WWE News: Awesome Kong only recently signed with the WWE.
But that doesn't mean it's too early for her to have some backstage heat.
According to f4wonline.com, here's what one company source had to say about Kong signing with the WWE:
"Since Kong got arrested in Tampa I'd say that's proof she got a WWE gig, because you have to get arrested in Tampa to work for WWE," the source said.
For those that don't know the inside joke here, there's been a ton of WWE workers who have gotten arrested in the Tampa area, from Ted DiBiase to Santino Marella to Wade Barrett.
It has been reported that Kong's arrest in Florida was the main thing holding up her WWE contract.
