WWE Raw Results: Biggest Winners, Losers and Moments from September 28

Posted by Erik Beaston On September - 29 - 2015
The September 28 episode of Raw featured WWE Creative limping into what should be a huge live event special from Madison Square Garden with an episode of Raw that could only be considered pedestrian at best. There was very little in the way of urgency, with only Brock Lesnar vs. Big Show receiving any sort of hype prior to this weekend's show. That there was no other match announced aside from The New Day defending the WWE Tag Team Championships against The Dudley Boyz only hurt the buzz for a show that has otherwise been promoted heavily on the WWE Network. The ...

WWE Raw Results: Winners, Grades, Reaction and Highlights from September 28

Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt saved Monday's episode of Raw. A night marked by ill-advised booking, a lack of anything special and a general malaise got a cure in the form of two rivals creating a cyclone of violence together. WWE's mishandling of the Divas revolution continued. Big Show was all over the show, not convincing the audience that he is capable of taking down Brock Lesnar. Matches ended too quickly, with narratives being rushed. Then came Reigns and Wyatt looking to prove that it made sense for their battle to main-event Raw. It did. Their feud took a giant step forward on ...

A struggling, stumbling Seth Rollins enters the last WWE Raw of September with both a monster and a corporate tyrant hunting him down. As WWE builds toward Hell in a Cell, Rollins finds himself outnumbered against two rivals, just as he did both heading into and during Night of Champions. Only this time, he has to fend off one man's twin personae. In telling the story of Rollins colliding with Kane's two alter egos, can WWE finally stop piling the losses on him? Rollins lost to Cena at Night of Champions and then again on last Monday's Raw. A distraction from Kane led to ...

Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker: Epic Finale Undermines Growth of Young Roster

Posted by Erik Beaston On September - 28 - 2015
When Undertaker and Brock Lesnar step inside the steel cage for Hell in a Cell on October 25, it will not only symbolize the latest chapter in their epic rivalry but also the continued undermining of the growth of WWE's young roster. If there was ever a program that needed to wrap up inside Hell in a Cell, it is this hate-fueled one between two of the greatest Superstars in WWE history. The fact that this feud exists in 2015, with a WWE roster full of young and hungry performers all looking to ascend to the top of the industry, is the ...

Posted by Erik Beaston On September - 28 - 2015
Have you ever watched a WWE pay-per-view, seen a certain match or angle unfold and found yourself asking, "huh?!" You are not alone. Vince McMahon's major extravaganzas have been home to some mindbogglingly bad booking decisions, and Hell in a Cell is no different.
