On Oct. 1, Smackdown will officially move from MyNetworkTV to SyFy. Last Night, Chris Benoit's father was on Nightline to speak about his late son. As we all know, Benoit murdered his wife Nancy and son Daniel back in 2007. Benoit began giving insight on his son, not the wrestler nor the man who many believed to be a monster. He said growing up, Benoit dreamed of being a wrestler. Watching TNA sometimes is like watching a movie that you already know the outcome to. I sat in awe of what I had read on my computer screen. A woman who was one of the most successful, influential and unique women's wrestlers had been found dead at her mother's home. In sad news today, it has been reported that Luna Vachon has passed away. WWE has confirmed the news and so has some wrestling sites. WWE issued the following: "World Wrestling Entertainment has been made aware of the passing of Gertrude (Luna) Vachon. WWE extends its deepest condolences to the Vachon family. Ms. Vachon was under contract with WWE at various times from 1993 through 2000, and performed under the name “Luna” Vachon. She last performed for WWE in early 2000."
