WWE Survivor Series 2009 Preview and Predictions
On November - 21 - 2009ADD COMMENTS
The 23rd annual Survivor Series takes place in just 24 hours, and the card is unlike any that we have seen this year.
Two Triple-Threat matches with major titles on the line, and tons of Traditional Survivor Series action in store. Let's get to the card.
MATCH 1: Team Mickie (Mickie James, Divas Champion Melina, Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly, Eve Torres) vs. Team Michelle (Women's Champion Michelle McCool, Jillian Hall, Beth Phoenix, Layla, Alicia Fox)
Something the WWE Universe is not used to seeing is an all-Divas Survivor Series match. Both sides have their strong points, with former Women's Champs James, Melina, and ...
The Rock Back With WWE, Hulkamania Tour Update
On November - 21 - 2009ADD COMMENTS
Reports have surfaced recently that The Rock will be working closely with WWE on an upcoming project and possibly do some more appearances at shows. In a recent interview Johnson was quoted saying:
"I love that world and being able to entertain, especially if I could go back whether it's on Smackdown and do a promo or guest-host or we could create this cool show, whatever that may be," Johnson said. "Especially now, I'm at the point where I can go back and give back to the fans and help out the guys in any way I can."
He later went ...
Has CM Punk Been Demoted To Mid-Card Level?
On November - 21 - 2009ADD COMMENTS
As most of my readers know, I have never been a massive fan of a certain individual in the world of professional wrestling. I like to be in the middle in a way. I feel by taking sides, creditability will go out the window half the time when talking about the specific wrestler.
CM Punk is one of those people that I am a fan of, but I am not a massive fan that can not see the truth when it comes to him, unlike his fans. Punk is killing on the mic right now, as a heel, I don't think ...
Turning Point 2: Hulk Hogan’s Wish List May Not Be Good for TNA’s Progress
On November - 21 - 2009ADD COMMENTS
TNA has undergone a lot of changes lately, it seems. Over the past two months, younger talent has started to rise to the forefront, highlighted by AJ Styles winning the World Championship.
The Main Event Mafia has quietly fallen off the landscape. Desmond Wolfe has made an impactful debut in his matches with Kurt Angle.
Whether or not you like him, you have to admit that Vince Russo has been doing a better job of late with the use of the talent on the TNA roster.
Deserving young stars are getting more airtime and being more involved. While I don’t agree with everything he’s ...
MvM: Bow Down To The Charismatic Magnificence Of The Captain
On November - 20 - 2009ADD COMMENTS
*This article has been rated Triple-C by the B/R Commission due it being extremely charismatic nature, having a smattering of Christian and being written by someone who is crazy when it comes to the Captain.
A further warning is needed for Edgeheads, Ortonites, Jericholics and any other of the blinded and misguided folks that believe that 1) their idol is the best and 2) that they are the bigger maniac because you will bare witness to my charismatic magnificence and as the age old saying goes ; this article will open ...
What TNA Is Doing Right
On November - 20 - 2009ADD COMMENTS
So often we like to bash TNA for not doing what we think they should do.
It's easy because we want them to succeed so badly, that when they make a poor decision, we slide right into jumping on them for it.
When TNA started to become WWE-light, it was a horrible step down and left a bad taste in a lot of the fans' mouths. Cries of near-the-end WCW started lighting up message boards left and right.
Thankfully, over the past few months or so, it seems like the ship has righted itself.
TNA's last PPV, Turning Point 2009, was one of the ...
Could AJ Styles Be Successful in The WWE?
On November - 20 - 2009ADD COMMENTS
AJ Styles has been one of the most talked about names in pro wrestling for a few years now. He has been working with TNA (Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling) since its inception as well as ROH (Ring of Honor Wrestling) and NJPW (New Japan Pro-Wrestling). He is considered by many as one of the top stars in the world today.
Yet he has never stepped foot in the WWE. Thats right, one of the top guys in the world has never been a WWE superstar. He wrestled on Velocity but never under contract(Thanks to the loyal BR community for pointing out my mistake) Only ...
Can WWE’s Christian Carry a Major Brand As the Top Face?
On November - 20 - 2009ADD COMMENTS
First off, let me clarify the title a little bit. I am speaking mainly of Raw and Smackdown when I say major brand, no disrespect to ECW, the title would have been too long if I had said both Raw and Smackdown. Anyways, to the point.
Christian has undoubtedly made an impact since returning to the WWE. He is the first person to be a two-time ECW champion since the brands re-imaging. I'm not counting Lashley since his second reign was not what I would call "legit." He is easily the most popular wrestler on the ECW brand right now and he is ...
WWE Survivor Series 2009 Prediction Competition
On November - 20 - 2009ADD COMMENTS
The nights are getting darker, the days are getting colder, and the winter season is approaching. It can't be anything but time for the annual Autumn extravaganza known as Survivor Series!
With three traditional elimination matches, as well as two main event triple-threat bouts, it's easy to see that the events of Sunday night will definitely affect Raw, Smackdown, and ECW in a big way.
With Kofi Kingston getting his opportunity to stand toe-to-toe with Randy Orton, will the "Viper" reign supreme, or will a little "Boom, Boom, Boom!" mean a big win?
With both Jerishow and DX being in separate triple ...
“Psycho” Sid Vicious Headed To TNA Wrestling
On November - 19 - 2009ADD COMMENTS
It is being reported from Psycho Sid Promotions today that he will be heading to TNA Wrestling. He has been making his way around the Indy scene for a little while now, and was actually rumored to be going to the WWE about a year ago.
However, when asked if he could "get clean" to work for the WWE by officials, Sid said no. Sid has been on the juice and has admitted to such. TNA has interest in any old wrestling name, so it's obvious that they would take him. And they could care less if he is on anything as ...
