Make no mistake about it; Mr. Anderson takes pride in being a loudmouth. He is loud, brash, cocky, and he is awfully proud of the fact that he is generally viewed as an "a-hole" by everyone in the TNA locker room. Since his debut at the "Genesis" pay-per view, Anderson has been one of the top heels in the company but has had a seemingly hard time establishing himself with die-hard TNA fans. They simply remember him as Mr. Kennedy from the WWE and know that his connections with Hulk Hogan went a long way in landing him the job in Orlando. Things appear ...

Posted by Jay Brennan On May - 28 - 2010
Prior to the show’s opening credits there was a video package promoting The Undertaker’s return to Smackdown.     Opening Segment:   The show kicked off with Theodore Long announcing that Jack Swagger would defend his World Heavyweight Championship in a four-way match at “Fatal Four Way” pay-per-view.   Long advised the crowd that Big Show has already qualified due the results of “Over the Limit” last Sunday.   Long announced that CM Punk would take on Kane and Rey Mysterio would fight The Undertaker in qualifying matches.   Drew McIntyre interrupted and entered the ring. McIntyre told Long he was wrong for allowing the match to continue at “Over the ...

Ending a Franchise: The Ultimate Heel Turn of John Cena

Posted by Cec Van Galini On May - 28 - 2010
It is basic economic theory that if something makes money, it should be encouraged to grow. In the cartoon world of wrestling, someone that makes money becomes a champion. If the wrestler makes more money than anyone else, they become the franchise. Wrestling in the modern era is defined by these franchises from Hulk Hogan to John Cena, each champion brings something new to the wrestling world. Hulk Hogan was the embodiment of the American Hero, Stone Cold Steve Austin was the anti-hero, the Rock was the People's Champion, and John Cena has seemingly morphed all three characteristics into one to produce, The Cenation. The franchise can ...

WWE Feuds That Bleacher Report Expert Writers Would Like to See

Posted by Travis Smith On May - 28 - 2010
The WWE is the juggernaut of pro wrestling. Fans tune in to see the weekly thrill ride every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday because of its unpredictable matches and its entertaining segments. Fans always dream about what feuds they would like to see, so I thought about doing a slide show of some dream feuds and asked for some other writers to pitch in. A link of their Bleacher Report profile is at the bottom of each slide so readers can go check out their other articles too. I am hoping to start doing a weekly BR segment with wrestling writers ...

Former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis Trashes Melina and Michelle McCool

Posted by Herman Almendarez On May - 28 - 2010
In a recent article for women's wrestling, Maria Kanellis' interview with HighSpots is posted.  And she had less nice things to say about former co-workers Michelle McCool and Melina. First, Maria talks about Former Divas and Women's Champion Melina. Maria states that Melina was the "Whore" of the WWE. Maria speaks out on how Melina would hold meetings with all the divas and talk about who can date who.  Maria says that Melina is not a great worker, and that she does not know why WWE still keeps her around. Maria says Melina always tried to be better than Mickie James. In the ...

Posted by Sumz On May - 28 - 2010
Ok this article is a rundown on Kane’s character, the pros and cons of his somewhat turbulent career and how the once feared monster of the lands has now become the timid giant. When we look back at Kane’s career what do we see, is it a man with unlimited potential or is it a man whose fate was decided long before the character was initially sculptured. Kane career has become so confusing that the WWE universe does not no whether he is a heel or a face, whether to boo him or cheer him, so lets look at the slideshow ...

WWE Enters the Third Dimension!

Posted by Lewis W On May - 28 - 2010
Hey Bleacherholics! I have explored the Internet and found some truly exceptional news! The good news is the WWE is planning a 3D show for one night only! The bad news is that it won't happen until next year. More good news is that the WWE is thinking of making a Smackdown 3D, which pretty much guarantees wrestling, not skits, on RAW. As much as this news delights everyone, I regretfully report that no more information on the subject can be found. I will keep you updated as more information is released, but this is potentially great news and ought to boost their ratings no matter ...

Conspiracy Theories: Is Sting WWE Bound?

Posted by Big Nasty On May - 27 - 2010
TNA has been expected to make wholesale changes to its roster for quite some time now.  After suffering through a hurricane of spending that involved advertising on Monday nights, along with some significant free agent acquisitions, TNA now finds itself in need of some serious economic adjustments.  15-20 roster cuts are expected to be made sometime in the near future, but Dixie Carter and TNA management have taken their own sweet time in pulling the trigger on cutting the TNA roster down to size. Among the many cuts that will have to be made, it's no secret that the bigger, guaranteed contracts will ...

Posted by vikky vikram On May - 27 - 2010
In World of Wrestling there is not much worse than getting pinned by an opponent than actually saying the words "I Quit." Same as other times this list comprises of my own opinions, so please give your suggestions, hates and likes. I’ll be waiting to hear all your comments. Begin ...
