IMPORTANT INFO! Hot Rod wants YOU to vote for your favorite WWE/TNA wrestlers and help them get some recognition. I have thought of a new creative idea for an article here on Bleacher Report. How about instead of writing a article that has just my opinions on it, I create an article that has all our opinions on it. That's right, as a whole community we are going to give some recognition to who we think is the best wrestler/announcer in the categories that I have selected in this "award show." The categories range all the way from "Best Tag Team in Wrestling" to ...

Tuesdays At TNA: Is Fourtune the Answer?

Posted by John Reid On June - 29 - 2010
Welcome back to Tuesdays at TNA, in which we discuss all of the hottest topics happening in Dixieland! A few months ago I wrote an article discussing the possibility of re-creating the Four Horsemen in TNA, with 16-time World Champion Ric Flair as the mouthpiece of the group.  Many of you discussed some of the possible participants in the stable and how they could benefit, from former TNA champion AJ Styles to Desmond Wolfe and Beer Money. Now it looks as if it is coming to fruition, but under the name Fourtune (or Fortune, I'm not quite sure how they're spelling it ...

The Focus on TNA Talents

Posted by Daniel Peragine On June - 29 - 2010
Since the Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff takeover of TNA Wrestling, we have seen some of wrestling's biggest names sign with the company, new story lines, record ratings, and change. On the downside we have also seen the slowing of the X-Division, questionable booking of talent, a struggling Monday night product, and other issues. Over the past few months, I believe there have been a few holes TNA needs to fix before the problems expand. Here are three random topics TNA needs to look at.  TNA’s X-DIVISION STRUGGLE I feel that TNA was growing in popularity ...

Why Miz Should Win MITB and Get a Main Event Push This Fall

Posted by Travis Smith On June - 29 - 2010
The Miz has been in the WWE since 2006 and yet he hasn't been pushed as a main event star in his career. Wrestling fans around the world either praise this young man's work inside the squared circle or they blog about how much they dislike his gimmick and his in ring ability. Miz right now though is the United States champion on RAW and is in the money in the bank ladder match at the next pay per view. With Miz being in the ladder match, some fans believe that maybe it is time for him to get his main event ...

Money In The Bank PPV: Determining Raw’s Direction

Posted by Ian Malone On June - 29 - 2010
We're in the middle of a youth movement right now on Raw. Sheamus has twice the number of world titles as he does years of service. Evan Bourne is getting the better of Y2J on pay-per-view. Randy Orton has gone from punting Vince McMahon in the head to being insulted by The Miz. And then there's the Nexus, who come with less qualifications combined between the seven of them than the three I just mentioned.  Yet all of this feels so good.  Jesse Ventura summed it up perfectly when he guest hosted Raw a few months ago. We're tired of the same main ...

The WWE’s Greatest Breakout Stars 2000-2010

Posted by Sumz On June - 29 - 2010
Although the years 2000 to 2010 belong to superstars like The Rock, HHH, Undertaker, Austin, Benoit, Jericho, Eddie etc, it will also be remembered as a time when the following stars broke out and became icons. Please note that I am not referring to these superstars’ debuts, but merely using each year as a vocal point into these stars careers. WWE: June 28th Monday Night Raw Review

Posted by Chris O Connall On June - 29 - 2010
John Cena/Sheamus Promo Great mic work from Sheamus, again. After seeing the serious John Cena last week, we were forced to endure the happy-go-lucky Cena, complete with his juvenile antics. I have to say that I really like the way Cole stands on that podium for all the messages from the new general manager. He looks so strange and out of place. It fits his character perfectly! My prediction was proven right here as the steel cage will return at Money in the Bank. 3.5/5   The Hart Dynasty vs. ? Before this supposed ''match'' got under way, we witnessed yet another sneak attack from the ...

Wade Barrett and Drew McIntyre: Work Visa Issue, Jobs in Jeopardy?

Posted by Joe Burgett On June - 29 - 2010
If you saw SmackDown last week, you saw that the WWE played an angle with Drew McIntyre regarding his work visa. What should be realized here is that it's not just an angle, his visa legitimately expired! And developing news now is that Wade Barrett's visa also expired. For those that don't know, a work visa is given to people to live and work in another country legally. Without a visa, they cannot work in that country. If they don't have one, or if it expires, they are now seen as illegal aliens unless they gain citizenship in that country. Without a ...

WWE Raw: Money in the Bank…Who Is Going To Win?

Posted by Paul Austin On June - 29 - 2010
Last night Rob Zombie revealed the eight Raw superstars who are scheduled to compete in a Money in the Bank match, at the PPV of the same name. So I'm sure that today a million WWE watchers are trying to figure out who is going to win, and I thought if it was good enough for them why shouldn't I have a go? The eight Superstars announced by Zombie are Randy Orton, John Morrison, R-Truth, Evan Bourne, United States Champion The Miz, Ted DiBiase, Chris Jericho, and Edge. But there can only be one winner. Now there are several ways to make ...
