WWE Raw Results: Biggest Winners and Losers After Nov. 25

Posted by Ryan Dilbert On November - 26 - 2013
Alliances helped the biggest winners from Monday's WWE Raw become the most fascinating elements of the show. The Wyatt Family, The Shield and Big E Langston ended the night with added momentum. These Superstars were made to look strong, provided lasting images and can see prosperity awaiting them on the horizon. The same cannot be said for the best wrestlers in a division hampered by misguided booking and a pair of midcarders hitting each other with oars and tennis rackets.   Winner: The Wyatt Family Bray Wyatt joined Luke Harper and Erick Rowan in battling CM Punk and Daniel Bryan. Punk and Bryan eventually won by ...

WWE Survivor Series 2013: How to Restore Glory to Historic Event in 2014

Posted by Giulio Romano On November - 26 - 2013
This year's Survivor Series event is a thing of the past. Though it was a lackluster event given the fact that both main event title matches were less than impressive, the ending was well worth it. A new, undisputed WWE champion will be crowned soon, and that is the best news in a decade. It has been long enough; it's time to have just one man of the hour. Now, that being said, the Survivor Series pay-per-view as a whole has been very disappointing over the last few years. Even if it is one of the classic Big Four events of the year, ...

10 Greatest Tables, Ladders and Chairs Matches in WWE History

Posted by Erik Beaston On November - 26 - 2013
On December 15, World Wrestling Entertainment will present the TLC pay-per-view from the Toyota Center in Houston. The show is sure to feature some violent, chaotic, wild matches that will continue the legacy of the event.  One match guaranteed to take place is the event's namesake. The Tables, Ladders and Chairs match has been a staple of WWE events since 2000 and has featured some of the bravest, most daring Superstars in company history sacrificing their bodies for the sake of entertainment. Edge, Christian, the Hardy Boyz and the Dudley Boyz are the founders of the match, but throughout the years, everyone from John ...

What We Learned from Monday’s Edition of Raw

Posted by Aaron Bower On November - 26 - 2013
So, Monday night saw the first Raw following the Survivor Series pay-per-view, and with some buildup already starting to be put in place for the TLC show in three weeks, things are moving on at a steady pace in the WWE. Monday's show, in all fairness, really wasn't the best, but we have new storylines to take from the show—even if they aren't the most exciting or innovative. There were some moments that caught the eye, though, including yet more momentum for an ever-growing Superstar and an interesting twist to an existing rivalry. But what did we learn from the show in Long ...
The 2013 edition of WWE’s Survivor Series pay-per-view was met with plenty of criticism, but Sunday's show helped several stars prove their worth to the company by giving them a platform to shine. Each of the following wrestlers won on Sunday, but it was the impression that each made in the ring with their performance that will really help catapult each to the next level.   Roman Reigns Is a Beast The Shield has been one of the most dominant trios in wrestling history, but every good idea must come to an end eventually. As seen by Roman Reigns’ performance at the PPV, he ...

WWE Survivor Series 2013: Breaking Down Biggest Missteps at Latest PPV

Posted by Mike Chiari On November - 26 - 2013
Based on the overall weakness of the build leading up to the event, most fans didn't have particularly high hopes for Survivor Series on Sunday night. Their suspicions were realized as the event turned out to be sub-par, to say the least, and featured a multitude of questionable booking decisions. There were definitely some highlights, such as Roman Reigns' dominance to open the show, but that was undone by a lack of logic elsewhere. The card was pretty much doomed to fall short no matter what; however, the creative team could have at least salvaged it by making some imaginative and ...

WWE TLC 2013: Survivor Series Winners Who Will Keep Momentum

Posted by Tom Clark On November - 26 - 2013
WWE Survivor Series is in the books, and now that it's over, the status quo of the company has remained largely unchanged.  Both John Cena and Randy Orton retained their respective championships, and once again, Ryback came up short on the pay-per-view stage. Though that may sound harsh, the point is that Survivor Series seemed to happen merely to just keep the WWE machine rolling along without any new headway being made for any Superstar.  The only exception to this is Roman Reigns of The Shield, who was the last man standing in the traditional elimination tag team match.  But more ...

The Good, the Great and the Awesome from Raw 11/25/13

Posted by Erik Beaston On November - 26 - 2013
Just 24 hours removed from a Survivor Series pay-per-view that is better left unspoken about, WWE rolled into the historic Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y. for Monday Night Raw. After world heavyweight champion John Cena confronted WWE champion Randy Orton to close out Sunday's broadcast, fans speculated about the possibility of a title unification match between them sometime between now and WrestleMania. Would they have their suspicions confirmed, and if so, would there be a definitive announcement about when that match will take place? After watching his followers Luke Harper and Erick Rowan lose to CM Punk and Daniel Bryan at Survivor Series, ...

WWE Raw Results: Winners, Grades, Reaction and Highlights from Nov. 25

Posted by Ryan Dilbert On November - 26 - 2013
One night after Survivor Series 2013, WWE Raw delivered a mix of the excellent and the subpar. Tag teams, old and new, flourished. The Wyatt Family's feud with CM Punk and Daniel Bryan took a strange, intriguing turn. Triple H announced a huge match for TLC 2013.  Long Island, N.Y., hosted an episode that also gave fans reason to roll their eyes. A deju vu moment with both Dolph Ziggler and the Divas did little to engage us. Monday's Raw also delivered a segment with Michael Strahan that hurt The Miz and Titus O'Neil's perception with the audience. How well did the performers create ...

John Cena to Face Randy Orton at Tables, Ladders & Chairs PPV

Posted by Tim Keeney On November - 25 - 2013
The WWE teased the idea of title unification on Sunday night at Survivor Series with John Cena and Randy Orton, and on the follow-up Raw, they took another significant step toward making that happen.  WWE's Twitter feed provides the details for the match that was made official on Monday night: IT'S OFFICIAL! In 20 DAYS at #WWETLC: World Hvt. Champ @JohnCena vs. WWE Champ @RandyOrton in a #TLCMatch! #TitleForTitle! #RAW — WWE (@WWE) November 26, 2013 There are several different ways this could go, but two potential scenarios stick out.  On the one hand, one wrestler could walk out a clear-cut winner, and the WWE ...
