CvC: Vince McMahon Is THE Face of the WWE
On December - 13 - 2009
Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and the Undertaker are just some of the legendary names to have made a huge impact on the WWE. Each of these men have been “the man” at one point or another during their run with the company.
However, when it comes to discussing who THE face of the WWE, that discussion begins and ends with Vincent Kennedy McMahon.
McMahon is in the unique position of having to represent the WWE on two fronts; both as an on-screen character, but also as a real life business man.
We all must remember one important thing, that ...

On December - 13 - 2009
Welcome to back to Countdown To WWE TLC, but this time it's the TLC Edition and here are the matches.
Before I get to the TLC matches, I wanna send thanks to Switchfoot. Their theme song "Bullet Soul" is the theme song for WWE TLC. It's off the album Hello, Hurricane and it's In Stores Now.
ECW CHAMPIONSHIP: LADDER MATCH
Christian © vs Shelton Benjamin
The ECW Championship Match hasn’t been on a Pay-Per-View card since Breaking Point when Christian defeated William Regal to retain the belt. That changed two days after Survivor Series.
Right after Shelton Benjamin was victorious over the ...
Where Have All of Pro Wrestling’s Big Men Gone?
On December - 13 - 2009
This is something that has bugged me for a while now.
The professional wrestling landscape has fallen a bit into a trap. It's pumping out very similar-looking wrestlers. Of course most have some sort of gimmick to set them apart, but let's look at who we're seeing on TV right now.
Look at your top guys on the WWE, TNA and ROH rosters. With the WWE you have John Cena, HHH, Shawn Michaels, and Batista.
TNA has Kurt Angle, Desmond Wolfe, AJ Styles, and Daniels.
ROH has Austin Aries, Tyler Black, Kenny Omega, and Roderick Strong.
Every single one of those guys is different but ...
CvC: John Cena Is the Greatest Face of The WWE
On December - 13 - 2009
There's this guy in the WWE. You may have heard about him.
His name's John Cena. He's the current WWE Champion, and face of professional wrestling. For the past few years, and the foreseeable future, John Cena has been, and will be The Man.
Since 2003, Cena has taken the wrestling world by storm. In his debut match on Smackdown, he had a solid outing against the Olympic gold medalist, Kurt Angle. Not too long after, his gimmick became that of a wannabe-rapper, and his career took off.
Despite being a heel, he was wildly popular. He was put into programs with Smackdown's ...
700 Club: Special Joe’s 411: B/R Pro-Wrestling News
On December - 13 - 2009
Well ladies and gentlemen of B/R, I have finally made it to the 700 club here on B/R. I went through some ideas about what my 700 article would be about, but I couldn't think of anything for a while.
Then it hit me, I loved doing Joe's 411 for a long time here on B/R, so that is what my 700th article would be about.
This is a special version of the series, so this is not going to continue for a long time like before. But enough about the opening, time to get started, here is the 411.
Brett DiBiase News ...
Five Things the WWE Can Do To Save Chavo Guerrero
On December - 13 - 2009
For a long time, I was not Chavo's biggest fan, to say the least. But after the last couple of years, I have grown more interested in the Mexican Warrior.
Chavo is from a heavy wrestling background, everybody knows that. But the WWE treats him like a sideshow act. I know he is getting TV time and a lot of people would kill to be in his position, but he is better than that.
The first time I really became a Chavo fan was when he was embroiled in a feud with Rey Mysterio. He came out dressed as Mysterio and even ...

Before I get to this preview of WWE TLC. Sorry for not giving you guys a preview of Survivor Series, I’ve been away for awhile.
You guys must be wondering if I’m still around but I’m back and here to give you the final preview of this WWE PPV of 2009. Also I wanna send my condolences out to the family and friends of Eddie Fatu formerly known as “Umaga.” He will truly be missed.

Top 50 Wrestlers Ranked by Pro Wrestling Illustrated: Nos. 25-16
On December - 12 - 2009
We are half way through identifying Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Top 50 wrestlers. For those interested, here is the first and second parts of this series.
As a reminder, the list was compiled in 2003 and features wrestlers during the years that the publication was started (mid-70s).
I will provide some insight to the wrestlers listed and summarize the achievements.
Now onto the list...
25 - Sgt. Slaughter
Not a big fan of this wrestler and don't feel he deserves to be rank in the top 50, nevermind sitting in the 25th spot.
Slaughter began his WWF experience as heel, feuding with Bob Backlund and Pat Patterson. But once ...

On December - 12 - 2009
The snow is falling, the chestnuts are roasting, and everyone is looking forward to having a little TLC over Christmas. However, this is TLC, WWE style!
The first ever TLC PPV is this weekend, and this is the last chance for the WWE stars to make an impact heading into the new year.
With the first ever meeting of John Cena and Sheamus, as well as the long awaited match-up between Christian and Shelton Benjamin, there are unlimited possibilities on the horizon!
However, does having all these possibilities mean that this will be the PPV to trip up all you brave soothsayers out ...
Kofi Kingston Doesn’t Deserve To Defeat Randy Orton at TLC
On December - 12 - 2009
…no he doesn't.
Kofi Kingston, the exciting, entertaining, and thrilling blue-chipper who has been pushed beyond his limit is now on the verge of obtaining a victory for which he doesn’t deserve.
Why shouldn’t Kofi Kingston be able to pick up a victory over Randy Orton at TLC ?
Simply put, he doesn't deserve it.
I see no need to belabor the obvious so I felt as though I should just come out and say it.
I don't like Kofi Kingston, not one bit.
Not because he isn't an amazing performer, his is.
Not because he isn't a nice guy as I've met him, and he is.
But because ...
