Does Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Owe the WWE One More Appearance?

Posted by Cec Van Galini On October - 29 - 2010
For over a year, the WWE has teased the return of one of the most electric superstars in its history. Whether as guest host or as an active superstar, the reappearance of the Rock would surely mean ratings success. It had been rumoured that he was to appear on January 4th or over the summer, but on both occasions it fell through. The question remains if he does not return, is he abandoning the very people that made him what he is today? Certainly Cena, Punk and Jericho would seem to agree with the last point that The Rock was made by ...
We are less than one week away from what was once a hotly contested senate race in the state of Connecticut, but a race that now sees Republican challenger, and former WWE CEO, Linda McMahon trailing by double digits in most meaningful polls. Linda McMahon has run a persistent, financially aggressive campaign, backed by upwards of over $40 million of her own blood money which she made while overseeing business operations in the WWE as CEO.Linda McMahon's questionable past with the WWE seems to have haunted her in spite of a shrewd, politically savvy strategy.  Such a strategy has seen McMahon ...

WWE Should Learn From Basic UFC Concepts

Posted by Jason Alletto On October - 29 - 2010
This is a topic that people have talked about for years, but with all this Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker talk lately, I am going to bring it back. I am going to tell you exactly what WWE needs to borrow from The Ultimate Fighting Championship to freshen up their overall presentation...besides, obviously, Brock Lesnar himself. Let us be completely open minded for a second and look at the presentation of WWE RAW over the last decade.  High speed rock music intro, massive pyro-technics, same old titan-tron and entrance ramp, boring in-ring promo...you get the point.  And that is just within the first two minutes ...

The winner for this Creature vs Creature: Which WWE or TNA wrestler deserves a World Title but has never received one...is RIZE with John Morrison. Rize-10 votes Matt-8 votes Justin-1 vote Betschel-1 vote Burgett-0 votes   Rize wrote an excellent piece on how he believes that John Morrison most deserves a World Title. Check it out, http://bleacherreport.com/articles/499109-creature-vs-creature-john-morrison-deserves-to-be-world-champion  So once again thanks for the ...
Up until just a few months ago I was not a big fan of the Miz. I was impressed with his ability on the microphone, but I didn’t think he could wrestle an entertaining match. However, recently the Miz has made me eat my words, and in a way I am really glad he did. I have always been a bigger fan of his more energetic and athletic former tag team partner, John Morrison.  While I am still a huge fan of Morrison, it seems that the WWE has decided to put their faith in the guy who can draw fans ...

Flawless: Why WWE’s Women’s Division Needs LayCool

Posted by Sir Ben Gartland On October - 28 - 2010
Finally, the King of the Nerds has come back to Bleacher Report! The dust has settled after Bragging Rights, and LayCool are still the co-women's (I refuse to acknowledge it as the divas championship) champions. Now, many of you will be writing articles complaining about how they don't deserve to be champions and how they are overrated and annoying. Or maybe you won't even give them the respect of having their own article and will just make some disparaging remark in a Bragging Rights review article. However, I'm here to tell you why LayCool are vital to the WWE's ...

TNA: Replay!

Posted by Pavitar Sidhu On October - 28 - 2010
By now, everybody knows that TNA had at one time crossed the Monday line. iMPACT! used to crawl along as it did battle with WWE RAW. For better (eventually), or worse, TNA's flagship show was on a Monday time slot. An Accidental SituationSomething that not many people talked about actually happened. TNA actually created a pretty big void on Thursday nights. iMPACT! has been missed on the Thursday time slot. As ironic as it sounds, Mondays have always been pro wrestling days, but Thursdays obviously have become the adopted cousin for pro wrestling. This really proved to be true when TNA ran ...

Let's take a closer look into each element of the game and see for ourselves. Stale: 5 Reasons the Nexus Doesn’t Compare to Evolution

Posted by Rize On October - 28 - 2010
This was a slideshow I couldn't pass up. Lately their has been a lot of talk about the Nexus being the most dominant stable in WWE history. While everyone seems to have their own opinion on the subject, I utterly disagree with the accolade.Seems like just a few years ago, when four men, two barely known by the WWE universe, took over Monday Night RAW. It wasn't surprising as the Nexus because of it's leader declaring it was coming, but it turned out to be better than we predicted. That's right, I'm talking about Evolution. The greatest RAW stable of all ...
What do you think of this woman? Many of you are probably thinking that she is a no-talent hack who can barely wrestle to save her life. Well, guess what? You're wrong. Not only is she an amazing wrestler, but she has accumulated numerous accolades on the indy scene, male or female. In case you don't know, Jillian Hall was the former WWE jobberette, and most misused Diva talent for her entire career. Some may be wondering why I say "former," so let me fill you in. Rumor has it that Jillian has been taken off-screen and is now a trainer down at FCW. This ...
