When you think of the backbone of wrestling you may automatically think the WWE. In many ways I can't blame modern fans for thinking that way. After all we have had the WWE pushed down on us for some time now—mainly because the lack of competition it has had. Hardcore wrestling fans know differently though.
To hardcore wrestling fans it is the Indy scene that keeps pro wrestling strong. Its only on the Indy scene that we get to see great performers like Tyler Black, Davey Richards, Mike Quackenbush, Blue Demon Jr., and others.
