Thanks to swift feet and stiff uppercuts, Cesaro and Tyson Kidd are WWE's new tag team champs. Their title reign is a chance to elevate both men and to produce a collection of memorable matches. The key to achieving those goals is make them more than mat masters, showcasing their personality along with their ring work. Varying up their foes is vital as well. Much of The Usos' second run with the belts dragged, as they would take on The Miz or Damien Mizdow again and again with no narrative development. Rather than having them stay in place for long, Cesaro and Kidd ...

WWE WrestleMania 2015: Power Ranking Every Card in PPV’s History

Posted by Ryan Dilbert On February - 26 - 2015
For WWE WrestleMania 2015 to surpass WrestleMania XIX and WrestleMania X-Seven, it will require a herculean effort. Those events were WWE at its best, brimming with drama, drenched in spectacle. Massive stars delivered on pro wrestling's biggest stage. When Triple H battles Sting and when Roman Reigns looks to take down Brock Lesnar, those men will be looking to be remembered as fondly as the WrestleMania bouts between Steve Austin and The Rock. They will strive to give as stunning a performance as John Cena and Shawn Michaels did in 2007 or Randy Savage and Ricky Steamboat pulled off in 1987. The Show ...

Has anybody heard any good Brock Lesnar stories lately? WWE spent the past several months building Lesnar into its most dominant force in decades—maybe ever.Lesnar's dominance is presumably going to lead to his downfall at WrestleMania 31 as Roman Reigns prepares to carry the torch. That is, if Lesnar makes it to WrestleMania 31. @ThisIsNasty do you know the real reason Brock Lesnar walked off of raw? #wwe— Chris Bryant (@melobrand06) February 26, 2015 Nobody will know the real reason behind Lesnar's reported walkout, per Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t WrestlingInc.com), until we get the sensationalized version during his next WWE DVD.Lesnar will always be mercurial. Since winning the Intercontinental Championship, Bad News Barrett has been losing to almost everyone he meets in the ring. At WWE’s WrestleMania 31, he will likely have to defend the title in a Fatal 4-Way match. At this point, most fans hope Barrett loses the IC title so he can go back to being one of the top workers and personalities in the company. While there was a time when the Intercontinental Championship was the second-most important title in the company and holding it really meant something, the wrestler who holds the title now is treated like a jobber and loses on ...

A Sheamus Feud with Daniel Bryan Is Ideal for His Return

Posted by Alfred Konuwa On February - 26 - 2015
Where in the name of white noise is Sheamus? He's been gone for months, but his return is imminent. Sadly, WWE's recent string of Sheamus vignettes make it seem like he's never left. Brogue Kicking. Chest-pounding. He loves to fight—everybody already knows that. Sheamus disappeared for months with no entry point. According to promotional videos, he's going to return as the same guy he was when he left, which was stale and uninspiring. According to backstage reports from PWInsider (h/t WrestlingInc.com), Sheamus may work with Daniel Bryan instead of the more Twitter-approved Dolph Ziggler. With every pugnacious Sheamus "return" video, the question changes from "Where's Sheamus?" ...

Chris Jericho Will Appear in ‘Sharknado 3’ on Syfy Network

Posted by Dan Carson On February - 26 - 2015
The Sharknado series will continue with its third installment this summer, and all indications point to former wrestler/rocker Chris Jericho drop-kicking a Tiger shark before the credits roll. The Orlando Sentinel’s Hal Boedeker (h/t Black Sports Online’s Candido Hernandez) reports that Jericho recently shot a scene for Sharknado 3 in Orlando with franchise star Tara Reid.  Boedeker reports that Jericho will play a ride attendant at Universal Studios, which is slated for demolition by falling sharks in the film. Jericho posted pictures of himself and costars Reid and Ryan Newman on the set. He is wearing an extremely Floridian shirt and is ...

WWE WrestleMania 31: Most Intriguing Storylines to Track on Road to PPV

Posted by Aaron Bower On February - 26 - 2015
With the biggest show of the year, WWE WrestleMania 31, just weeks away, there is plenty to keep an eye on as we head towards the pay-per-view. With championships, and ultimately storylines, being settled at the event, there are plenty of rivalries and feuds worth keeping an eye on, even away from the major matches on the card. And arguably one of those storylines to follow closely is the quickly developing rivalry between Sting and Triple H. This match was only locked down last weekend at WWE Fastlane after their face-to-face confrontation, and it will be interesting to see how the WWE play ...

Projecting a Potential Timeline for Triple H to Become WWE’s Lead Creative Voice

Posted by Sebastian Maldonado On February - 26 - 2015
WrestleMania season is upon us! And yet it doesn't feel like it, especially from the majority of the WWE Universe. Since September 2014, the WWE has entered a state of turmoil as a result of the following incidents: Roman Reigns needed to get surgery to repair a hernia, Brock Lesnar, the WWE champion, made his last appearance of the year at Night of Champions, and to make matters worse, its minor league brand fared better than its flagship shows. The new year emerged with promise. Both Reigns and Daniel Bryan returned, declaring that they'd win the Royal Rumble. Bryan entered No. 8 ...

WWE SmackDown: Spoiler-Free Preview for February 26

Posted by Ryan Dilbert On February - 26 - 2015
Following Fastlane, there is still plenty of animosity to go around on the Feb. 26 edition of WWE SmackDown. Dolph Ziggler leads the way against The Authority again. Dean Ambrose marches forward without the Intercontinental Championship, certain to still be heated about letting his shot at that title slip away. Natalya and Naomi will both have their claws out. The Philips Arena in Atlanta hosted all that action on Tuesday night. Until the taped show airs on Syfy on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET, many fans will be plugging their ears in the hopes of avoiding spoilers. For that portion of the audience, ...
