Dean Ambrose Should Be Kept out of Survivor Series Elimination Match

Posted by Alfred Konuwa On October - 30 - 2014
The long, bitter, evasive, frenetic and overall magnificent rivalry between Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins is dead. Or at least it should be. Sunday at Hell in a Cell, Ambrose’s much-hyped main event match against Rollins ended when Bray Wyatt returned unannounced and—whether he was trying to or not—serving as timely product placement for the upcoming Ouija film. Wyatt used smoke, holograms and other spiritualistic bona fides to distract Ambrose before attacking him, thus costing him the match. WWE has since moved forward, announcing a main event that will pit Team Cena vs. Team Authority at the November Survivor Series pay-per-view. The idea behind ...

Dean Ambrose Will Be the New Cerebral Assassin vs. Bray Wyatt

Posted by Tom Clark On October - 30 - 2014
Dean Ambrose was close to defeating his former Shield teammate Seth Rollins at WWE Hell in a Cell on Sunday, October 26 when Bray Wyatt interfered.  Wyatt's surprising involvement cost Ambrose the win and essentially set the table for a new feud between them. Even though Wyatt's gimmick is very intense and psychological in its nature, the fact is that he has never faced an opponent like Ambrose.  In fact, Ambrose will become the new cerebral assassin in his feud with The Eater of Worlds. The nickname is an obvious nod to Triple H, who is known as The Cerebral Assassin.  The ...

WWE Survivor Series 2014: Titles Most Likely to Change Hands at Event

Posted by Sharon Glencross On October - 30 - 2014
While Sunday's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view didn't have any title changes, expect some of the company's champions to lose their beloved belts at next month's Survivor Series event. The first name that springs to mind is United States champion Sheamus. The Irish star has had a long, if unremarkable, run with the secondary belt. At this point Sheamus isn't really being helped by the title, nor is the belt gaining much prestige from being associated with him. It's surely time to give someone a shot with it. Maybe The Miz could have another title match in St. Louis and actually pull out ...
It was a pay-per-view ending almost reminiscent of the Attitude Era at Hell in a Cell, in truth. Having Bray Wyatt come down and cause pure anarchy at the end of the main event left a sour taste in the mouths of some, but in reality, it was no different than an interference that was commonplace back in the late 1990s. Some felt that it was a mistake to leave no definitive winner between Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, but that simply means the feud can be revisited at a later date.  Wyatt's interference thrust him back into the limelight in a ...

Los Matadores and the tag team champions won't need to dress up; their standard ring gear already fits in with the upcoming holiday. The same goes for those who have already perused any of the spoiler reports out there. The taped show ...

Ryback Will Be Rejuvenated by Apparent Babyface Turn

Posted by Ryan Dilbert On October - 28 - 2014
Ryback, healthy for the first time in months, emerged from the curtains in San Antonio to the kind of fervent reactions that he heard in the early stages of his career. Monday's WWE Raw was a rebirth for Ryback. He returned from injury, a babyface once more, with an opportunity to rewrite a story that fell apart as it reached its climax last time around. WWE first thrust him onto the scene as an unstoppable force, a man who tore through his opposition untouched. The reprise of Goldberg, undefeated streak and all, caught on. "Feed me more!" chants filled arenas every week.  Rushing him ...
