In a move that is sir to stir up the Internet, John Cena was drafted back to RAW in the 2011 WWE Draft. The move doesn’t make sense in terms of a standard draft, as the PWTorch will probably belly ache about given the fact that they think pro wrestling is real, but it does makes sense in terms of the fact that the SmackDown roster was absolutely loaded prior to Cena being re-drafted.

The move to draft Cena could have very well been Vince McMahon changing his mind once again before the show went off the air, but both rosters seemed to be pretty balanced going into Extreme Rules which was WWE’s plan going in.

This draft pick as an NBA Playoff Team: Chicago Bulls

On April 26, 2010, the WWE landscape would be changed like never before. Or did it?

In arguably the worst Draft events to ever take place in WWE history, the night consisted of eight Superstars and Divas swapping nights in an attempt to recreate magic the previous years had set before. It wasn’t able to reach its highest potential by a long shot, and its lackluster results would certainly pay the price as 2010 progressed.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: having Superstars bounce from brand to brand lessens the value of the Draft, and that was a major factor as to why the WWE 2010 Draft can be deemed so forgettable. Maybe it was the downfall of ECW two months prior, or maybe the significant loss of top stars before the annual event due to injury or retirement, but the WWE can basically blame itself for its poor amount of attention.

As I look back at last year’s event, I will provide analysis on each victim that switched shows in the main draft on RAW that fateful Monday, and the futures that awaited them. Since this specific Draft set very low standards, I can guarantee this year’s annual event will be a huge step up and improvement.

Would John Cena Benefit From A Change Of Scenery?

With the WWE draft taking place this Monday and teases of John Cena possibly going to Smackdown, it made me wonder if Cena can still be effective on Raw.

Cena is by far the biggest star that WWE has. Whether you like him or not, no one elicits a reaction like he does. But there has been a glaring hole in his game for most of the last three years or so. He doesn’t seem to take anything seriously.

When I first heard the teases of Cena going to Smackdown, I immediately thought that would be a smart move. Perhaps a fresh start on a new show would be just the thing that he needs to recharge his batteries. The writing could get better and, for the first time in a long time, Cena could be a big deal again.

Must Read: The Top 25 Catchphrases In WWE

But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that Smackdown isn’t the right move. The only thing that is going to make Cena a compelling character to watch again is Cena.

He is in a position that no one else is in – with the possible exception of Randy Orton. He can voice his opinion. He can tell the writers when an idea is dumb or not going to work. It seems like he is afraid to do it, or reluctant. Whatever the problem has been, Cena hasn’t tried to fix it.

There is no need for WWE to move Cena to Smackdown in order to try and get rid of the “Boo’s” that he hears on a weekly basis. If they want Cena to be cheered by everyone, make him a likable character. Don’t make a move for the sake of making a move.

Cena has the charisma to be cheered. He just needs the right material to help him do it.

The WWE draft is just around the corner, and it could be that time for Randy Orton to switch brands.

The WWE is scrambling to fill the void that Edge left when he abruptly retired. Now, the WWE needs a replacement, and there might not be a better replacement for Edge than Randy Orton.

He’s very much cut from the same cloth. Both he and Edge work well as a face, but much better as a heel. The question is if the WWE feels comfortable taking their second-biggest face off their flagship show.

But if the WWE wants to have a viable product on more than just RAW, moving Orton to Smackdown makes sense. Plus, it’s a way to mix up the talent and create interesting storylines. The problem with doing a show every week without break is that it’s easy for characters to get stale, so the best thing that can be done is moving them around.

This might be the time for Orton to shine on another stage. Proving he can carry Smackdown might be just what he and WWE need.

I’m going to bring you all your WWE news. Feel free to leave comments as well.

Let’s get this show on the road.

As you all know, Edge is now retired and he will no longer grace the fans with his presence in the ring. When we think about him, it's natural to think about the WWE Hall Of Fame.

In his case, it's not a matter of "if" but of "when" he will be inducted. There is no doubt he will make it as soon as Vince McMahon thinks it's the best time.

But, just in case there is one person on this planet who has any doubt, I made the following slideshow.

I have seen a lot of articles about The Rated-R Superstar on B/R; it goes from tributes to lists of his greatest moments. I started to work on the current article as soon as I heard the shocking news of his retirement, but I had to put it on hold.

Fortunately, what I had in mind was a little bit different from what I saw so far so I decided to give it a go anyway to continue.

