WWE Wrestlemania 27: Should Triple H end The Undertakers’ mania streak?

Posted by Gina Geatches On February - 27 - 2011
The Undertaker finally returned on Raw this week after being out of action since October 15th, due to a shoulder injury.  Triple H spared no time and walked down to the ring as soon as Taker was back. The wrestlers did not need to say anything to explain what they wanted. These men want a match and they want it at Mania. Triple H’s best friend, Shawn Michaels, wrestled Taker last year at Wrestlemania and was forced to retire due to him losing the match. Triple H cannot help but feel sad and miss his best friend. So, obviously HHH ...

WWE Divas: The Hottest 25 Photos of Stacy Keibler

Posted by Zachary D. Rymer On February - 27 - 2011
For the layman, the world of professional wrestling is one that consists solely of big, sweaty, burly men pretending to hurt each other for the entertainment of even more big, sweaty, burly men. Now, this is a decidedly unfair assessment. Two things: a) It's not as easy as they make it look, and b) there are beautiful women in the mix, too. The WWE calls them "divas," and they provide a rather imperative service to the sport. There have been many of these so-called "divas" through the years, but few of them are as well known as the great Stacy Keibler. Her ...

3-3-11: The Slow Death of Dixie Carter’s TNA Wrestling

Posted by Quinn Gammon On February - 27 - 2011
This may very well be the last TNA article I ever write. That doesn't even have anything to do with the title, by the way. It's just that bad.  It's no secret to anyone that reads my work that I'm not a supporter of TNA. I am, by every definition of the word, a TNA hater. It's got nothing to do with purposely wanting the company to die, no matter how I choose to word things in my articles. TNA has a fantastic roster of wrestlers. That roster happens to be bogged down and overshadowed by the mind blowing amounts of Ex-WWE ...

Is there an identity for TNA?

Posted by troy smith On February - 27 - 2011
I ask this question because the IWC always complains about TNA copying WWE. In many cases those complaints are justified. But, one thing they say that always leaves me puzzled is “TNA needs to be TNA”  Well, what does that mean?An identity is unique. I am my own person and I don’t let others dictate who I am.It seems as though whenever people talk about what TNA should be, it is dictated by what WWE is. Is that it? Do you just want TNA to do whatever WWE isn’t doing? How can they grow as a company with that mentality? Some say ...
Vince McMahon is going away.  It won’t be this year, but at some point in the near future Vince McMahon will step down from the forefront of the WWE universe.  When this day arrives, for better or for worse, we can all be sure that professional wrestling will never be the same.   How will Vince part ways with The WWE?  Does anybody in their right mind believe that Vince McMahon, the most polarizing and iconic wrestling promoter in the history of the business, will step away quietly in the night?     Knowing the way Vince handles the company, his ...

WWE: The Best & Worst of the Undertaker (Part 1)

Posted by David Rutter On February - 27 - 2011
With WrestleMania in five weeks, the match I think most people will be talking about is The Undertaker vs. Triple H. As most people know, this will be the second time that Triple H has faced Undertaker at WrestleMania. The first time was at WrestleMania 17. Some have said the match between those two was one of the best of both of their careers. Now it’s a pretty good assumption Triple H will walk out of WrestleMania without a win against The Deadman, but the quality of the match will play out can’t be determined until well…we watch it. The Undertaker ...

The Top 100 WWE Wrestlers of All Time: 10-1

Posted by Micheal Robinson On February - 27 - 2011
So many wrestlers have graced a WWE ring. Some we barely remember.  Others we think about every single day.If you could break every the best down and put them in a Top 100, who would you list and how would you rank them?I want to be clear that I am only considering time with CWC (Capitol Wrestling Corp.), WWWF, WWF and WWE. Time spent with other organizations, even if they were an affiliate of WWE, is not being considered on my list.Wrestlers will be ranked on championships won, charisma, skills, popularity and their overall impact on the WWE landscape. I know I will take a lot of heat for some of my picks ...

Michelle McCool: The Center of Hate in the IWC

Posted by Chris B On February - 27 - 2011
Hello Bleachers! I'm finally back! Apologies for the short absence. Moving on... Michelle McCool What comes to mind when you hear that name? If you're the average wrestling fan, it's probably thoughts about championships that weren't deserved due to her relationship with Mark Callaway, better known as "The Undertaker." For years on end now fans have been on Michelle McCool's case for the number of accomplishments she's managed to rack up in her career, which include becoming the first Divas Champion, and being the first woman to hold both the Divas and Women's Championships. But has this hate been warranted? ...
Hello, Buzzers, Buzz is back.Who's the best WWE superstar right now? Who's been on top and who's career is going down the hill? Who's the biggest draw of this era? Those might be some questions asked by WWE fans as they watch their favorite show. Honestly speaking, it's always hard to determine the number one superstar because you'll always have different opinions using different criteria.Furthermore, many superstars might not stay consistent all year long and their careers might witness some rises and falls at certain moments. As I watched RAW, Smackdown and other PPVs in the past few months, I started asking ...

WWE/TNA: Power Ranking Every Champion in WWE and TNA

Posted by Big Nasty On February - 27 - 2011
These days, there are so many championships in national professional wrestling promotions that it becomes difficult to keep track of them. The saturation of championships has also led to inflation of sorts, as some titles and their respective champions are rendered more meaningful than others. In order to better keep track of every champion within WWE and TNA, I found it befitting to create a power ranking of every champion each promotion has to offer. And while the No. 1-ranked champion may surprise you, it's not even close when taking into account all the factors that make a great champion. Follow Big Nasty on ...
