WWE’s Raw vs. Smackdown 2010

Posted by Josh McCain On October - 28 - 2009
Last Tuesday, Oct. 20, WWE's Raw verses Smackdown 2010 hit store shelves nationwide. I arrived home with my copy and put it in my X-Box 360. I noticed right away that a vast majority of my X-Box Live friend's were playing as well, and for good reason. This offering from THQ and Jakks Pacific might just be their best effort yet with the series. For starters, the controls feel tighter and more crisp than the last two years. My wrestler seems to be more fluid than before and it immerses the gamer even more. The grappling system once again utilizes the ...
There is a lot of TNA news coming in, so this article may seem like nothing if everything I am hearing comes to pass. There are things such as Ric Flair coming in, and a few more ROH wrestlers also making their way to the company. Not to mention, there is the rumor that Eric Bischoff, along with Hulk Hogan, could be booking the shows for TNA and the fact that Kevin Nash was recently suspended by TNA and that Booker T is officially done with the company and much much more. But the rumor a lot of us are interested ...

Big Show: The WWE’s Go-To Stepping Stone

Posted by Jeremiah Graves On October - 27 - 2009
It was announced on last night’s RAW that Big Show is the new number one contender for the Undertaker’s World Heavyweight Championship.   According to Show, he struck a deal with Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long prior to Sunday night’s Bragging Rights pay-per-view.   The deal was simple enough: if Big Show turned on the RAW squad and helped Smackdown win the inaugural Bragging Rights match, Long would name him the number one contender.   Big Show did his part and chokeslammed Kofi Kingston off of the top rope, leading to a win for the blue brand, and Long upheld his end of the bargain as ...

State Of Affairs: WWE Divas Division

Posted by Christi Lott On October - 27 - 2009
Now that the dust has settled from the big Diva Draft shake-up, it's time to take a look at what we've got and what could be. I  tend to believe that buildup for Wrestlemania begins now, and who's champion(s) by the end of the year can set the tone for the big run.  I'm omitting ECW as the girls on there hardly ever wrestle, and when they do it's for nothing. RAW The current Divas champion is Melina.  While I thought that Jillian would get a big of a push after getting a major shaft after winning her first WWE title, but ...

Until Monday Night RAW last night the "future" that everyone drooled and babbled about for so long seemed so distant. Shots were fired into the pie holes of all of the folks screaming "Ted DiBiase Jr. vs Randy Orton!," shutting them up for the time being, a la Christian as Jeff Hardy's attacker earlier this year. Kofi Kingston was attacked by Randy Orton on Monday Night RAW in frustration over losing his title, feud with John Cena, and future rematches against the chaingang commander. His attitude wasn't adjusted, as Cena had set out to do, and attacking Kingston was a logical move. ...

Breaking News: Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff Sign With TNA Wrestling

Posted by Joe Burgett On October - 27 - 2009
In a very weird story, it was just announced by TNA that they signed WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan today.  There is a teaser video out online already for his TNA debut, which could be as soon as next week. One would think he wouldn't be on Thursday seeing as TNA already taped that program.  There was a rumor that TNA was going to tape another program next Tuesday, but that is not confirmed. In any case, this comes as a shock to many.  I wrote a peice on Hogan after I heard a rumor of him signing with TNA a ...
