Posted by Matthew Hester On August - 29 - 2010
(Satire) I would like to welcome you all to the very first of edition WWN (Wrestling World News), wrestling’s only reliable tabloid news and rumors. It is here you will only get to read the real stories that others are afraid to cover. For safety reasons, I unable to reveal the sources of the stories you are about to read.   (A steamed HHH storms away from Vinces princess) HHH divorces the McMahons and WWE According to an undisclosed source, HHH is in the process of divorcing the WWE. From what I was told, HHH has been unhappy with not holding the title ...

John Cena And The Icons He Is Compared To

Posted by Jacob Waring On August - 29 - 2010
John Cena is loved by his fans to the point of total worship. He is also hated by many who would probably get an John Cena Voodoo doll to torture him.Love him or hate him, everyone seems to compare Cena to a wrestling icon of the past.I'll attempt to compare him to Stone Cold, The Rock, Hulk Hogan and Sting. Those four wrestling icons has similarities that make people say, "John Cena is like _____ because...."I'll be taking a neutral perspective on the comparisons. In other words, I will not be bashing Cena like he's the incarnation of evil nor ...

WWE 900th Raw Celebration: Finally The Rock Has Come Back?

Posted by Micheal Robinson On August - 29 - 2010
Wishful thinking?  Maybe. We haven't seen hide or hare of The Rock in the WWE since October 2, 2009 when he was on a pre-recorded video for the 10th Anniversary of Smackdown. Let's face it.  The facts are there.  It is not, "if The Rock comes back."  It is, "when The Rock comes back." Despite all of his roles in film recently, he plans on making the time to return for not just one night, but to shake things up a bit and "entertain the fans like they haven't been in years."  Now, that isn't going to be an easy task with the new ...
Angle opens up with the Sun In a recent interview with the Baltimore Sun Kurt Angle talked about many issues. He talked about his contract, his injuries, and more. It was a solid interview worth checking out. I threw in few quotes to tease the taste buds. This one was worth the listen so check it out if you have a chance.   Angle on his future    He's going to continue wrestling full-time until his TNA deal expires in a year, he'll have to evaluate his future once it expires.  "Financially, I'm fine," he said.. "The hard part about leaving wrestling is I'll miss ...

Ring Of Honor: In a League Of Its Own

Posted by Charles Allen On August - 29 - 2010
Many pro wrestling fans find themselves increasingly frustrated nowadays. PG ratings and old timers have left us shaking our heads. We long for the days where wrestling was just that, not a watered down version of Sesame Street, and not a bunch of broken down stars of yesteryear holding on for way too long. For those of us who wish to see compelling professional wrestling matches pitting some of the very best performers in the world, and don't particularly care for what the big two promotions offer, Ring Of Honor is the answer. After attending my third live ROH event, I once ...

What Should Happen to The Nexus After They Split Up

Posted by Daruish Gorgirzadeh On August - 28 - 2010
Individually known as Wade Barrett, Skip Sheffield, Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel, David Otunga and Michael Tarver.Collectively known as The Nexus, one of the most dominant stables in recent WWE history. Now there have been rumblings among the IWC that the WWE will not continue with the group storyline past October. Now if that is true, I for one would be pretty disappointed, as in my opinion the Nexus has been a breath of fresh air for the WWE.However, if these rumours were to be true, I have decided to make a slideshow highlighting how I personally think the WWE should use these ...

The TNA Knockouts: A Division On Life Support?

Posted by Andre Harrison On August - 28 - 2010
Who remembers the days when TNA's Knockout Division was a breath of fresh air? Same here. When the belt was first introduced back in the nether-regions of 2008, I could tell that with some of the talent there, bright things were ahead for TNA and it's women. And it was. They had some amazing talent up there, they were main eventing Impacts and were, in my opinion, were actually a draw for the company. Gail Kim and Awesome Kong feuding, believe it or not, was one of the main reasons I was getting to TNA around that time as it was.  But in ...

The Return Of Creature Vs. Creature: And Your Winner Is…

Posted by Matthew Hester On August - 28 - 2010
Before we go onto the winner of this contest, I would like to thank everyone who took part in it. You guys did a great job and I hope you had fun. C vs. C is about opening up the mind of a writer. I am happy to see that all of you did a great job thinking outside the box. I also hope this contest helped out the BR community. I would have to think seeing so many good reads that it did. Like any other contest, there can only be one winner. We saw some good reads that covered a variety ...

Chris Benoit: A Name Lost in the Shadows of Pro Wrestling

Posted by Matthew Hester On August - 28 - 2010
I was really on the fence when it came to doing this piece. I will make my feelings known once on this. As a father, I find the man Chris Benoit to be a coward and overall, an awful person. That being said, it would be wrong not to recognize the accomplishments and skill he brought to the world of professional wrestling. I can also say that Chris Benoit was one of the best technical wrestlers I have ever seen. While the WWE is doing everything in their power to wipe Chris Benoit off the map, the fact of the matter is ...

Dear WWE: Please Bring Back Paul Bearer for the Undertaker-Kane Feud

Posted by John Betschel On August - 28 - 2010
At Summerslam, what all of us already knew was shown. Kane was the one who took out his own "brother," The Undertaker. After The Undertaker rose from the coffin and confronted Rey Mysterio, he turned and confronted Kane before grabbing Kane’s throat, resulting in The Undertaker getting Tombstoned. The next week on Smackdown, Kane explained why he Tombstoned The Undertaker and also why he attacked him in the first place. All this just adding more fuel to the fire, so to speak, adding more interest to the feud that has been going on since Kane first came to the WWE back in 1997. Now, ...
