Wrestlemania XXVII: The Undertaker’s Streak and What It Means to Wrestlemania
On March - 23 - 2011ADD COMMENTS
The Undertaker's character is the most unique and unbelievable in wrestling history.
To think that a character can, in fact, be a "dead man" from Death Valley is horrifying and awe-inspiring. Add in the fact that Mark Calaway makes this character come to life and believably adds an entirely different element to its mystique.
"The Streak" had a beginning back in 1991 against Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, the question now becomes: Will it ever have an end? Should it have an end at all?
Those questions and the history surrounding "The Streak" are true and also appear to be the intimidation factor ...
10 Easy Steps Dixie Carter Needs to Take to Fix TNA Wrestling
On March - 23 - 2011ADD COMMENTS
Does everyone remember how good TNA used to be? When it was first released as a weekly pay-per-view series back in 2002, it was considered revolutionary. It was able to attract many fans who had become tired of the stale storylines being broadcast by the WWE and some of the matches that were on offered were out of this world. The X division was the main attraction providing five-star matches week in week out. The series of matches that Samoa Joe, AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels had are among the best matches that I have ever seen. But since Hulk Hogan and ...

TNA Wrestling: Scott Steiner’s Contract Expiring?
On March - 23 - 2011ADD COMMENTS
According to Wrestling News World, Scott Steiner's contract is expiring in a few weeks. As yet, there is no word on if there is any interest in re-signing the former Main Event Mafia member.
Steiner, a multi-time World Champion, returned to TNA Wrestling on the January 27 edition of Impact!, saving Kurt Angle, Matt Morgan and Crimson from attack by Immortal.
Steiner has been used sparingly since.
Steiner took part in a Tag Team match alongside Crimson at last weeks TNA iMPACT! tapings, however this appears to have been cut from the final edit. It would appear TNA re-signed Scott Steiner for a ...

TNA Wrestling: Decision on Jeff Hardy to Be Announced Soon
On March - 23 - 2011ADD COMMENTS
Multiple wrestling news outlets are reporting that key TNA insiders understand that a decision on Jeff Hardy has either been made, or will be finalized very soon, and announced to the public “shortly.”Hardy showed up to the TNA Victory Road pay per view and was, according to several backstage sources, unfit to perform. Despite his obvious impairment, TNA shockingly allowed him to go out to the ring, but only for a short time. With both Hardy and TNA World Champion Sting in the ring, Executive Producer Eric Bischoff came out to kill time, and the match was over in less than ...
World Wrestling Entertainment: Is It ‘Wrestling’ or ‘Global Entertainment?’
On March - 23 - 2011ADD COMMENTS
Do you ever watch an episode of Raw and you wonder "what happened to my wrestling show?" You're not alone. The word wrestling is one of those foreign terms in WWE these days. The male performers are superstars, not wrestlers. The women are divas. If a superstar or diva says the term "wrestling" or "wrestler" odds are good that they would be reprimanded by management. In an article at TVweek.com, it states that a WWE publicist named Kellie Baldyga sent a stern e-mail to the author of a story about Drew Carey being in the "pro wrestling hall of fame." ...
"Aftermath of IMPACT": TNA IMPACT! Review
On March - 23 - 2011ADD COMMENTS
A quick note before I begin. For anyone who doesn’t enjoy watching Impact or enjoy the overall product, I advise you to heed my advice and not watch the show.
To go even further, I would advise you not to recap the show.
Finally, I advise you not to question others motivations in their enjoyment of a wrestling product. Wrestling is 100 percent subjective! There are no right answers or wrong answers; there are only popular ones. Anyway, on with the review.Heading into this show, I really questioned how TNA would handle the Jeff Hardy situation. Because of Hardy seemingly being “unfit ...
TNA Ray-View: Victory Road/No Surrender 2010 Twin Pack
On March - 23 - 2011ADD COMMENTS
Hopefully, this is the first of many TNA Home Video reviews that I'll be bringing you. It's kind of ironic that this double pack arrived to me last week. I couldn't help but compare the Victory Road of just a few months back to the debacle of two weeks ago, but I digress.
This is a novel idea by TNA, teaming up two very popular and heavily linked pay-per-view events from 2010 and packaging them into a nice, little two disc set.
Granted, most of us will have already sat and watched both events on pay-per-view, or, if you're in the UK ...
Chris Masters vs. Tyler Reks: WWE’s Most Overlooked Feud
On March - 23 - 2011ADD COMMENTS
When you watch Friday Night SmackDown, storylines such as Edge and Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio and Brodus Clay, Rey Mysterio vs. "Dashing" Cody Rhodes, and The Big Show & Kane vs. The Corre are heating up, heading into WrestleMania 27.
However, there is another feud on the blue brand that unfortunately has been limited to the soon-to-be cancelled WWE Superstars—Chris Masters vs. Tyler Reks.
The feud began last October, where Reks defeated Masters. The storyline continued at the Survivor Series PPV, where Masters was a member of Rey Mysterio's team while Reks was a member of Alberto Del Rio's team.
After a mini-feud ...
