"The King of the Night" Kenny King hasn't been crowned world champion yet in TNA, but that hasn't stopped him from being viewed as royalty Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Impact Wrestling. That's because the soon-to-be 34-year-old has been among the most consistently entertaining performers in all of professional wrestling since returning to TNA in 2012.   On Wednesday, June 10, TNA will air Destination X, which will feature King wrestling in one of three Triple Threat qualifying matches to earn an X-Division title shot. Earlier this week, he spoke with Ring Rust Radio (quotes courtesy of the News of Delaware County’s Joe Arcidiacono) to discuss his ...

Nothing compares to the experience of a live WWE event, especially one of the magnitude of the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. WWE Survivor Series 2011: WWE Needs More Traditional Survivor Series Matches

Posted by Brandon Galvin On November - 19 - 2011
WWE pay-per-view events are quickly losing their appeal. Vince McMahon’s conglomerate produces too many and so many pay-per-views that they all become a blur at this point. Fans yearn for the days when the booking team had ample time to create compelling storylines, instead of just throwing together matches in the week leading up to event, like currently. Most WWE pay-per-views feel like exaggerated RAW or SmackDown events, generally because fans are greeted to the same match right before or after the event. At this point, there is no reason for fans to “pay-per-view” unless there is a grand stipulation. McMahon already ...
Wade Barrett is the next great heel superstar in the WWE. That is, as long as WWE allows him to be. The only way to get Barrett on the right track is to have him pin Randy Orton and lead his team to victory at Survivor Series 2011. Barrett started off with a phenomenal bang with the Nexus, but has since been an afterthought on WWE programming. We all thought he was going to rise the ranks against after defeating Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam, but he was thrust back into obscurity on the second-rate SmackDown brand. Barrett has finally emerged ...

WWE Survivor Series 2011: WWE Is Destroying Zack Ryder with PPV Absence

Posted by Brandon Galvin On November - 19 - 2011
WWE is quickly destroying one of their most popular wrestlers, Zack Ryder, by deliberately excluding him from arguably the second biggest pay-per-view extravaganza of the year. Survivor Series 2011 is a star-studded event that features the return of The Rock to in-ring action, yet somehow, Ryder inexplicably doesn’t have a match? Blasphemy. Ryder is essential to WWE’s midcard and deserves proper placement at the event after his remarkable ability to take his "Jersey Shore" gimmick to the next level. The fans yearn to see him throughout their show, as evident by the constant cheers and echoing of his "Woo Woo ...
