WWE 12: Randy ‘Macho Man’ Savage’s Inclusion Makes New Video Game a Must-Buy

Posted by Mike Chiari On November - 19 - 2011

As if there wasn't already enough hype surrounding the release of the WWE 12 video game on Nov. 22, the recently announced inclusion of Randy "Macho Man" Savage as downloadable content makes this game a must-buy for any past and present fan of the WWE.Savage had been absent from WWE video games for years prior to WWE All-Stars this year. It was rumored that the late Savage, who died of a heart attack in May, ...

The Two Sheds Review: Looking Back at Wrestlemania VI

Posted by Julian Radbourne On March - 12 - 2011ADD COMMENTS
April 1st, 1990: It was only the second time I’d seen the grand-daddy of them all and the first time I saw it live as Hulk Hogan squared off against the Ultimate Warrior at Wrestlemania VI. But is it still as good as I remember it? That’s what I’m hoping to find out with this retro review. The show began with Koko B. Ware taking on the man who gave his entrance music to Val Venis, the Model himself, Rick Martel.A quick opener saw the Birdman pull off some good moves early on, before Martel took control and quickly locked in ...
As it stands, I have now been watching WWE programming for just over two years. I remember the very first episode I saw was of RAW, when Randy Orton punted Vince McMahon in the skull. The intensity, characters and passion of the stars drew me in and got me addicted to this frantic and exciting phenomenon. Already I have seen numerous great matches but personally I find what really sells the story is the characters involved.Their character development, reasons and thoughts really add a personal touch to their feuds which is why the best ones have both great matches and talking instead ...

Ring of Honor World: Exclusive Interview with TJ Perkins

Posted by Steven Coney On March - 12 - 2011ADD COMMENTS
Good evening Bleachers! I used to post on here quite regularly, but to be quite frank, I became disillusioned with some of the content we were being advised to write. Add this to the fact that both WWE and TNA no longer interest me enough to make me want to write about them. After a brief break from writing, I decided that I should start my own website. So I did. I started a website dedicated to the best wrestling on the planet—Ring of Honor (ROH). I started it, and just a month later, ROH World already secured a partnership ...

WWE Breaking News: Top Superstar Requests His Release with a Threat?

Posted by Graham 'GSM' Matthews On March - 12 - 2011ADD COMMENTS
In a shocking turn of events, former World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio has requested his contractual release from WWE along with a threat of his own for WWE management. Here's the full story as provided by wrestlenewz.com: "We’re still waiting on more details to come in but Rey Mysterio recently requested his release from WWE and told officials that he would retire if they did not grant his wish. We don’t know when Rey made the request but do know it was before WWE’s big Sin Cara press conference two weeks ago in Mexico. Stay tuned for more."   GSM's Thoughts Am I sensing ...

Randy Orton: Shedding the Years of Skin on the Viper

Posted by Micheal Robinson On March - 12 - 2011ADD COMMENTS
Since 2002, Randy Orton has been an active wrestler in the WWE. The third-generation superstar is son to "Cowboy" Bob Orton, and grandson to Bob Orton, Sr. Needless to say, wrestling is in his blood, or, in Randy's case, in his venom. In my recent Top 100 WWE Wrestlers of All-Time, I ranked Orton No. 19 overall. In his nine-year career, Orton has held four different titles, including the WWE Championship six times. No titles were more important then that first one at Summerslam 2004, winning the World Heavyweight Championship from Chris Benoit. At age 24, Orton became the youngest ...

My Favorite WWE Entrance Themes of All Time

Posted by Christy Barber On March - 12 - 2011ADD COMMENTS
If there was one thing that really gets me excited about wrestling, it's the entrance songs. Whether it was hearing the glass breaking or hearing "if ya smellll," I always got pumped.A great entrance song describes the wrestler's character. Hearing Stone Cold's entrance let you know that the guy coming down the ramp  was one bmf. When you hear "if ya smellll," you think of some really pretentious jerk that you can't help but like. Great entrance songs are timeless and evoke a loud reaction from the fans.Begin Slideshow

WWE: Is Hulk Hogan About to Leave TNA and Return To the WWE?

Posted by Cec Van Galini On March - 12 - 2011ADD COMMENTS
Reports coming out of Florida this week have suggested that, if asked, Hulk Hogan would be agreeable to a return to the WWE. The source is Honky Tonk Man, whose motives are, at the very least, questionable, but given that Hogan's contract situation is as yet undecided and that ratings have not improved under his tenure, could he be about to leave TNA? It would seem highly unlikely that the WWE would ever use the Hulkster again, given his commitment to TNA for the past year. Also given his back injuries, it's highly unlikely Hogan will ever wrestle again. So, is this merely ...
