Money in the Bank: A Spectacle to Behold

Posted by J. Capozzi On February - 25 - 2010
I would like to start zeroing in on Money in the Bank, 2010 and cast it as the match I'm already looking forward to the most because of the participants who have already qualified for the match: Christian, Dolph Ziggler, Kane, and Shelton Benjamin. One of these men have been in all but one of the Money in the Bank match, and another has a fair amount of experience as well. Both men know how to make it a real spectacle. Both of the men who have been involved have special purposes in the match, which is why they have been ...

Wrestlemania 26: Why the Main Events Are Way Too Predictable

Posted by Dido On February - 25 - 2010
What we have on our hands is an unbelievable pay-per-view with three fantastic main events that will most likely persuade us to dig $55 out of our wallets to view. It's been months and months of build up and we're finally going to see the result as they go head to head. We have a WWE Championship Match between Batista (c) vs John Cena. A World Heavyweight Championship Match between Chris Jericho (c) vs Edge. Finally we have a Streak vs. Career match consisting of Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels. Worthy main event matches for the biggest pay-per-view of the year, no? My only gripe with ...

Posted by Jaden Smallings On February - 25 - 2010
After reading several articles on superstars who deserve better in WWE, I decided to make one myself. The superstars your about to see have always impressed me but due to some reason they're not on top like John Cena or Triple H. Anyways, enjoy the article and leave a comment on whether the superstars on my list were deserving or not and who you think should be on the list. Now before you begin reading here are a few honorable mentions: Goldust William Regal Dolph Ziggler Begin Slideshow

Randy Orton Gets The Drop On Legacy: Is This Their End?

Posted by lee raydean On February - 25 - 2010
It finally has happened. Randy Orton has turned on Legacy, even though Legacy was planning on doing just that. Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase have been fighting with Orton for a while now. They did need to separate themselves from him because of big egos and power trips interfering in matches many times. They became little Ortons through and through, and the three of them became one strong, evil unit. They became unbeatable. A well-oiled machine. They became as one. Randy took them to the top. Even though they both came from families of wrestlers, the duo needed guidance, someone to teach ...

Bubba the Love Sponge Accused of Racial Tirade Against Awesome Kong

Posted by Scott Manyard On February - 25 - 2010
Apparently, Bubba the Love Sponge took his personal feud with Kia Stevens, a.k.a Awesome Kong, to a whole different level. According to TMZ.com, someone claiming to be Bubba the Love Sponge, or BTLS for short, called Stevens' home phone and unleashed a racial tirade on her. The call was made from a private number, but Stevens is certain that it really was BTLS behind the verbal attack. Stevens has filed documents in a Florida court to try and check Bubba's call history to see if it was him who was actually calling. According to the documents, the caller said, "You'll be dead like all of ...

Is WWE Doing WrestleMania Right?

Posted by Joe Kirshenbaum On February - 25 - 2010
As the final pay per view prior to WrestleMania, the February pay per view, be it Elimination Chamber, No Way Out, or Even St. Valentine's Day Massacre, it is one that must be approached much differently than any other.  Like any other pay per view, they must try to make it an appealing one to buy and put together a quality show (something they fail a lot nowadays, but still their objective), but for this one, it's the No. 2 priority.  For this one, it's primary focus is one thing: to try to set everything up for WrestleMania. At times, they have failed.  ...

Don’t Try This at Home: Does WWE Make Kids More Violent?

Posted by Jaden Smallings On February - 24 - 2010
Due to the success of my previous article , I decided to write another article on kids and WWE. When I first started watching WWE, about six years ago I was 14, and my younger brother who frequently watched WWE with me, was 10. Sorry, I would like to mention my brother's name, but I can't due to confidential reasons. Since my brother and I constantly watched WWE for a long period of time, we did what most brothers do, play fight. When we used to play fight, we would literally punch and kick each other and the only way to win was ...
We've salivated for months about it. We begged the WWE to make this match happen. We discussed the possible ways the WWE could make this match. Finally we got our answer, and our dream match will happen. "The Rated R Superstar" Edge vs "The Best In The World" Chris Jericho. Yeah that's right, it's going to happen. For once the WWE listened to the fans and is giving us what we want. These two former Tag champs are going into this with huge burden on their shoulders. They are considered among the very best the WWE has to offer. Which leaves us with ...

Pro Wrestling Forums: Dick Normandy Was The Heel

Posted by Jeff Sac On February - 24 - 2010
For less than a week, Dick Normandy came to the Pro Wrestling forum and caused a firestorm. His accomplishments in that week were almost 3,000 reads and hundreds of responses, and he climbed to the 19th slot on the top writers list. He did this in one week. He was also unceremoniously ousted within that week, after challenging whether or not professional wrestling belonged on a site dedicated to real sports. Now, I do not want to come and insult people. I know most of you understand that wrestling is not real, and the other 74 percent of you that believe in it are ...

Five Failed WWF Gimmicks that Could Have Worked

Posted by Steven Ransiear On February - 24 - 2010
With hindsight being 20/20 you can look back and see things in wrestling that should have worked. Whether it was the right gimmick but wrong guy or vice-versa. The WWF during the 1990's was literally a wasteland of failed gimmicks. This was a period where they tried pretty much anything and everything. From wrestling monks to plumbers to a repo man. Most of these failed, but some could have been great. Sadly even into the 2000's the WWE had even more opportunities to make it big with perhaps less than obvious gimmicks. Here's a look at five of them from ...