The following is a tribute to The Ultimate Opportunist, a wrestler who has put his body on the line for the last 13 years. He was not as flashy as some other legends, but it is probably what made so many fans loving him so much, no matter the storyline he was put in.

I came up with 20 reasons that justify his induction into the Hall Of Fame sooner rather than later, as the leader of his class. So, with no more introduction, let's see why Edge is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.

Begin Slideshow

WWE Raw dropped a bomb last night. Reigning world heavyweight champion Edge has announced his retirement due to injuries.

Edge’s retirement is a huge blow to the WWE. He was one of the most bankable performers and draws.

The way it came out of the blue, it has left all the fans searching for a reaction. There is still a lingering skepticism regarding his announcement, but every passing moment has certified its legitimacy.

Therefore it is a moment to pay homage to a star who gave us so many memories and entertained us for more than a decade.

If at all, the announcement turns out to be a work, then I will fall on my face for writing this tribute so hastily, but for once, I would rejoice in the fall.

The immortal phrase "the boyhood dream has come true" has always been used for HBK Shawn Michaels. If ever there has been another person who has lived this line, then it is Edge.

It is a well-known fact that Edge attended WrestleMania VI. It was the moment when he decided instantaneously that he would become a pro wrestler just like his hero, Hulk Hogan. Today, we all know that he did not just dream—he actually lived the dream.

It was a dream that put his body on the line. It was a dream that tested his mind and resilience every single night. But he rose above all the hurdles, he worked hard and accomplished more than probably every other star of his generation.

His career is no less than a storybook journey. It is a journey that has every ingredient of a god-written script. It has highs and it has its lows. It has a lot of controversies. It has some obscurity and above all, it has fitting glory.

Edge started his career as a gloomy psycho who would roam around on streets and attack strangers. Then he became a vampire. He teamed up with his longtime best friend Christian, which would be one of the best tag teams of all time—E&C Connection.

In the coming decade he did everything that is possible and achieved almost everything that is there. From winning Royal Rumble and King of the Ring to winning dozens of championships, he won it all. From capturing Money in the Bank to headlining WrestleMania with the Undertaker, he did it all. He engaged in amazing rivalries with the likes of Batista and the Undertaker.

But the special mention goes to his rivalry with John Cena. Both would have been incomplete without each other. Perhaps he was the quintessential Lex Luthor for Superman John Cena.

Amongst other things, he was part of a controversial rivalry along with Matt Hardy. He performed a live sex celebration on national television with ex-flame Lita. He also became the first on-screen boyfriend of Vicki Guerrero and made her a big heel in the process.

If he missed out on anything, it was that he never won a world/WWE championship at WrestleMania as a challenger, and he never won ECW championship. He would definitely miss the former feat and is unlikely to regret the latter.

On such a backdrop, it is strange that for all his incredible achievements, Edge did not exactly have the recognition he deserved. Probably it was because of some meaningless championship reigns. But it never really justified the case.

Edge never made the headlines like Triple H or John Cena. He never had the adulation that HBK and Taker have. His technical acumen was never revered as much as Chris Jericho or Kurt Angle. His mic work was never regarded in the same leagues as those of the greats of that art.

Hence, people often wondered about the list of his tremendous accomplishments. To just put it in a perspective, he has more accolades than the HBK and the Undertaker. What was the factor that made it possible?

Answers are several here. He was always there in the top 10 of every single category mentioned above. He was perhaps one of the most all-around performers of his generation. He had an element of every single such factor in him.

Secondly, he was extremely loyal. It is something that Vince admires more than anything else. He never left WWE except for injuries. His success would not have come without his loyalty.

He also had an "it" factor. That "it" included the flare of a dream. "It" included an attitude that takes you high, and "it" included undying passion that keeps you on top. Without his drive and passion, Edge would have never been where he is.

Above all, he had tremendous gratitude for the fans and for the business that gave him an "edge" over others. It never mattered if he was injured or tired; when you had Edge in the ring, it was certain that you will get a good match or a segment.

He himself summed it up beautifully on Raw when he said that in spite of the steel plate in his neck, in spite of rods in his teeth, he came out there every time and gave his all to entertain us—the fans.

Losing such a performer is a great loss for WWE. Edge personified new WWE as much as John Cena has done, but probably in a different way. He was an outstanding entertainer with great wrestling skills. He was one of the most important parts of the puzzle called WWE’s policy in the last decade.

He fit well in Attitude Era, he was excellent during Ruthless Aggression and without him PG era would have been poorer. It is not something many WWE stars can boast of.

