How WWE Has Finally Ruined Daniel Bryan and Raw

Posted by Mike Shannon On October - 28 - 2013
My relationship with wrestling has always had its ups and downs.  Wrestling was my first love, even before football, baseball or hockey.  Wrestling was with me all through childhood when I was a fan of Hulk Hogan and through my teenage angst period when Steve Austin and DX ruled the airwaves.  Today, my relationship with wrestling is at its lowest point.  Wrestling has been so bad to me for so long that some days I feel like I want to give up and get rid of it forever.  I keep giving it chances, though, and, sometimes, wrestling is very good to ...

What’s Next for Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton After Hell in a Cell?

Posted by Erik Beaston On October - 28 - 2013
After 20 minutes of hard-hitting action, special guest referee Shawn Michaels delivered Sweet Chin Music to Daniel Bryan and counted his protege's shoulders to the mat before declaring Randy Orton the new WWE champion. It was a shocking moment that created more questions than answers. One of those questions is, what is next for Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton following their third consecutive pay-per-view main event? Will the intense rivals clash over the WWE Championship for a fourth straight time, or will they be kept apart from one another in order to give fans a break from their feud after dominating the fall? If ...

Daniel Bryan Saga Will Lead to Career-Defining WrestleMania Moment

Posted by Joe Johnson On October - 28 - 2013
There is much displeasure across the Internet Wrestling Community this morning upon yet another Monday arriving without Daniel Bryan as the WWE champion. Last night at Hell in a Cell, Bryan was defeated by new champion Randy Orton after receiving sweet chin music from the special guest referee Shawn Michaels. Yet again, the WWE Universe and the Internet Wrestling Community's favorite underdog didn't win the big one. He was once again screwed out of the top prize in the wrestling industry. Triple H was once again standing tall at the end of the show, despite also gripping his jaw after receiving ...

WWE Survivor Series 2013: Full Card Predictions After Hell in a Cell

Posted by Ryan Dilbert On October - 28 - 2013
WWE Hell in a Cell bleeds into Survivor Series 2013, new rivalries emerging from old ones and new challengers taking their places opposite champions. As T.S. Eliot wrote in Little Gidding, "to make an end is to make a beginning." That felt true after Daniel Bryan's loss against Randy Orton looked to be the next catalyst in his feud with Triple H. After a crammed pay-per-view schedule, WWE thankfully has a bit more breathing room between shows. That means the company has more time to build matches, tell its stories and answer the questions on fans' minds.  Which traditional tag team elimination matches will we ...

Posted by Joe Johnson On October - 28 - 2013
There have been rumors that Ryback has developed a bad reputation backstage. Heat on him has been reported by WrestlingInc.com, even going as far to say Vince McMahon himself has lost a lot of faith in his enigmatic powerhouse. Some of what may have caused Ryback heat backstage could be surfacing on social media. Late this morning, Ryback took to Twitter with some strong words for WWE's fans that don't appear to be part of a storyline. "Hey here is an idea. How about you guys find 3 things u enjoyed about HIAC and be happy. Being miserable sucks I get it ...

Every match scheduled for Sunday was addressed in some way, and a couple of other possible matches could end up happening after events unfolded on the show. But that's Sunday, and this is about SmackDown. Let's get right ...

Power Ranking Most Likely Finishes for Big Show at Hell in a Cell

Posted by Big Nasty On October - 26 - 2013
Raw signed off this past week with Big Show assisting Daniel Bryan in "yes" chants.  Big Show has been just as involved in WWE's top storyline as any of its components.  With Show currently "fired" per WWE storylines and not booked at Hell in a Cell, he figures to be involved in the match finish.  Another Big Show heel turn is always likely.  This was the case last time Show was fake fired by John Laurinaitis and needed to get his job back.  Given that the match is taking place in a cell, perhaps the giant could be featured in an impressive spot where ...

The NXT Report for October 23, 2013

Posted by Erik Beaston On October - 26 - 2013
Last week's NXT was among the best in the developmental brand's history, as it was the culmination of several top rivalries and featured the beginning of a new angle that will dominate programming for the next month. Bo Dallas utilized great ring awareness to defeat Sami Zayn and retain the NXT Championship, though not without controversy. JBL restarted the match after the referee failed to see Dallas' foot draped over the bottom rope as he counted three and awarded the title to Zayn. What repercussions will their be, and will Zayn hold it against the new NXT general manager? Also on last week's ...
