WrestleMania XXVIII is looking like it is going to have a decent card come April 2012.However, I think the appearance of The Rock needs to be backed up by some more active legends. There are five wrestlers I’d like to see at WrestleMania XXVIII to make it the biggest event since WrestleMania X-Seven.A brief description will be given regarding the advantages of having them appear at the event, and returning to the WWE. This will be followed by the match I’d like to see them in, and the likelihood that they actually will return.Enjoy!Begin Slideshow

According to wrestlinginc.com, WWE Magazine is reporting that security is on high alert at all WWE televised events, as a Tough Enough cast-off is seeking vengeance. For those of you who don't know, Tough Enough is a WWE-produced reality show where contestants compete for a WWE contract. The article states: "WWE Magazine claims security personnel at television events have been ordered to keep an eye out for an individual who appeared on the last season of Tough Enough as he/she is threatening to intrude WWE programming. 'The Informer' says: 'Insiders report that a certain Tough Enough loser feels he/she was ...

WWE: 5 Superstars Who Could Revive the Cruiserweight Division

Posted by Paul McIntyre On September - 9 - 2011
Besides a flourishing tag team division, perhaps the thing the WWE Universe most wants to see is a cruiserweight division. We remember with great fondness the exhilarating competitions put on by the likes of Eddie Guerrero, Psicosis, Juventud Guerrera and, of course, current WWE stalwart Rey Mysterio. These, and others, innovated a fast-paced, flamboyant style of match that very often stole the show on any number of pay-per-views. While the main event tier of WWE has been severely shaken up by CM Punk and his pipe bombs, the creative staff has yet to address a more key issue in WWE programming: ...
Upsets are more than necessary in pro wrestling.  For a promotion to truly create an emotional connection with its fanbase, while cultivating an unforgettable environment for its product, upsets must exist.Upsets have been used in various capacities in pro wrestling.  They have been used to emphasize the dastardly nature of a heel, and also as a vehicle to make a young up-and-comer a star.  Most unfortunately, upsets have been used to publicly embarrass talent that the powers that be feel need to pay dues. Whatever the case, when done correctly, upset victories have lead to some of the biggest and most ...
Last night’s episode of Impact Wrestling was the go-home show before No Surrender. The past few weeks of TNA have been good, and while most were probably watching the NFL last night, I was in a certain amount of suspense for the show. The biggest question going into the show was what Jeff Hardy was going to say. Would he beg for forgiveness or tell us all to mind our own business? Here’s what happened. The show opened with Mr. Anderson. He admitted that joining Immortal was a bad idea and said that if Immortal hated him before, they’re really ...

WWE: The Top 5 Feuds That Should Be Happening Right Now

Posted by Robert Knight On September - 9 - 2011
WWE has had a small problem as of late. For some reason they like they to put two people together and make it appear that a feud is going to happen between the two. The two usually have a great match and their chemistry in the ring is very fluent. It appears obvious that the two will go after one another for a little while and though it might not lead to anything special the feud itself will be entertaining and fun to watch.Than out of no where they just stop. Why?WWE seems to be doing that a lot lately with a lot of their superstars and I cannot understand ...

Summerslam was a few weeks ago, so now the focus of WWE Programming is beginning to shift towards the grand daddy of them all, WrestleMania. In seven short months, we will see one of the biggest matches of all time when The Rock takes on John Cena in a dream match for the ages. But what else will the big event feature? What role will COO Triple H play? How about the hottest thing going, CM Punk? Jeff Hardy Asks for Another Chance on Impact and Other Quick Hits

Posted by David Levin On September - 9 - 2011
He paced back of forth all night in Alabama and then made the most important declaration of his life. Jeff Hardy admitted he was wrong. It could be just what Impact needs to get things rolling again. Hardy was sentenced to 10 days in jail and received a $100,000 fine and probation for his two felony counts in the case against him in North Carolina. On the day he appeared on television to begin "work," Hardy accepted a plea bargain in his case. He will be allowed to travel for work as part of the agreement. Yes, that defines irony. There was sadness in his ...

WWE: 10 Possible Future Storylines for Justin Gabriel in WWE

Posted by Drake Oz On September - 9 - 2011
Justin Gabriel spent the early portion of his WWE career working for someone else. But those days are over. After living in the shadow of Wade Barrett as part of The Nexus and The Corre, Smackdown's resident high-flyer turned face and is now flying solo. He hasn't been on his own for long, but he's got the makings of a potentially solid mid-card performer, with a good look and underrated wrestling ability.I'm not sure Gabriel will ever find his way into the main event scene (at least not soon)--but he should be a key contributor on the blue brand going forward. It's just ...
