WWE 2-21-11: How WWE Is Playing Us and Why We Shouldn’t Jump to Conclusions
On February - 3 - 2011ADD COMMENTS
I think that it would be safe to say that the "2-21-11" promo that ran on last Monday's Raw has stirred up quite a bit of noise over the past few days.
Online talk and other rumors continue to put the focus on both The Undertaker and Sting as the two most possible superstars that could make their appearance on February 21st, the night after Elimination Chamber. While I feel that both superstars could easily fit the "2-21-11" promo and I would not be shocked to see either appear in just over two weeks, we must step back and look at ...

WWE’s Royal Rumble Divas Championship Insanity: Natalya Deserves Better

Hello, Bleachers!
This one is a few days late, but it's been a crazy week yet again...but of course, all of you reading right now knew that I would have to cover this topic.
So, the Royal Rumble came and went, and we had some surprises concerning the Divas Championship match. Originally slated to be another handicap contest between champ Natalya and the pesky, ever-present LayCool, it was not meant to be.
Through Michael Cole and the MacBook, we discovered that the anonymous RAW General Manager changed the match so that LayCool would have no extra edge in the bout, and we were now ...
The Two Sheds Review: Xtreme Pro Wrestling Damage, Inc.

It’s time to step out of my comfort zone once again, and this time we’re stepping into Rob Black’s world as we go back to August 2001 and Xtreme Pro Wrestling’s Damage Inc., featuring a single elimination tournament to crown the first XPW TV Champion. After a rather freaky looking segment which covered for the departure of World Champion The Messiah, it was on to the quarterfinals of the TV title tournament, beginning with Kid Kaos taking on the entire Enterprise stable of Steve Rizzono, T.J. Rush and G.Q. Money in a gauntlet match. After a long pre-match promo from the Enterprise ...

Triple H and The Rock will no doubt find themselves Hall of Fame bound, likely sooner rather than later. The Rock (along with Austin) led an explosion of the WWE into mainstream media during the attitude era.Triple H, while not as high profile outside of the wrestling world, carried the company as the top heel into the new millennium. Before either were main eventers, they rose to prominence in a tremendous undercard feud in the summer of 1998.Begin Slideshow
Royal Rumble Tells One Story, While Raw Tells Another: Why The Mixed Signals?

“I don’t like that! A no-name won!”
These were the words of my girlfriend Heather after Alberto Del Rio won the Royal Rumble match and the chance to main event Wrestlemania.
“He actually is a big name now; you just don’t watch every week.” I said to her. But even as I defended the WWE’s decision to give the newcomer such a big accolade, it was easy to see why she felt that way.
She is a casual fan at best, the kind of fan who quit watching regularly after the Rock/Austin era, didn’t realize that WCW was seriously messed up, and ...

OK, as I sit here, I thought I would take a few moments and write about the WWE. Me a “Featured Columnist” for the Seattle Seahawks writing about the WWE. Man I must be bored.
However, I guess you can say I am a fan. The however in that is, I am not the fan that eats, drinks, and sleeps, having to know about everything that is going to happen before it does in wrestling.
I don’t need insiders telling me what is going to happen, and spoilers on “Breaking News” in the WWE. I like to watch, and be surprised without ...
WWE Talents: Who Needs To Go, Who Needs a Push, Who’s Being Wasted

Hi there, fellow Bleachers! This is Tony Tuco here with but my second article (how am I doin' so far?), and I'd like to opine about the state of some of WWE's talent pool. Some are being horribly wasted and need a push, some need to go, and some are being manhandled into obscurity. Mark Henry is just one of the wrestlers who fits into one of the above categories, and I can't wait to know what you, the IWC, thinks.Begin Slideshow
