WrestleMania 28 Predictions: What Will Happen One Year from Now?

Posted by Rachel Miller On March - 31 - 2011
WrestleMania 27 is right around the corner and with all the hoopla surrounding the "granddaddy of them all," I figured that it's not too early to talk about next year's WrestleMania at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida on Sunday, April 1, 2012. And so without further ado, here's my projected match card for WrestleMania 28. And although we don't know what is going to happen one year from now but somebody has got to preview WrestleMania 28 and that person might as well be myself. I based these predictions on the current roster, projected storylines, and my gut ...
It's WrestleMania time! WrestleMania 27 is right around the corner, and the excitement is bubbling over. This year's event is sizing up to be one of the biggest WrestleManias in some time. Lets breakdown each match at this years "season-ending" pay-per-view, lay down some predictions and bring the BOOM factor to each of the exciting matches that will unfold this Sunday!   BREAK IT DOWN: The Eight-Man Tag Match of The C.O.R.R.E (Wade Barrett, Ezekiel Jackson, Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater) to take on the team of The Big Show, Kane, Santino Marella and Vladamir Kozlov. What we have here ...
As part of my contribution to the worldwide WrestleMania coverage, I've deemed it necessary to reprise my role as CEO of Big Nasty securities to assess pivotal stocks heading into WrestleMania 27 in Atlanta, George. The emphasis, and lack thereof, for a handful of WrestleMania competitors has become very obvious with some talent being featured in more prominent roles than others.  My state of the art valuation techniques are designed to break down who is peaking and who is slumping as WWE prepares to showcase its annual blockbuster pay-per-view. Follow Big Nasty on twitter ...
The last truly great WrestleMania I remember watching was WrestleMania X-Seven. Vince McMahon’s recent, and shocking, purchase of WCW added intrigue to an already impressive card that included Vince McMahon vs. Shane McMahon, TLC for the Tag-Team titles, Undertaker vs. Triple H and, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin vs. The Rock for what was then the WWF Championship. The last greatly hyped WrestleMania was the following WrestleMania, number XVIII. That one featured The Rock going against “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan. We were all excited to see that match on that magical WrestleMania night that we forgot Hogan hitting Rocky with a hammer ...
Rapper Snoop Dogg To Attend Wrestlemania 27, Will He Have An Angle On The Show?Rapper, mogul, entrepreneur and WWE fan Snoop Dogg is going to be attending Wrestlemania 27 on Sunday. He wrote the news on his Facebook page, writing, "Fo’ Shizzle WWE Univizzle!! Jim Ross Hints At Doing Something This Sunday At WrestlemaniaWatching WWE television over the past two years you can tell that something isn't quite right. There's something missing when you tune in to watch Raw or a pay-per-view. The emotion and the passion seems to be lacking from the announcers, and that's because Jim Ross hasn't been on the broadcast team during that time.Ross brought a level of emotion and caring about what he was seeing to the product, even if the product was horrible. At Wrestlemania last year, both Undertaker and Shawn Michaels fought hard to get Ross to call ...

WWE WrestleMania 27: The Miz Could Be Set Up To Fail

Posted by Robert Aitken On March - 31 - 2011
We are six days shy of WrestleMania 27, when The Miz will main event as the WWE Champion against John Cena. Common belief suggests that John Cena will win the championship, hold the title up as pyro goes off, and the pay-per-view fades away from our television screens. After all, John Cena has been in a world title match for every WrestleMania since defeating JBL for his very first world championship at WrestleMania 21. Since then, Cena has walked away with the belt every year excluding WrestleMania 24, when he was pinned in a triple threat match against HHH and Randy ...

WWE Pre-WrestleMania 27: Ranking the Top 10 Can’t Miss Matches

Posted by Bryan Flory On March - 31 - 2011
Just days away from WrestleMania 27, I figured it would be the ideal time to rank the top 10 matches at this year's WrestleMania based on their projected match quality.Note: this partially takes into account the build for the match. Therefore, even though someone like Daniel Bryan is a phenomenal in-ring competitor, the build for his match with Sheamus is not strong enough to make it the number one projected match. As we all know, part of any great match is the chemistry and history between the two combatants, which downgrades a match like Bryan-Sheamus.With that said, let's take a look ...
Wrestlemania 27 is almost here and this could be the biggest one of them all since Wrestlemania 20. In this spectacular event, it features three main-event matches:The Miz(c) vs. John Cena for the WWE Championship.Edge (c) vs. Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship.Triple H vs. Undertaker with the Undertaker's Wrestlemania undefeated streak on the line!Other matches include: Michael Cole w/ Jack Swagger vs. Jerry "the King" Lawler with Stone Cold Steve Austin as the special referee.Sheamus defends the U.S. Championship against Daniel Bryan.CM Punk takes on Randy Orton.Big Show, Kane, Vladimir Kozlov and Santino Marella take on the ...
About a month ago I wrote an article about Old School things that I miss this one is kind of a follow up. Some people say that bringing in old guys hurts the WWE, but I'm going to give you 10 reason for the opposite argument, bringing in old guys helps them.Just in case, I'm referring to both guys who make sporadic appearances (Stone Cold, The Rock, JBL, etc.) and guys who are around but not all the time (The Undertaker, HHH and so on).Begin Slideshow
