WWE NXT Canceled? Believe It
On April - 14 - 2010ADD COMMENTS
The times, they are a changin' once again for the WWE. As reported Monday evening, World Wrestling Entertainment struck a major deal with NBC Universal's SyFy Network to bring the network television pioneer Friday Night SmackDown! on board this October.
As more details trickle down, several reports are confirming that the WWE will accept a two-year offer from SyFy starting this October with an option for a third. The network will also be shelling out $30 million, reportedly $10 million more than the WWE currently makes in syndication with MyNetworkTV.
Though the deal has been met with widespread backlash and disgust, it ...
Maria Kanellis Speaks About WWE Experience
On April - 13 - 20101 COMMENT
In a recent article on Diva-Dirt.com, Maria Kanellis speaks on her WWE experience.
She talks about the other divas, the past divas and the lack of television time given to the women's division.
First Maria talks about working with Michelle McCool.
She says McCool would be the contender to hold up the Women's Division in WWE. She says McCool was very laid back and was willing to teach. Maria describes her matches with McCool, as the best in her WWE run.
Another topic Maria talks about is the lack of television time the women's division is given.
Kanellis states that if and only WWE would give divas ...
Mis Dos Centavos: First Thoughts on the TNA Reaction Show
On April - 13 - 2010ADD COMMENTS
(If you're wondering what "Mis dos centavos" stands for, it's "My two cents" in Spanish). Hello, fellow B/R wrestling fans. Today in this relatively short piece, I am giving my first thoughts on the TNA Reaction show. To be honest, I didn't have high hopes for the show and I initially thought that this would be a sister show to TNA Impact!; an attempt to help the already overflowed talent pool that is there. But I was wrong. From what I've read, the show instead presents us with a "never before seen look at TNA Wrestling ...
WWE Draft Preview: Old Faces in New Places, Part Three
On April - 13 - 2010ADD COMMENTS
Leading up to the highly anticipated WWE Draft in two weeks, I will be highlighting six moves I believe WWE creative should make—whether it be during or after the draft.
Part Two of the series focused on Dolph Ziggler's potential move to Raw. In a move that now seems relatively unlikely considering his title shot at Extreme Rules, Randy Orton was to be the target of the new-to-Raw Ziggler. A long Ziggler-Orton feud could establish Ziggler in the same way Sheamus is becoming established in his feud with Triple H.
Part Three sees another Smackdown superstar head to the greener pastures of Monday ...

Breaking News: WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown Moving To SyFy
On April - 13 - 2010ADD COMMENTS
While I am not the first to break the news that WWE's weekly series on MyNetwork TV known as Friday Night SmackDown will be moving to SyFy, I do have an opinion on it. And some will like it, yet others will hate it; but hey, you can't please them all.
I think this could be the best move as far as TV goes for the WWE since WWE RAW moved from Spike TV to USA Network. While RAW was still doing well on Spike, they have had so much more success on USA, and the same will be the case ...
Will Brock Lesnar Guest Host Monday Night Raw?
On April - 13 - 2010ADD COMMENTS
In a recent interview with UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, Jon Robinson of ESPN.com asked him about a possible return to the WWE.
Jon Robinson: Do you ever see yourself going back to WWE as maybe a celebrity guest host of Raw for one night only?
Brock Lesnar: I wouldn't be opposed to it. I'm still focused on my fighting right now, but if the opportunity arose some day, I'd never say never.
Considering Vince McMahon's negative statements and feelings about the UFC, could he and Dana White come to a happy medium and allow Brock to appear on WWE programming?
I'm sure WWE fans ...
Breaking News: WWE SmackDown! Moving to the SyFy Network
On April - 13 - 2010ADD COMMENTS
After a decade on network television and nearly 25 years represented on an over-the-air syndicate, the Los Angeles Times is reporting that World Wrestling Entertainment will be moving the Friday Night SmackDown! entity to the SyFy Network this October.
Though the details are still being worked out and confirmed, WWE is expected to make the announcement official next week.
Rumor has it that the deal promises to pay the WWE $30 million for the distribution rights to the program, whereas their current deal with MyNetworkTV pays only $20 million.
Clearly, the WWE feels they are better off relocating one of their most widespread ...
What Ever Happened to the Gold Standard?
On April - 12 - 2010ADD COMMENTS
Hey guys,
Here is my third article on The BEST Athlete in the WWE.
Like I mentioned in my previous article about the...*sigh* jobber Kane, here is another wonderful talent that has gone to waste.
I don't freaking understand why the WWE (Vince McMahon) is making little use with an athlete like Shelton.
Heck, I don't even know why he is even called The Gold Standard (is he called The Gold Standard because of his yellow/golden hair. THAT IS SO STUPID!!!) if he doesn't even have any belts around his waist.
I can't even remember the last time he was given a title. When was ...
