favorite themes and how they relate to the stars who use them.
I will provide the line in italicized font first, and then I will give the honest thoughts of the wrestler who holds the song. With that, let's begin.

"It would take an army to stop ...
