WrestleMania 31 exceeded all expectations of the fans who have been following the build to the event, but the WWE’s booking still left a lot to be desired in certain matches and at different moments throughout the pay-per-view. From Sting taking an unfathomable loss to Triple H in his WWE debut to Damien Mizdow being robbed of his moment by The Big Show, there were several glaring weaknesses that will discount how this event is viewed in the long run. Here are the most disappointing moments from WrestleMania 31.     Sting Takes the Loss Most wrestling fans will look immediately to Sting taking a loss ...
On the heels of WrestleMania XXXI, World Wrestling Entertainment delivered an episode of Raw that continued to present Roman Reigns as the top challenger to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, while simultaneously spotlighting Brock Lesnar, selling him as the most dangerous and unpredictable force in the sport. Monday night, they both made their presences felt, with new heavyweight champion Seth Rollins the object of their fury. John Cena and Dean Ambrose tore the house down, former NXT stars Neville and Kalisto made their main-roster debuts and the Divas got more than 10 minutes to deliver a quality tag match. While the tag team ...
If WWE is committed to making Roman Reigns a top babyface in the company, then the best thing the company could have done was Seth Rollins cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase at WrestleMania 31. I made this point in passing earlier this morning, but allow me to examine it further. Chasing Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship will add depth to Reigns' character he's never had before and put him in an honest-to-goodness underdog scenario. WWE wanted so badly to make Reigns' win at the Royal Rumble something special. This was supposed to be what we go back and ...

Sheamus Returns to WWE Raw and Attacks Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler

Posted by Mike Chiari On March - 30 - 2015
Sheamus had been out of action since November due to multiple injuries, but the Celtic Warrior made his return Monday night on Raw one day after WrestleMania.  He attacked Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler in a clear heel turn. WWE provided pictures of Sheamus and his new hairstyle:  The 37-year-old Superstar was scheduled to be part of John Cena's team at Survivor Series; however, his health prevented him from competing, according to WWE.com: The Celtic Warrior suffered a left cervical neurapraxia (stinger in arm), bone spurring, narrowing of the spinal canal (spinal stenosis) and narrowing of the nerve canals (neuroforaminal) along with nerve ...

WWE Raw: Live Results, Reaction and Analysis for March 30

Posted by The Doctor Chris Mueller On March - 30 - 2015
Welcome to Bleacher Report's live WWE Raw coverage for March 30. Another WrestleMania is in the books, and there is going to be a lot of fallout Monday night. The biggest story coming out of the pay-per-view is Seth Rollins cashing in his Money in the Bank contract to become the new WWE world heavyweight champion. Rollins turned the main event into a Triple Threat, and he was able to pin Roman Reigns to win the title. You can bet Reigns will be looking for some form of retribution. Daniel Bryan and John Cena also walked away from the PPV with new titles, Triple H defeated ...
Roman Reigns had to swim through a sea of detractors on his way to the ring at WrestleMania 31. To many, he was on his way to winning a championship that he didn't deserve. By night's end, Reigns failed to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and he'll be better off for it. As soon as fans became clued in to the fact that Reigns was pegged as WWE's next top star, they immediately resented him. Daniel Bryan's return at the Royal Rumble only added fuel to that fire. But after shrewd booking during the main event and a surprise payoff, Reigns ...

Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt: Where Can Wyatt Go After Loss at WWE WrestleMania 31?

Posted by The Doctor Chris Mueller On March - 30 - 2015
Bray Wyatt lost to The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31. Since it is unlikely The Undertaker will be around for a rematch anytime soon, this leaves us with a big question: Where does Bray Wyatt go from here? Wyatt was the driving force behind this feud. Taker didn't make a single appearance leading up to the event. Any hype the feud had was built by Wyatt's incredible mic work and some creative segments. A lot of feuds from WrestleMania will almost certainly carry over to Extreme Rules, but this is one that can't. There are a few directions WWE can go in this situation. The ...
The WrestleMania stage is one of the biggest in wrestling, and Sunday’s 2015 edition of the pay-per-view featured several marquee rivalries that must have a second chapter at next month’s Extreme Rules. From Sting looking for redemption against Triple H to Brock Lesnar aiming to regain his WWE World Heavyweight Championship, next month’s PPV could potentially feature several high-profile rematches. Here are the WrestleMania 31 battles that deserve a rematch at Extreme Rules.   Sting vs. Triple H The most shocking moment of WrestleMania 31 was Triple H’s victory over Sting after interference from both DX and the NWO. The two men deserved a clean finish, ...
When Daniel Bryan defeated six other Superstars to become the brand new WWE intercontinental champion, he etched his name in the history books alongside some of the greatest in-ring workers to ever lace up a pair of boots. Those Superstars include Bret Hart, Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Roddy Piper and Pat Patterson, all of whom congratulated the new champion on his victory during a backstage segment in the middle of Sunday's WrestleMania 31 broadcast. Throughout its rich history, especially during the 1980s and into the first half of the '90s, the intercontinental title has been been the worker's championship. It was an ...
