As many of you know by now, the wrestling world lost Umaga (Eddie Fatu) yesterday, Dec. 4, 2009. It was quite a shame, too, as Fatu was probably the best wrestler ever at his size. Over 300 lbs, he could fly around the ring like a guy half his size. He was amazing to watch, in my opinion, and will be missed. This time, it was Eddie Fatu, better known to most as former WWE superstar Umaga. It has been reported that Fatu suffered a massive heart attack, which led to his death. It's a real shame. The WWE has released the following statement on the death of Eddie Fatu (Umaga), who passed away earlier today at the age of 36: “WWE would like to express its deepest condolences to Mr. Fatu’s family, friends and fans on his tragic passing. Mr. Fatu was under contract with WWE at various time periods and most recently performed under the name ‘Umaga.’ Mr. Fatu’s contract was terminated on June 11, 2009.” Fatu suffered a second heart attack after being hospitalized when he was found unconscious while bleeding from his nose and his mouth.
