AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens: Comparing WWE SmackDown, Raw’s Booking of Top Heels

Posted by Ryan Dilbert On January - 20 - 2017

AJ Styles has had a distinct edge over Kevin Owens as the two villains have reigned over WWE SmackDown and Raw, respectively: superior booking. The amount of electricity surrounding their upcoming title bouts speak to that. Styles is poised to face John Cena for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on Jan. 29. Owens will defend the Universal Championship against Roman Reigns the same night. SmackDown's championship bout is more appealing, a collision of titans belonging to the blue ...

Top 10 Feuds in WWE History

Posted by Christy Barber On April - 7 - 2010ADD COMMENTS
In WWE we have seen some great feuds and some feuds we'd like to forget. We've had the priviledge of seeing Austin vs McMahon, The Rock vs Triple H, and Bret Hart vs HBK. We've also had the misfortune of seeing some terrible feuds. These feuds changed the landscape of wrestling and made certain superstars into legends. Begin Slideshow

Lacey Von Erich…Wrestler Or Just Eye Candy?

Posted by John Betschel On April - 7 - 2010ADD COMMENTS
Lacey Von Erich is the spawn of the Legendary Von Erich family. Daughter of Kerry Von Erich and granddaughter of Fritz Von Erich, this beauty would seem to have wrestling in her blood. She was signed back in 2007 to a developmental contract with the WWE and was assigned to FCW. She became the first third generation wrestler from the Von Erich family. Lacey made her in ring debut against Nattie Neidhart. She was released from her contract in late 2007. Von Erich then wrestled around on the independent circuit for a while until joining an all woman wrestling promotion Wrestlelicious which was created by ...
TNA Impact scored its highest rating since March 8th, as WWE Raw fell to an all year-low.  Both were after last week’s post-Wrestlemania shows, and resulted in a disastrous rating for Impact and an excellent rating for WWE, the two shows took vastly different turns once more. The sexy ladies of TNA’s Knockout division scored the highest ratings all night long, with segments featuring them garnering ratings of 0.98, 0.98 and 0.93 respectively. The show's overall rating rounded up for a 0.9. Sex sells, no doubt about it. Is this a false dawn though? Using stripteases and skimpy outfits to ...
When some people hear the name Chavo Guerrero, they think Eddie's nephew, or even WWE jobber.  Personaly, when I hear the name Chavo Guerrero, I think greatness. Chavo Guerrero is a member of the legendary Guerrero family of wrestling.  He is currently employed by the WWE, but you wouldn't know it as he has received so little TV time lately. Chavo began his career on TV in the US in WCW.  He came into their blossoming cruiserweight division and feuded with his uncle Eddie, Rey Mysterio, and the rest of the amazing talent in the division. For the five years he ...
WWE has been home to some of the world's most beautiful female athletes for years now. Some of them were forgettable while others left us dreaming of them years later. Since the Attitude era, the WWE has made a habit of only hiring very attractive female wrestlers, and even going as far as making models into wrestlers. With that said, here is my countdown of the ten hottest WWE Divas of all time.Begin Slideshow
Earlier this morning TNA president Dixie Carter posted on her twitter that TNA will be permanently moving to 8 p.m. each Monday night, with an encore performance at their former time slot on Thursdays. From @TNADixie: "Monday Night iMPACT! moves to 8 p.m. ET start time on Spike each Monday w/an encore performance Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET. Spread the word!" This comes as no surprise as TNA managed a 0.86 rating this week at the 8-10 PM time slot, up from a 0.6 the week before, their worst rating in five years. The higher rating was helped in part by ...
The WWE's annual draft is right around the corner, and with one less brand than the last few years there is a possibility of seeing some new feuds. The WWE draft is meant as a way to mix up the rosters and provide a fresh feel to their two weekly shows they hold up highest.  In previous years we have seen some huge surprises accompanied by predictable choices. The thing that upsets some fans the most is the fact that the draft is in no way random and is planned out in advance.  This is just like the rest of the WWE ...
For a long time the WWE has been slammed by critics and fans for only featuring a few top stars while pushing the young guys down. In the last year or so the WWE has begun pushing some of its younger talent, but are they choosing the right talent to push? CM Punk was pushed very quickly and he became the first person to win the tag, IC and world titles all in the same year.  Punk was pushed to three world titles, but has recently been out of the title picture while forming his group the Straight Edge Society. Jeff Hardy, despite ...
Today is Wednesday, so its time for another Weekly Top Ten. This list will feature 10 stars from the last decade (2000-2009) that have a place in the WWE Hall of Fame waiting for them. With any list, questions will form about why a person made the list and why another person did not. If you have any questions or feel I might have left some one out, let me know in the comment section. If enough people agree with you, it might be Comment's Pick in my next slide. Every one on the list has captured our imagination in some ...
The fans! Yes, the fans are the real No. 1 reason why TNA Impact hasn't drawn a good rating on Monday nights. Sure, there are many other reasons as well—like too much Hogan and Bischoff airtime, and the fact that Vince Russo's shock value approach is very dated—but in the end, TNA has had some killer matches on Impact since moving to Monday night. Raw has gotten worse week after week and yet the fans still tune in and fight the urge to flip the channel. I see so many people crying online that TNA should go back to Thursday night because they ...