However, it is a greater loss for fans, especially for older fans. Fans always have a better connection with performers they have followed from childhood.

These superstars are bridges between the two generations of fans and performers. These superstars hold our hand and take us through the journey of our fandom. Edge was one such superstar. He was one of the last great stars from the days of Attitude Era. He gave us the same comfort that HBK, Taker and Triple H did.

With time, we have lost many bridges to our better days and fond memories. We could relieve some dear moments, when these stars were there. We are losing this luxury faster than ever and the departure of Edge has expedited the process.

With Edge gone, we are now left with sparse appearances of the Undertaker and Triple H. These guys were part of our life for the better part of our lives. Losing them is quite akin to losing a part of ourselves and our joy. The void and the emptiness we feel is beyond words. It is something we dreaded the most and it is something that is upon us.

One thing, however, is certain: Edge’s story will remain an inspiration for all. A boy from Canada without any background in the business chased his dream like a stallion. He did not take the shortcuts. It was his passion and devotion that took him where he truly belongs. When opportunities came along, he turned them into the milestones.

This story is a story of a true superstar, of an ultimate opportunist.

We thank you, Edge, for all the memories and those wonderful 14 years.

Read more Pro Wrestling news on BleacherReport.com

WrestleMania 27 is in four days, and the anticipation for the biggest wrestling event of the year is buzzing.

Today, there will be a WrestleMania press conference in New York City at 12:30 EST. All the big stars of the show will be there to promote the event, including the Rock, Snooki, John Cena, Edge and Triple H.

In addition to that, there is still some last-second information you need to know about. Christian, who has been heavily involved with the Edge-Alberto Del Rio feud, is going to be in Edge’s corner for the world title match. He could end up costing Edge the title, if the tea leaves that I am reading are in fact true.

Triple H and the Undertaker are going to have a special guest, either sitting at ringside or running in from the back at some point. If you watched the angle on Raw, you know that I am talking about Shawn Michaels.

The biggest thing on the entire show will be what happens with the Rock, the Miz and John Cena in the WWE championship match. It’s ironic that this is the biggest angle on the show has nothing to do with the actual match between Cena and Miz.

We will give you the latest news heading into WrestleMania 27 this Sunday.

Depending on who you ask, the massive clash between Triple H and The Undertaker may be the most important match on Sunday’s WrestleMania card.

Will Triple H once again fall victim to The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak (they did fight at WrestleMania X-Seven, though WWE has done everything to pretend that match never happened) or will The Game, the man with a hundred different accolades decorating his historic career, add the ultimate prize to his résumé?

Nothing short of an Undertaker victory is acceptable Sunday night in Atlanta.

Before I begin my argument, I will admit this much: I am a massive Undertaker mark. I watched WrestleMania XXV solely for his first match against Shawn Michaels, and he is the one of two superstars I will mark out for.

However, there are five reasons The Deadman’s streak must live on forever.

The Streak is the Only Thing The Undertaker Has

It sounds a bit shocking, but for his 20-plus years with the promotion, The Undertaker doesn’t really have anything, other than The Streak, to set him apart from the other super-duperstars of the last quarter century.

Hulk Hogan has Hulkamania. The Rock is The People’s Champion. Stone Cold Steve Austin has Austin 3:16.

And The Undertaker has The Streak.

The Undertaker could have left WWE during the Monday Night Wars. He could have complained about the lack of world title matches he was getting in the mid- and late-’90s. He could have sulked his way through terrible WrestleMania feuds with King Kong Bundy and Giant Gonzalez.

But he didn’t. He stayed true to the company, quietly carrying the WWE banner through good times and bad.

There’s a reason he carries so much clout in the locker room. More than Hogan or anyone else, The Undertaker is WWE. He has certainly earned his moniker as the conscience of WWE.

And so is The Streak.

The Streak is Just As Important to the WWE as it is to the Undertaker Character

The Streak wasn’t even made a focal point until recently. It became what it is now because of recent years, which saw the likes of Shawn Michaels, Edge and Batista fail to end The Streak.

Now more than ever, The Streak itself has become a massive WrestleMania draw. In the midst of WWE’s youth movement, any guaranteed draw is a welcome one.

Thousands of people who do not purchase pay-per-views throw down the extra cash on their monthly cable bill just to see if The Undertaker will finally lose on The Grandest Stage of Them All. If The Streak were to end, those tuning in just to see The Deadman compete amidst the brightest spotlight in professional wrestling would find another place to spend that money.

