Cesaro’s Alliance with Paul Heyman and WWE’s 25 Biggest Epic Failures of 2014

Posted by Graham GSM Matthews On December - 31 - 2014
Throughout 2014, we've witnessed some of the most memorable moments in WWE history, including Daniel Bryan capturing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the breakup of the Shield and Brock Lesnar conquering the Undertaker's undefeated streak at WrestleMania. All in all, 2014 has been a solid year for WWE, especially from an in-ring standpoint. However, the year has had its share of moments most of us would like to forget or have forgotten already, due to their insignificance or horrendous booking. Occasionally, backstage officials begin an angle they eventually don't follow up on, which confuses viewers and insults our intelligence.I've composed a list ...
Daniel Bryan's announced return injected life into the Royal Rumble picture. Suddenly, Roman Reigns isn't nearly the runaway favorite he was last week. This must be how the Detroit Lions felt after Ndamukong Suh was reinstated.   @ThisIsNasty Do you expect Daniel Bryan to feud with the Authority again? #TheBeardIsBack — Kurtis Galloway (@KJG524) December 30, 2014 Bryan should feud with The Authority at some point before or during WrestleMania. Last year, fans rebelled because the powers that be continued to give him the short end of the stick. The Authority personified Bryan's true enemy, and that's why it worked. If WWE didn't want Daniel Bryan to be a top guy ...

Tyler Breeze, Adrian Neville and Latest WWE NXT Developmental News

Posted by Ryan Dilbert On December - 31 - 2014
Tyler Breeze and Adrian Neville continue to inch away from NXT and toward the WWE main roster. Their fanbases, though, have to be concerned with how they are going to be presented on that stage. Breeze's partners at recent house shows point to him being a comedy act once he gets called up. What the company has planned for Neville upon promotion still sounds like a bad idea. In other NXT news, Finn Balor talked up the WWE developmental system. Sami Zayn's matches received critical acclaim, and The Ascension stepped into the ring on Raw for the first time. That's where fans expect ...

Full Career Retrospective and Greatest Moments for Melina

Posted by Erik Beaston On December - 31 - 2014
The mid-2000s saw the rejuvenation of women's wrestling in WWE, and few Divas enjoyed the success and championship glory that Melina did. Debuting in 2005 as the manager of MNM, she wasted little time in becoming one of the breakout stars of the SmackDown brand. A talented talker and a beautiful woman, Melina had a presence about her that captured the attention of the fanbase. As devious, deceitful, cunning and dangerous as she was absolutely smoking hot, she became one of the top villains on either WWE show. When she finally was allowed the opportunity to step inside the squared circle on her ...
1. Daniel Bryan Energizes WWE Roster Daniel Bryan's announcement that he's ready to return to the ring is reason aplenty to be excited about what WWE brings in 2015. His recovery from neck surgery has dragged on, but he's apparently healthy enough to strap on his boots once more. That will provide an injection of energy and star power into WWE programming. Dean Ambrose has worked his way into a top babyface role. Dolph Ziggler continues to steal shows and give the WWE brass reason to move him up the ladder. John Cena remains the reliable marquee talent. Adding Bryan to that mix is ...

Examining What WWE Can Do to Get the Most from Brock Lesnar’s Title Reign

Posted by Sharon Glencross On December - 30 - 2014
Per recent reports, Brock Lesnar’s future in WWE is looking decidedly precarious. According to Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio (via Wrestling Inc), Lesnar may very well be returning to the UFC when his current contract with Vince McMahon's company expires in April of next year. If Lesnar does depart, it will obviously be troubling news for WWE. It has invested a whole lot in the star since he returned in 2012. He’s been booked as a major monster heel. Most notably, he ended The Undertaker’s legendary undefeated streak at WrestleMania 30. At SummerSlam, he utterly destroyed John ...
