Tee Gee Eye Eff at long last! This Broski needs a brewski, like many others, after his long day.Look! It's not over yet. Smackdown is on and with that, a whole new article.Have you ever wondered why people stay at their jobs despite being treated like garbage? Case in point: Hall of Famers Howard Finkel and Jim Ross. These two gentlemen are legends of the business. One is the greatest ring announcer of all time and the other is the best damn play-by-play commentator there is today, yet neither of them are doing what they are masters of on a full-time basis. Real ...

WWE Smackdown Results: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Posted by Justin Watry On December - 9 - 2011
WWE Smackdown was a quality show this week. It featured a lot of nice build for the WWE TLC next weekend, but it did not do too much at the same time. My "grade" for the night would be a B. With that being said, let's dive into the Blue Brand from tonight! Note: I will not be discussing the diva's match that was cut from the Smackdown broadcast. It never aired, thus it never happened in the WWE Universe.  The GoodFirst, I want to welcome back Lilian Garcia! It is always nice to see her, and I look forward to watching her ...

11 of the WWE’s Best Managers from the Attitude Era to Today

Posted by David Levin On December - 9 - 2011
They are a rare breed.Take the "Montreal Screw Job" and add "The Attitude Era" and then coat it with "Austin 3:16" and then show off your best "DX" and what you have is one best time frames of wrestling we have ever seen. And then, to make things even better, take "Cena Sucks" and add to that "The Brothers of Destruction" and stir in a little of "Stratusfaction" and you have another era in wrestling that is unsurpassed.Along the way, we have also seen some great managers from the past 14 years who have become just as important as the wrestlers they ...

WWE: How Can Monday Night Raw Escape Its Recent Ratings Funk?

Posted by Jessica Eberle On December - 9 - 2011
Many of us have our own opinions about the WWE and its programming. Some of us think it is the best it has ever been while others disagree.According to the ratings, it has been nothing but pleasant success for the Monday Night Raw crew.A few years ago, WWE attempted to raise its ratings by adding celebrity guest hosts into the mix. As you can see, that idea was short-lived and didn't assist the company at all.The dominant occurrence we see now is that of the Raw SuperShow where Raw and SmackDown superstars share the same locker room and ring. This ...
I do not remember when last I cared so much about a United States title match.Dolph Ziggler, the current United States champion, has had a pretty good reign, having held the title for six months now. Zack Ryder seems to be his natural successor and has had two previous failed attempts at capturing the US championship. Ryder is currently the number one contender again. He has another opportunity at the TLC pay-per-view to challenge Ziggler for his title, and I am confident enough to say he is a shoo-in for the win. That being said, the point when titles change hands is ...

Triple H and the Top 20 Unsexiest Wrestlers of All-Time

Posted by C.I.M On December - 9 - 2011
In case you missed it, "The King of Kings" was listed as one of the Unsexiest Men of 2011 in a list published by New England based  Boston Phoenix.Hunter was placed on the list with the likes of Mark Zuckerberg, Dr. Oz, Ricky Gervais and Charlie Sheen. The list pretty much ran the gamut of people in pop-culture. Sadly, it seems as if "The Cerebral Assassin" was placed on the list more for his actions on TV rather than appearance. This did get me thinking that wrestling has seen it's fair share of un-sexy. So I decided to compile a list of 20 of ...

The year of 2011 has been one wild ride for the WWE and its fans. One can claim with slight exaggeration that probably this was one of the most eventful years in the history of the company. WWE Rumors: WWE Announcer Gone from WWE, Does Not Re-Sign

Posted by Justin Watry On December - 9 - 2011
This is a little bit of unexpected news. However, at the same time, it is not shocking. According to this report, Jack Korpela has decided not to renew his WWE contract and has left the company. For those unaware, he had been doing some announcing work on WWE NXT and WWE Superstars recently. The report, linked here, has not been confirmed by WWE, so believe what you want! My thoughts on this rumor? Honestly, I never had a problem with the guy. I remember many times watching the pre-show for WWE PPV events and watching him hype it up big time. ...

Linda and Hulk Hogan are in the media yet again after having just reached a divorce settlement which saw Linda get a hefty 70 percent on Hogan's fortune. Accoring to an article published by the St. Petersburg Times, Hulk is slamming Linda with a lawsuit claiming she is lying about several aspects of the grappler's life. In Linda's book Wrestling the Hulk: My Life Against the Ropes, she makes numerous allegations of abuse against Hogan. She claims she never told police about the incidents for fear of how it would affect the family. She also claims that she feared for ...