Vinny Mac loves his cash. And if he knows what’s good for him, he won’t sign off on the end of The Streak, if only for the sake of buyrates and ratings.

The Streak is Pro Wrestling’s Holy Grail

The Streak has become something more resembling a myth than anything else. Fans and superstars speak of it as something that exists on a different plane than the rest of the WWE Universe.

People tune in to WrestleMania just to see The Streak challenged. Signs litter the arena from February to April every year supporting the continuation, or the end, of The Streak.

The Mirror even named The Streak as the seventh greatest streak in sports history.

Its mystique makes The Streak part of what it has become in the present. If it wasn’t so important to so many members of the WWE Universe, it would just be a footnote in the record books of WWE history.

The Undertaker is the most mysterious, mystical figure to ever grace a WWE ring. It is only fitting that he own The Streak until he disappears into the darkness forever.

Triple H Doesn’t Need The Win

Thirteen world championship reigns. Five Intercontinental title reigns. 1997 King of the Ring. 2002 Royal Rumble winner.

Simply put, Triple H has as good of a WWE résumé as anyone who has set foot in Vince McMahon’s ring.

What does he have to gain from ending The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak?

Triple H is already going down as one of the best to ever enter the squared circle. He’s already in the same rarefied air as Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, and Bret Hart. He just doesn’t have anything to gain by ending The Streak.

Sure, the win would put The Game atop the heap as, arguably, the most decorated professional wrestler ever. But if you’re making that point, I ask you to consider the following point.

Ending The Streak Will Do Much More Harm Than Good

Once upon a time, a sign famously read, “If Cena wins, we riot.”

The sentiment won’t be far off should The Streak ever end.

The 20-somethings who became WWE fans during the Attitude Era have become attached to certain wrestlers. No superstar has garnered more adoration by that demographic than The Undertaker.

The demographic that vehemently boos John Cena may turn on WWE forever if The Undertaker’s shoulders are ever on the mat for a three-count at WrestleMania.

The argument is often made that The Streak should be ended by a young up-and-coming heel, to put them over in a massive way. That argument is shallow, at best.

There are about a hundred ways to put a new superstar over without spitting on the legacy of The Undertaker. Money in the Bank exists for that very reason.

I’m not saying the veterans shouldn’t be looking out for the future. There is something to be said for the vets putting over new talent on their way out the door.

But The Streak is different. Period. It is WWE history. It is professional wrestling’s one unattainable accolade.

And it should stay that way.

Last week I was poised to take a close look at the TNA Genesis PPV during which (to nobody's surprise) coat tail riding brother Matt Hardy made his TNA PPV debut against one seemingly "fallen down the food chain" RVD. I believe the premise going in was that RVD was going to face a mystery opponent. Evidently RVD had been attempting to call out Jeff Hardy in the process I believe he had been generically using words like "I want Hardy". So the setup appeared pretty clear. The switcheroo was being teased, and then it was in fact delivered.

Now for weeks we waited with baited breath under the no compete clause clock. We've listened to Matt Hardy make claims, statements, and generally do his best to try and get us to invest our interest in this "brand" he calls Matt Hardy. He's not a name, he's a brand. Ok than. There were videos and tweets galore which were his attempts to keep himself on the minds of the wrestling community. I confess, he typically DOES keep himself on the radar, but not perhaps in a very constructive or positive way (although he might argue differently). Kind of like how bad kids are able to get parents attention using negative means. They get their attention alright, but not in a positive way.

So I was actually somewhat curious to watch this PPV, if for no other reason than to see this new Matt Hardy. So if you were to listen to HIS description of where he was going to go with his character and what he was going to do you would think there would be some major change involved. He would suggest re-invention of himself, take the world by storm, those types of statements. So after RVD took the ring I was expecting a new look, new music, new walk, new talk, new moves, the whole nine yards. I mean, he DID say he was going to re-invent himself and the wrestling business.

Yet the only thing that he seemed to have changed was his music (copyright reason's I am sure), and his hair (and even THAT doesn't look all that different). Oh, and he's now wearing a peeping tom trench coat for some reason (is he the Undertaker in training)?. Maybe he is sporting it in case it magically rains in the impact zone (or maybe there is enough illegal dope being smoked in the back he's worried about the sprinkler system spontaneously being set of).

