Team Smackdown vs. Team Raw: Terrible Booking or Genius in Disguise?
On October - 18 - 2009
Many have looked at the concept of WWE's latest Pay-per-view, Bragging Rights and called it stupid. The idea of a pay-per-view almost solely dedicated to the rivalry between Smackdown and Raw does seem overplayed and rather dull.
However, the match on this card that seems to have gotten the most criticism is the 7-on-7 match between Team Smackdown and Team Raw.
I will admit when I first heard the idea I was amongst the many criticized it believing the idea to be rather stale. We already had Survivor Series, why have another pay-per-view even remotely similar?
Then the qualifying matches for Team Smackdown ...
John Morrison: The Shawn Michaels Comparisons Need to Stop
On October - 18 - 2009
John Morrison’s stock is steadily rising in the WWE, and with that rise there have been countless comparisons here on Bleacher Report as well as on WWE programming that Morrison is the next Shawn Michaels.
Morrison’s future is indeed bright, and he may very well be the future of the WWE, but he is not, I repeat not, Shawn Michaels.
This is no fault of Morrison’s, in fact this is a testament to his work ethic and talent to even be mentioned in the same breath as the Heartbreak Kid, but by doing this we may be setting ourselves up for disappointment.
HBK’s ...
Chris Dodd’s Stupidity Regarding Linda McMahon Shows He Needs to Go
On October - 17 - 2009
Recently, Connecticut Democratic Sen. Chris Dodd came out of his hole that he has been hiding in for the past term, and decided to comment on Linda McMahon, or have one of his "supporters" do the dirty work for him.
The comments were said by Connecticut Democratic Spokeswoman Colleen Flanagan, but can we really say Dodd had nothing to do with it? I know I can't.
The fact is that Dodd wouldn't want to say anything to cost him the election, so, he got Flanagan to do it for him.
Here is what Flanagan, or Dodd had to say regarding McMahon:
"As WWE Chief ...

With Bragging Rights Approaching, Is Survivor Series Necessary?
On October - 16 - 2009
What is WWE thinking? Since 1987, the Survivor Series has become synonymous with Thanksgiving and the five-on-five main events. It is really puzzling why WWE would have a PPV called Bragging Rights a month before Survivor Series basically with the same synopsis. How is Bragging Rights, a new concept?
It makes no sense whatsoever to have a seven-on-seven matchup between RAW and Smackdown then turn around and have another one in November.
I'm not sure who's the "BRAINS" behind the new Pay Per Views that the WWE seem to be spinning out this year but they are lackluster to say the ...
There Goes the Money: Analysing the Departure of Shane McMahon
On October - 16 - 2009
As many of us have seen by now, according to WWE.com, Shane McMahon has turned in his walking papers and will be gone from the WWE effective Jan. 1, 2010. This is a big blow to the management department in the WWE, as Shane is responsible for a lot.
While he was a part-time professional wrestler, he was also the executive vice president of WWE Global Media, which meant he oversaw television distribution, live event bookings, digital media, consumer products, and publishing.
In fact, he is one of the people solely responsible for getting RAW and SmackDown to be seen in ...

On October - 16 - 2009
For those unaware of this Creature vs. Creature, the topic in on "the worst wrestler in the WWE toady," organised by Svyato Rovenchuk.
My entry, as is apparent from the title, is on The Great Khali. If you still want to get involved with the CvC, just ask Svyato, and he'll let you know which wrestlers are already taken.
Anyway, on to my article...
A packed courtroom is in attendance to witness the trial of The Great Khali, charged with being the worst wrestler currently in the WWE. Many of his World Wrestling Entertainment colleagues are in attendance, and most seem noticeably ...
John Cena Losing at Bragging Rights? You’re Kidding Right?
On October - 15 - 2009
For the past few weeks we have seen a few articles up about how John Cena would do if he lost at Bragging Rights. One was about him going to ECW, the other was about him going to SmackDown.
And while I'd love to see him getting drafted to SmackDown in next year's WWE Draft, that would be the only way he'd go to the show.
There is a zero percent chance John Cena goes to SmackDown after Bragging Rights, and a zero percent chance he would go to ECW. The reason is simply because he will win at Bragging Rights.
I actually ...
Tag Team Matchup Ends Up a 3-on-2 Handicapper on Raw
On October - 15 - 2009
RAW was superb this week. It was off the hook, phat, downright exciting, lots of twists and turns. It was so good that Chris Jericho was speechless, and you know that's hard to do. Anyone or anything that makes him speechless is a feat in itself.
One of RAW's hosts this week, Nancy O'Dell from Access Hollywood, kicked ass as far as making unforgettable matches.
She originally made a triple threat elimination match with Cody Rhodes vs. Ted DiBiase vs. John Cena and the winner will go to Bragging Rights roster, RAW vs Smackdown. This will be a huge tag team match.
Well, ...
