I recently did a slide show on the top five wrestlers to never be a world champion in WWE, WCW, ECW, or TNA. I mentioned in some of my comments that I did not believe that the AWA was as big as some of the other companies were in pro wrestling, boy was I wrong.
I recently did some research on the AWA and discovered that the AWA was very popular at one point by having solid talent there and having a timeslot on ESPN each week.