Same old Matt Hardy, same unexplainable 3 finger salute, same pasty fat white gut (look, if you are going to be in a business where you run around almost naked, then you will in part be judged by the way you look, live with it), just more of the same. Heck, I don't think the guy even changed his wrestling tights. In fact, he may have been wearing those same grey and blue camouflage pants for the last 3 months straight. Hard to say. Bottom line, same old same old.

On a side note, poor RVD has gone from debuting in TNA with a 12 second (give or take) win over the Icon Sting (sans beatdown afterwards), to world heavyweight champ, to guy that was effectively gutted by Abyss and his "little friend" Janice, to temporary to keep from using up all his contracted dates for the year, to "you are going to take the loss tonight because you are taking on Jeff Hardy's brother, and he's in with us right now" guy.

And I think everyone gets that RVD's got an out. There is controversy due first to Matt's arm being under the rope (and the ref stopping the count), and subsequently the leg of RVD was under the rope (but the ref counted the 1-2-3). But does this match really do much for either guy? RVD just solidifies what appears to be his mid card status and Matt Hardy has a platform to once again "entertain" us with his antics. Jeff is happy his brother has a job, and he has a confident to talk to during what might be some dark times for the former TNA champ.

Now if creative had a history of going somewhere "smart" with this type of referee controversy, I might be interested in watching to see where it went. But history shows that TNA's angles become so grossly convoluted and hard to follow that there will likely be no advancement of the ref "angle" and subsequent outcome of the match, and it will have been just another 5 minutes worth of advance booking from the guys in the back that will just stop cold.

It would not shock me in the least to next see a clip of Matt Hardy and RVD riding on the merry go round on Long Island together, shortly followed by them jointly launching a mbtdaeWo (Most Beat To Death Angle Ever World Order) faction.

There was something else that occurred that I found sort of interesting. And it reminded me of the perception of the big two companies (WWE and I loosely call TNA the second of the big two) and what separates the two.

With the Matt Hardy debut, I don't know how everyone ELSE felt, but it seemed to be coming a mile away. When Matt Hardy was announced as the mystery opponent, it felt a little less than mysterious, and quite stale. Not only did it NOT seem mysterious, his presence at the arena earlier in the day had already been announced online by the dirt sheets. It's like TNA didn't want to make the effort to hide this guy from sight. Which certainly can be done, and the machine proved that just recently.

I refer to the WWE who had a Monday Night surprise of their own. They seemed to take much more care in keeping a big name in the locker room hush hush. Shawn Michaels was being announced as the first of the class of 2011 for the WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony (which is a joint venture on the same weekend as Wrestlemania). Jerry (the REAL King) Lawlor made the introduction for Shawn's being selected to this elite shrine and the fans were popping pretty much solely for the video.

And then the music hit, and out came Shawn Michaels himself. And while I don't think it came across as well on tv (as reports from those who were in attendance have suggested), the roof DID in fact pretty much did come off the building. And after scouring the net looking for any advance notification of his presence, I came up empty handed.

So in essence, the surprise opponent in the form of Matt Hardy it had all the markings of another over hyped TNA announcement that didn't pan out to be much of anything at all. Anyone Remember THEY? In fact, I am hearing more on THEY again (early suspicions lean towards the Main Event Mafia with the rumour of Scott Steiners return).

Can they save this guy from himself? That's anyone's guess. But if what he has shown us thus far is any indication of what is coming, I can't say as I think I'll be tuning in to watch me any TNA action just to catch a glimpse of Matt Hardy.

Switching gears a bit… I finally got around to watching RAW from a couple of weeks back. Did you ever see a match, segment or interview and think "wow, if they would have done X it would have been SO much better" or "had they done Y, it would have elevated wrestler X SO much more?" Sometimes there are incidents that occur and you walk away wondering why creative didn't go in another direction. This show contained one of those moments.

So the segment was as follows (for anyone who didn't see it). CM Punk, now seemingly the new leader of The Nexus, felt compelled to "re-initiate" everyone in the group. So they had a bit where the members of Nexus beat up Mr. Perfect Jr, then another where they whip Husky Harris.

So they finally reach a point where the segment involves Punk, Slater, and Gabriel (who is definitely starting to grow on me). So Punk gives the two of them the ever famous Kendo sticks and tells them to beat the crap out of each other with them.

They of course look at him puzzled, thinking he must be crazy. Those are some evil intentions. It becomes a prolonged stare down. They do this for a period of time, gripping the sticks tighter and tighter as they stalk each other with their eyes. The look on at least Gabriel's face is one that looks like he's partially wondering if he should do it, while the other half of him is wondering why would he do something like that in the first place.

