Last night’s SmackDown was average in terms of excitement. Nothing really went on until the main event.Sheamus beat Jinder Mahal like we all knew he would, Cody Rhodes was wasted in a match with Ezekiel Jackson and the Funkasaurus won in about 10 seconds, giving him no time to inject any sort of comedy into the role like he did on Monday Night Raw. The main event, which pitted the Big Show against World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan, was very exciting but I can’t help but think it would have been a little more convincing had head shots been allowed.I ...

Posted by Chris Mueller AKA The Doctor On January - 14 - 2012
Last night on SmackDown Cody Rhodes made a very strong prediction for himself. The son of legend Dusty Rhodes is looking to outshine the careers of both his brother and father by pulling what he referred to as an "Ultimate Warrior." For anyone who does not know what he is talking about, Ultimate Warrior was Intercontinental Champion when he defeated Hulk Hogan to become WWE Champion. This is something that has only been done by two men in WWE history. Other have held multiple titles like HBK holding the WWE and European titles and RVD holding the WWE and ECW titles at ...

WWE SmackDown: Will Hunico Be Able To Help Dibiase or Is This Feud Pointless?

Posted by Chris Mueller AKA The Doctor On January - 14 - 2012
Last night Hunico was on commentary during the match between Drew McIntyre and Ted Dibiase. Dibiase got the win after Dreamstreet, but the more interesting part of the segment was Hunico on commentary. One thing I found interesting was how Hunico seemed to get a long with both the heel and face announcers, something rarely seen when someone is on commentary. Hunico went into his love of low rider bikes a bit, but mostly he addressed the friction between Dibiase and himself. Apparently Hunico feels left out by not being invited to Dibiase Posse get-togethers. Frankly, this is the dumbest reason I have ever heard ...

WWE SmackDown: Daniel Bryan, Big Show and Mark Henry Feud, AJ’s Injury

Posted by Chris Mueller AKA The Doctor On January - 14 - 2012
Last night on SmackDown we learned that next week, Daniel Bryan is scheduled to defend his title in what will be Mark Henry's rematch for the World Title he lost at TLC. Bryan and Big Show fought to a no-contest last night after Show accidentally knocked down AJ at ringside, causing the match to stop and paramedics to rush her to safety. Bryan played the angry boyfriend role very well, calling Big Show a bastard very loud right as the show went off the air. What is interesting to consider is whether this was planned by Bryan. They showed AJ ...

WWE: Jim Johnston’s Top 10 Theme Songs of All Time (Video)

Posted by Micheal Robinson On January - 14 - 2012
Jim Johnston, born James Alan Johnston has been working for the WWE since 1985.Johnston is the man behind most of the theme songs you heard and loved when you were young, as well as a number of current theme songs today.WWE knew exactly what they were doing when they got a music composer as good as Johnston to create wrestlers' theme songs. In my humble opinion, a theme song a wrestler uses is just as important as the moves he makes in the ring.Fans love theme songs, at least this one does, and they are one of the most remembered pieces ...
Welcome to today's results of "IWC Votes."In the past, I have asked you, (the reader), to vote on various topics including favorite wrestler, Royal Rumble moment, finishing move, entrance theme, favorite championship. This article deals with wrestling managers. For as long as there have been wrestlers, there has been a manager to help them get to the next level.Traditionally, managers have been used for wrestlers who have great potential get to the main-event level, but these wrestlers lack the mic skills to get there on their own. Managers typically are excellent at talking on the microphone and posses the ability to draw massive heat or pops from the crowd for their ...

WWE News: Reviews, Analysis and Rumors for Week of Date Jan. 8

Posted by Mike Chiari On January - 14 - 2012
The Royal Rumble is now just two weeks away, and while there wasn't much development on that front in the WWE this week, there was still plenty to talk about. Not only was the first batch of this year's Hall of Famers revealed on RAW, but there was also the much-anticipated re-debut of Brodus Clay.In addition to that, Chris Jericho made yet another appearance, but things continue to get stranger on that front. Not even the WWE has been able to resist talking about Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow, as "Stone Cold" Steve Austin gave him high praise. There was also some ...
