WWE Fastlane 2015: Breaking Down Biggest Matches on the Card

Posted by Donald Wood On February - 17 - 2015
The WWE Universe doesn’t know what to expect from the first-ever Fastlane pay-per-view, but the company’s dedication to making WrestleMania special should result in this secondary event being much better than expected. With Daniel Bryan in the main event against Roman Reigns, John Cena trying to take the United States Championship from Rusev and Dean Ambrose doing his best to legitimize the Intercontinental title, there is a lot to get excited about. Here is the full pre-SmackDown Fastlane card and a breakdown of the biggest matches on the inaugural edition of the show.     Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan Exceeding Expectations When Roman Reigns ...

Roman Reigns Must Defeat Daniel Bryan at WWE Fastlane 2015

Posted by Alex Musso On February - 17 - 2015
Roman Reigns has a huge match this Sunday, and it's one he must win.  The match with Daniel Bryan to determine the No. 1 contender for Brock Lesnar's WWE World Heavyweight Championship is not a match he can afford to lose.   Now, if you think I'm just a "mark" for Reigns, think again.  When the bell sounds on Sunday and Reigns locks up with Bryan, I'll be rooting for Bryan, hands down, as I'm sure most WWE fans will be, too.  And I've been vocal about my dislike for Reigns' character development.  If I were to make a list of ...

Sting Will Take Out The Authority at WWE Fastlane

Posted by Tom Clark On February - 17 - 2015
Sting is expected to make an appearance at WWE's Fastlane event coming up on Sunday, February 22. The pro wrestling legend and resident vigilante of WWE will be at Fastlane thanks to Triple H, who has demanded he be present for the night. And while this scenario reeks of a classic setup, the fact is that The Authority's schemes may backfire on them.  Considering how good Sting has looked thus far, it's hard to believe that the company will allow him to fall now, and that means he will very likely take out The Authority at Fastlane. The impending confrontation between The ...

WWE Raw Results: Winners, Grades, Reaction and Highlights from Feb. 16

Posted by Ryan Dilbert On February - 17 - 2015
Although there were some thrilling moments in the ring, the Feb. 16 edition of WWE Raw isn't the type of show that fans will look back on in order to savor all the great wrestling. The go-home show's success comes from it turning up the volume on the intensity for the feuds set for Fastlane. Sting unsettled Triple H from afar, John Cena balled up his fists on the hunt for revenge and the night ended with Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns tossing respect aside in favor of scrapping. WWE added to the pay-per-view's card as well. Dean Ambrose will now face ...
If there's one man who can speak to the dangers that come with battling Sting, it's the Nature Boy, Ric Flair. During Monday night's edition of Raw, the 16-time world champion tried to impart some of his wisdom on Triple H, who's set to confront Sting at the Fastlane pay-per-view on Sunday, via WWE Universe: Triple H remained unmoved, shoving Flair to the mat and declaring that he doesn't fear Sting. As a whole, the segment was very well done. WWE rarely acknowledges any sort of history that stretches beyond a few months, so to see them bring up the history between Flair ...

Dean Ambrose vs. Wade Barrett Announced for WWE Fastlane 2015 PPV

Posted by Joseph Zucker On February - 16 - 2015
Although the contract itself probably won't hold up in court, Dean Ambrose and Bad News Barrett both signed on the dotted line, agreeing to an Intercontinental Championship match at Fastlane on Sunday. Barrett didn't necessarily sign of his own volition, with Ambrose taking advantage of the current champ being in a rather precarious position: David Otunga thinks Barrett should immediately seek legal counsel: Ambrose was forced to resort to desperate tactics after Barrett dismissed any idea that he'd willingly agree to the match: The whole scene was a bit odd in that the idea of a physical contract for a title match is often only ...

WWE Raw: Live Results, Reaction and Analysis for February 16

Posted by The Doctor Chris Mueller On February - 16 - 2015
Welcome to Bleacher Report's live coverage for WWE Raw on Monday, Feb. 16. Last week's NXT TakeOver: Rival special was a huge success, but now it's up to the main roster to prove why it still contains the biggest dogs in the yard. According to James Wortman of WWE.com, there are some big storylines that will be addressed during this week's episode, one of which will see a popular legend return to try to get his sons back on the same page. Another group that seems to be having some issues is The Authority. After Big Show knocked out Kane during their match ...
WWE Superstars have every right to be jealous of their NXT brethren. The developmental prospects are benefiting from sustained storytelling and a product that focuses more on wrestling. Meanwhile, the wrestlers on the main roster often engage in battles that lack any sort of narrative. The members of the Divas division at WWE proper have to be incensed with how much more time, respect and attention the NXT women get.   That appears to be the case. According to F4WOnline (h/t Wrestling Inc), there is currently some discontent among Superstars on the main roster over the folks at NXT getting to be a ...
The WrestleMania main event awaits the victor of Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns at Fastlane, a situation Bryan knows well. It was just a year ago that he and Triple H composed one of the greatest matches centered around a headlining spot at WWE's premier event. Win or lose, Bryan will have a chance to do it all again, to wring drama from high stakes. To top the best clashes of this kind, Bryan and Reigns will have to deliver a spectacular performance. Star power, intensity and suspense have powered a number of quality bouts designed to change the WrestleMania card. The following list ...

JTG Says Vince Is ‘Out of Touch,’ Claims Gimmick Was Stolen from Him

Posted by Chris Featherstone On February - 16 - 2015
In 2006, a 21-year-old Jayson Paul began his childhood dream of becoming a professional wrestler. Although he admitted to not watching sports as a kid, he was an avid wrestling fan due to having a mother who was passionate about the sport. His hard work and dedication to his dream led to an opportunity to become a WWE wrestler by way of the developmental territory at the time, Ohio Valley Wrestling. Soon after, he was called up to the main roster, along with his partner Shad Gaspard, and Cryme Tyme was born. I recently had the pleasure of interviewing JTG, as he ...