Eventually after a lot of posturing they both glance at Punk as if they are both considering "you know what, maybe we should lay a beating on YOU instead." Punk says something like "oh really, well go ahead." They again repeat the posturing with their eyes. It seems to be going on forever yet isn't growing stale. And of course they eventually back down, drop the canes, and walk away, now FORMER members of Nexus (which I confess, I didn't see coming).

But what I wanted to focus on was Justin Gabriel. Heath Slater did his best. I am sure the guy tries. But he didn't meet Gabriel in the "cutting a good promo" effort. I SO wanted him to eventually go, "ah, screw this", and just lay a HUGE beating on Punk. It played out in my mind at light speed, and I could see him hammering Punk. I could see Slater looking around yelling NOT to referee's, and NOT to other Nexus members, but to random names of guys to come in.

Sort of like "holy crap, Gabriel has snapped". I could picture the shock and horror on Slater's face as if to say "oh my gosh what just happened." Yet as it played out, it did the usual. It simply cemented one of the already popular and over superstars and made the othersappear average and subservient.

I talked about Punk last weak and wondered what effect he was going to have on the Nexus. And I stand by those thought's. I just saw this as a HUGE opportunity lost. And in an era where we continue to refer to the influx (or lack thereof) of a youth movement, I find it sort of unfortunate that again there was a chance to put over someone other than the usual list of candidates (Cena, Mysterio, Orton, etc…) and it was totally missed.

The outcome of such a move could have been incredible. Not only would there be tension amongst Barrett and Punk (unless Punk has effectively stamped out Wade at this point), but there would be conflict with Gabriel too (assuming Gabriel just flipped out and tried to make amends for it). For those who can remember, or who are interested enough to look it up, prior to Brian Pillman's tragic death back in 1997 at the young age of 35 (I'm 36, so I say 35 is young), he was making a fantastic living at working a gimmick that included him being a "loose cannon".

With guys like Shawn having retired, and HHH moving more into a creative backstage hand, I'm stating the obvious in that WWE needs to continue broadening it's base of viable main event level wrestlers. So the Nexus has been in a prominent storyline for some time now, so you would have expected a sustained push for a few of the guys by now. Yet this has not come to pass.

The other missed opportunity came on the 1/17 episode of RAW. There was a HUGE miss in my opinion. When Batista left the WWE, and during the times when he was at his best, he was a monster. With Batista gone, there has really been that kind of gap in the WWE. They test drove that Jackson someone or other with Tyson Kidd recently and eventually sent that guy back to the junior circuit because he was evidently too green.

So Monday night, during an interestingly booked RAW, we found ourselves watching a Punk vs. Cena match. As we're nearing the end, Batista's twin emerges and jumps to the apron. He kicks some guy to the floor and through the ropes he comes. At the time I think Cena was face down reeling from punishment. So this huge monster looking dude gets into a short stare down at which point BOOT to the head for Punk for the DQ.

Punk goes down, and up comes Cena. And what does he do to Cena? Sideslam a la Rock or Bossman! And at that point, things could have been headed in the right direction. But they took a turn for the worse. Punk is back up with his Nexus pals and has a second stare down with Mason Ryan (the Batista twin). And of all things, doesn't he kneel down before Punk, stretch his arm out, and allow him to be branded with the Nexus armband.

I can't be the only person who thought they butchered that segment. Can you imagine if he had come in and booted Punk, took care of Cena, and then just walked out?? It would have been huge! Mason Ryan would have been instantly catapulted into at least the mid card, maybe higher! He could have just retreated to the dressing room not saying a word. Almost "Goldberg'esk". It would have been awesome. Commentators would have had a field day speculating about who this guy was, what were his motives, and what the heck just happened.

Instead, we had Punk, who is already over, take a wrestler who could have gotten a significant jump start in his WWE career and make him his man-bitch. Now to be clear, as I have stated many times. Punk is taking whatever he is being given, and is doing a great job with it. He's coming up with some real amusing crazy faces and can conjure the look of a deranged lunatic at a moments notice. So don't blame Punk.

This was another ball drop by creative. They may have already had months of planning on paper, but when Ryan took the ring, he should have taken out the big two, and left. Now not only would Punk and Cena need to be worrying about each other, but EVERYONE on the roster would not be concerned about the monster that just ate some of our big names for breakfast.

Off to the showers. Poor Patriots. Perhaps Brady should have played in his Uggs.
