WWE Survivor Series Returns To PPV In 2010

Posted by Jason Taylor On June - 8 - 2010ADD COMMENTS
PWInsider.com, ProWrestling.net, and several other wrestling websites are reporting that the WWE Survivor Series event will return for a 23rd year in 2010. The event will take place on Sunday, November 21st at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. The Survivor Series made its pay-per view debut on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 1987, and was held at the Richfield Coliseum in Richfield, Ohio. Survivor Series is the second longest running PPV event in WWE history, behind WrestleMania, and along with the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, and SummerSlam, it is one of the original four WWE annual PPV events. During a WWE investors meeting in ...
Wherever there are headliners or mid carders, there are those few wrestlers who have all the potential, athletic ability to make it far in a wrestling world, but they are overlooked because of other stars who have the “IT” factor. I can name many wrestlers from the top of my head who I feel deserved more then what they were given within the wrestling world such as Kane, Benjamin, Benoit, Guerrero, Mr. Perfect...and the list goes on. So I am going to name a few wrestlers who I feel have been overshadowed in the WWE and why the WWE feel ...

WWE: Michael Cole to Turn Heel???

Posted by Chris O Connall On June - 8 - 2010ADD COMMENTS
It has been reported by LordsofPain.net that WWE is interested in continuing with Michael Cole’s heel persona and possibly expanding his heel style to other WWE shows. Here’s a quote from their website: "The fact that Michael Cole was the only one to escape the NXT invasion on RAW last night could mean that it's a part of the storyline as there has been talk of moving forward with Cole as a heel.'' Now, this piece of news also supports my previous article, http://bleacherreport.com/articles/402959-wwe-plants-the-seeds-for-the-demise-of-nxt?just_published=1 If Michael Cole was to turn heel, it would be yet another similarity between this invasion angle and the ...
WWE RAW last night was a "viewer's choice" where the fans of the WWE got to vote on stipulations, opponents, and other ideas and while it was short on intensity, the last angle of the night where the NXT season one rookies destroyed the RAW set and everybody in their way has really gotten the IWC buzzing about the WWE and the NXT show. The assault on the RAW crew was shocking to watch on television because in my many years of watching wrestling, I haven't seen an angle become so intense and so interesting to watch since ...

WWE Plants The Seeds For The Demise Of NXT???

Posted by Chris O Connall On June - 8 - 2010ADD COMMENTS
Please note that this article is simply my opinion on this fascinating storyline. Last night on Raw, something astonishing happened. WWE panted the seeds for their annual big storyline for the summer period. It all began during the main event of an, up to then, lacklustre Raw. The main event, in itself was good, but what happened afterwards was simply brilliant. The season one NXT rookies, led by Wade Barrett, absolutely destroyed the ringside area and attacked everybody in sight — announcers, producers, referees, Cena and the SES. As of now, we have not been given an explanation for this. All we know for sure ...
You wouldn't believe how many people found me on Skype and/or Facebook when I was on watching WWE RAW last night. While I was in the middle of the show, as I DVRed it, I got questions like, "Dude did you see RAW", and, "Man, RAW's ending was epic, you see it?" etc. I begged them not to let me know, as I was getting close to seeing it. After finally seeing the ending, I have to say that it's about time the WWE shocked the world again. The last match was John Cena vs CM Punk as voted on by the ...

NXT Rookies Puts the Entertainment in WWE.

Posted by John Kindelan On June - 8 - 2010ADD COMMENTS
Reports are all over the boards and sites saying that last night's Monday Night Raw was a terrible show up until the last 5 minutes where the NXT rookies came out and decimated the ring, champion John Cena, announcers Jerry Lawler and Justin Roberts, and knocked out the referee. They threw chairs and essentially destroyed Monday Night Raw as it went off the air. What did this accomplish, doing the one thing that WWE has had difficulty doing as of late; getting watchers to say: "What the heck is going on?!" Triple H himself came right out in the ring and said ...
In what saved this three-hour episode of RAW from being one of the most embarrassingly insipid shows in all of wrestling history, the NXT rookies took over the end of RAW and utterly dismantled everything and everyone in and around the ring. They did so in such a way that has never been done before. (Obviously, this was a lovely and innovative way to get people champing at the bit to watch the second season of NXT, which debuts tomorrow at 10 p.m. ET on SyFy.) Inarguably, this was the best piece of writing that the WWE Creative has produced in many years. However, ...

Thank You, BTY! Out Of Control Out Does Itself!

Posted by Brandon Hamblen On June - 8 - 2010ADD COMMENTS
Pensacola, Florida -- Out Of Control lived up to its name as the night was full of unexpected twists. From the opening bell, right through the main event, no one could have predicted how this night went. One constant was the in-ring action, which was extremely competitive the entire evening. Bruiserweight Maze vs. Party Gras Justin Stone The rivalry between Justin Stone and Maze has been going on for years, but the newest incarnation of Stone vs. Maze heated up last month following a tag match at Brawl In The Hall when Maze choked out Party Gras with Stone’s party beads. Momentum had ...

The Top 10: TNA’s Make-Or-Break Storyline

Posted by Josh Brewer On June - 7 - 2010ADD COMMENTS
When TNA came forward with the interactive top 10 contenders list, I was truly impressed. It was an original idea, and it gets the fans involved. Once the top 10 was announced, however, I had one all-too-familiar sentiment: Same old TNA booking. Big surprise. Again, I love the idea of having a monthly rankings system. It adds the potential for some great storylines, (including the current storyline involving Kurt Angle) and it gives you a solid look at who is next in line for the TNA World Heavyweight Title. Because it carries so much weight, this creative decision is the proverbial fork in ...
