If there was ever a match that is synonymous with the words "violent" and "sadistic" then its none other than the Buried Alive Match. On October 20, 1996 the WWE gave us a match that featured The Undertaker and Mankind at their best, long before Hell in a Cell in 98. I mean, you just gotta see to believe it. There is no other match that I would consider to be so brutal and barbaric that does not involve any steel in it. I, as a huge fan of the match, am very excited to see its return.
There has only been four Buried Alive Matches in the history of the WWE. All of them included the Undertaker, all of them was extreme and all of them was so very not PG. ...
