The sites are swirling with news of retirement for The Rated R Superstar, due to him stating after a house show in Toronto, "I might only have a couple more of these visits left in me, and I want to end my career here in Toronto. Maybe if Mania is here." This alludes to the fact that not only will Edge be retiring, but it may be soon as Toronto may be the site of WrestleMania in four years.
