The WWE Looks At Webster’s Dictionary: Its Picture Is Next to Stupidity
On October - 5 - 2009
Last night we saw the WWE's newest gimmick PPV, known simply as Hell in a Cell. While I am not so much happy with the name, that was never my concern. My main concern was the stupidity of having a gimmick PPV to begin with.
Seriously people, do we really need three Hell in a Cell matches in one night? I don't think so. And what makes it even less appealing is that blood was not involved at all. And as I mentioned in a previous article, the WWE didn't want to do as much with the cage as they did ...
WWE Hell In a Cell 2009 Prediction Competition Results
On October - 5 - 2009
Hell in a Cell has been and gone, and boy! Did it ever bring some surprises?
Not many people expected The Undertaker and Randy Orton to walk out with gold firmly strapped around their waists; neither did they expect Kofi Kingston and John Morrison to retain the titles in their bouts.
However though, out of the 48 intrepid Bleacher Creatures who decided to put their pride (and guessing skills) on the line in an attempt to be dubbed the most accurate soothsayer, we got both extremes!
In a contest that not only got the second ever perfect score (17 out of 17 due ...

WWE’s Ascension Culminates with the Birth of a Great New Champion: Randy Orton
On October - 5 - 2009
On Sunday, Oct. 4 2009, history was made. For on this very night, we witnessed the rebirth of a living legend. And while the night also saw the Undertaker rise to the top of the WWE's secondary brand, his victory will undoubtedly take a back seat to the events that unraveled later in the evening. The match was one of familiar flavor, albeit, dressed with steel and coated in destiny. Why destiny, you might ask. Because on some nights, not even the unspoken guidelines of WWE tradition could prevent destiny from reaching its end. For in Hell in a Cell, it was John Cena's match to ...

B/R Tag Team Tournament Results
On October - 4 - 2009
After five articles, the final result for the tag team tournament has been revealed. Among 16 teams, only one has made it to the top and will win it all.
Some of you will not agree, some of you will, but the votes speak and this team received the most votes in each match they were involved in.
Before revealing the result, I would like to thank everybody for making this work out. Without your votes, this tournament would have been a big pile of nothing, so thanks to everybody.
The Hardy Boyz fought well, but Edge and Christian earned 15 votes, while Matt and Jeff ...
Just A Thought: Maybe The WWE Should Reduce Its Number of Pay-Per-Views
On October - 4 - 2009
Fourteen.
That would be the number of pay-per-view events the WWE has scheduled this year.
I am going to propose a radical idea, so crazy in fact that if I worked for the WWE I would be laughed at, or maybe even fired for making such a suggestion; the WWE should scale back its number of pay per views.
I write this knowing full well that there will be no chance in hell that Vince McMahon would ever cut back on anything that is making him money, and as a business man it is right to pursue the almighty dollar.
However, speaking strictly from ...
The Dossier: Greatness Achieved, Bad Blood Spawns Hell On Earth
On October - 4 - 2009
Since the beginning of time, there have been many epic battles contested in arenas, stadiums, steel cages and even in boiler rooms. But what the world would witness on the night of Oct. 5, 1997 in St. Louis would forever change the perception of fans around the world; the perception that the squared circle is the penultimate fighting ground for wrestlers around the world. It’s been noted that steel cage matches have always captured the essence of the Roman Coliseum of the wrestling world where man would do battle with another until only one could no longer survive the punishment inflicted on one’s ...
Ranking the Top 50 Tag Teams: The PWI Years (34-20)
On October - 4 - 2009
Here's the second installment in listing the top tag teams since Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI) was established (1979).
The list was compiled and ranked by PWI in 2003 and included many tag teams who fought in Japan.
I have decided to omit those teams as it would be difficult to provide any opinions.
Before continuing the list, I wanted to name four teams who I felt should have been included in this list. Not only to make the list, but in my opinion most should have been in the top 25.
The teams are The Wild Samoans, The Dream Team (Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake), ...
