WWE: An Analysis Of The Randy Orton Face Turn, Should He Be a Heel Again?

Posted by Chris Mueller AKA The Dude On September - 27 - 2010
Randy has portrayed a heel for about 99 percent of his career. He has built his career around his heelish tactics. The problem is that when someone is a heel for so long, some people start to cheer for him anyways. The same thing happened with Steve Austin in the 90's. Austin was a full-on heel, but the WWE fans began to cheer him anyways and WWE saw the potential in a blue collar anti-hero character and went for it. Austin became hugely successful after turning babyface, but what was great about his turn was that his attitude and tactics never changed ...

Is a Former WWE and TNA Superstar About To Return To Wrestling?

Posted by Cec Van Galini On September - 27 - 2010
One leading wrestling site is today claiming that Bobby Lashley, current MMA fighter, is seeking a return to the squared circle. Last seen losing in the octagon as a result of dehydration, there were expectations that he would fight in Dave Batista's debut fight. Would Lashley returning be a good thing for WWE? Certainly he has the presence and character to make an impact and would bolster the roster at a time when main event stars are limited. Questions though always remain as to whether those superstars that leave WWE will ever make it back again. The issue of loyalty is an important ...

Eddie Guerrero: A Man Who Personally Changed My Thoughts about Wrestlers

Posted by matthew offermann On September - 27 - 2010
When I was about nine years old, my parents took me to see a live show in Tampa. After the show we went outside to try to get autographs from all the guys. I saw all my favorite wrestlers walk right by me, such as Big Boss Man, Christian, D'Lo Brown, The Rock, and Austin (I was little so I had a lot). Out of all these guys, there was only one man that came over to a little kid on the side of a rail instead of the girls so he could give an autograph. It was Christian (just ...

Christian’s Return: How This Is a Make or Break For Him

Posted by matthew offermann On September - 26 - 2010
Christian will be out for a while and most everybody knows by now. The big question now for the people worldwide is how will he return. There are a lot of different questions I have heard thrown out for this return. The most common: Will he get the title? I think he will. Not because I am a huge fan or anything, but I have been thinking about how he comes back and when he does. Six to seven months was the suspected time of his return. This falls about the time of Wrestlemania and the start of a new "season". This could ...

Kane: The Return of the Mask

Posted by Peter Hopey On September - 26 - 2010
First the lights went out, the music began, the fire shot forth, the massive flames burned the sky, and finally you saw it emerging from the smoke, that black and red mask. So sinister, so scary, so demonic… The intensity, the drama, the aura, the chills running up and down your spine… Those were the days when Kane was Kane, when the character was everything it was supposed to be. And suddenly, in what seemed to be a flash, Kane as we knew him was gone… I beg to ask a question that has been on the lips of wrestling fans around the world ...

WWE Best of Best, Part 3: The 10 Greatest Powerhouses

Posted by Dan Power On September - 26 - 2010
In an effort to rank all the best wrestlers in their own style, it's time to come up with probably the most predictable list. But, as for any Top 10, the issue is more about the order than about who makes the list. They are the bodyslam and other power moves masters. To build their legacy, many of them achieved to lift the biggest wrestlers ever to slam them. They are also those who impressed the most with their huge impact moves and they often became WWE's "Top faces."Those 10 mountains of muscles are the greatest powerhouses in WWE and probably in ...

WrestleMania 27: Potential To Be One of the Biggest in Years

Posted by Micheal Robinson On September - 26 - 2010
While WrestleMania 27 is still six months away, my mind is clearly on it right now for many reasons. This will be my second WrestleMania I've attended after driving down to Orlando, Fla., to watch WrestleMania 24 back in 2008. Next year, WrestleMania is in my backyard.  The Georgia Dome in Atlanta. I would like to look at realistic possibilities for next year's WrestleMania main event without daydreaming about any big returns to the ring (The Rock, Goldberg). My heart is set on the fact that no one can beat The Undertaker and end the streak, it just isn't fathomable.  Maybe, The Rock... if he ...
Hello, Buzzers. Buzz is back. Among all recent feuds and storylines in WWE, one superstar really caught my attention. He is none other than the world's largest athlete—the Big Show. Looking at the likes of Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, Kane, and other superstars who had impressive wins and runs, you might think that I'm among the minority with my feelings. Some of you might have even raised an eyebrow by now. First, I think it's fair to say that Big Show has been on quite a good run since last year. I'm not able to recall any major upset he had since his losses in his feud with ...

WWE WrestleMania 27: Do We Want Undertaker Vs. Sheamus?

Posted by Dylan Thomas On September - 26 - 2010
So The Undertaker is 18-0 at WrestleMania some of his streak defences has been lacklustre such as his match with Mark Henry. But then many others have been out of this world mainly the last two years with Shawn Michaels; but also Batista, Edge and Triple H have posed a real threat to the streak. Sheamus the Celtic Warrior has had a meteoric rise in the WWE since last year and has truly been a breakout star. Now a two time WWE Champion and having headlined various PPV’s all year including taking out Triple H he has shown that he deserves his place ...
