WWE 12: Randy ‘Macho Man’ Savage’s Inclusion Makes New Video Game a Must-Buy

Posted by Mike Chiari On November - 19 - 2011

As if there wasn't already enough hype surrounding the release of the WWE 12 video game on Nov. 22, the recently announced inclusion of Randy "Macho Man" Savage as downloadable content makes this game a must-buy for any past and present fan of the WWE.Savage had been absent from WWE video games for years prior to WWE All-Stars this year. It was rumored that the late Savage, who died of a heart attack in May, ...

Muhammad Hassan: A Man Who Was Screwed By a Choice Not His Own

Posted by Matt Offermann On December - 3 - 2010ADD COMMENTS
I was reading all the articles about the recent release of MVP, when everybody kept saying how much of a push he deserved and how much he was screwed. While I do believe that he was screwed, I'm not going to say he didn't have it coming. I have to put MVP in the same boat as Matt Hardy; mo, MVP didn't do it as much as Hardy and it may be unnoticed compared to him, but MVP still had his complaints. That's OK and all, I mean who doesn't have a complaint about WWE, but keep it to ...
Sports Entertainment Sccops (sescoops.com) is reporting that World Wrestling Entertainment officials have discussed making changes to their announce team for pay-per-view programming, possibly starting with the Tables, Ladders and Chairs event on Sunday, December 19. Reports within WWE are that Smackdown's Todd Grisham isn't getting high marks for his work, which caused WWE to replace him on the show with Michael Cole. It has also been reported that Cole and Jerry Lawler don't like working with Matt Striker; during the Survivor Series PPV event, Cole removed his headset and yelled at Striker for talking too much. CM Punk could end up being Striker's replacement on pay-per-view ...
Satire- One of the most commonly speculated things on this site is who will the Undertaker face at Wrestlemania. There was so much speculation that there was speculation to the speculation. This appears to be Taker's last one if injuries force him to retire. We all know he'll end up 19-0 or 20-0 if he lasts that long. Vince won't let the "Streak" end to anybody. Or will he? If he faces this guy, his streak is in serious doubt. Jeffawesome.com has reported that Undertaker will face teen pop star sensation Justin Bieber at Wrestlemania 27. Bieber is thrilled with ...

Michelle McCool: The Musical!

Hello Bleachers! The WWE Divas Division has a great history, though currently is in a slump. Not to worry though, for Kaitlyn has won NXT Season 3!!! ...Anyone? "Is this mic on?" Ugh. Well at least Natalya is the Divas champ, Beth Phoenix is back, and hopefully, AJ and Naomi will finally get to be on the main roster. One of the biggest complaints of the WWE Divas Division is, of course, Michelle McCool. While I do feel that she is talented in the ring (compared to some of the other Divas, that is), she has this vibe about her ...

MVP: Talent Release Gone Too Far

Posted by iqbal siraj On December - 2 - 2010ADD COMMENTS
OK, there have been many articles written the past couple of hours about MVP's release, but I would like to share my opinion. WWE has gone too far. They released Luke Gallows, a wrestler who is only 26 and had a lot of potential. They released Vance Archer who could have been something good if they used him right. Furthermore, they release Fat Hardy...I mean Matt Hardy. Um well, don't know what to say about him because he actually became annoying later on and blatantly just wants to go to TNA. But the releases of Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas were ridiculous. BUT ...
Now that MVP has been released, everyone is wondering what he's going to do next. Whenever a wrestler receives his release, WWE makes sure that he cannot immediately jump to TNA. You can thank Lex Luger and Jeff Jarrett for that rule being in existence. MVP will not be eligible to sign with TNA for at least 90 days. A lot of money can be made in three months. While some wrestlers do take the time to relax, most capitalize on their name value by working independent wrestling shows and overseas shows. Through his official Twitter account, MVP has stated a desire to ...

WWE Releases Montel Vontavious Porter: Who Really Cares?

Posted by Paul Murphy On December - 2 - 2010ADD COMMENTS
So on December 2nd of 2010, World Wrestling Entertainment granted the grappler known as Montel Vontavious Porter his release. I have one question to this. Who cares? MVP was brought onto the scene with an explosion of a push feuding with Kane and then Chris Benoit, eventually winning Benoit's United States Championship. During this time period we saw a long on-again-off-again feud with Matt Hardy and short feuds with both Rey Mysterio and Ric Flair. MVP held the U.S. Title for a record 343 days (at least WWE U.S. Title record). MVP then endured a losing streak of epic proportions until he ...

WWE: My Rant On the Release of Superstar MVP

Posted by Henry Adams On December - 2 - 2010ADD COMMENTS
The latest news in the pro wrestling news is that MVP—Smackdown's ballin superstar— has been released.Earlier, WWE posted, "World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar MVP as of December 2, 2010. WWE wishes MVP the best in all future endeavors." I am very tired of losing so much talent this year in wrestling. No one should be able to blame MVP for asking for his release as he told in his twitter post after the release. "No need for alarm. I did not get fired . I asked for & received my release. I felt it was time to go international ...
Through his short tenure in WWE, Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) has had a great run and a few great moments. Despite not winning the WWE Championship, his career in World Wrestling Entertainment has seen quite a few bright spots. This slide show will showcase just some of those many great moments that he had.Begin Slideshow

The Main Reason Why MVP Left the WWE

Posted by Rachel Miller On December - 2 - 2010ADD COMMENTS
Montel Vontavious Porter, aka MVP, was reportedly released by the WWE today. I can tell you the real reason why the release was expected. After getting buried on RAW following a feud with the Miz for the United States Championship, MVP was drafted to Smackdown in the WWE Supplemental Draft this past April. Everyone thought that it was the break MVP desperately needed. But he was overshadowed by the likes of "Dashing" Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger as of late. The final straw came when highly-touted Mexican wrestler Alberto Del Rio debuted on Smackdown back in ...
