The WWE Universe has been buzzing about the John Cena vs. CM Punk match for the WWE Championship tomorrow, so I thought I'd write a slideshow some unexpected ways the outcome could happen.Keep in mind, that these are MY opinions on what is surprising, so if you somehow are expecting it, no need to bash it.Anyway, enjoy the read and feel free to express your opinion.Begin Slideshow
Years back these words could have put a damper and ultimate stop in your pro wrestling career: “Creative has nothing for you right now. Sorry!” Well, maybe the "sorry" would not have been used, but you get the point. Not to say that the sentence above has no value or meaning anymore, because it does. The difference is that you can either let it destroy your career or cease the opportunity to prove yourself. Back in the day if a certain gimmick did not go over well with the fans, they would try and reboot the superstar. If that didn't go well, the superstar would ...
I want to start off by saying this is the most intrigued and interested I have been for a PPV in years.Even though I went to WrestleMania 27, I have to admit that I am looking forward to Money in the Bank even more than WrestleMania. Why is it that I (and virtually every wrestling fan) am so capitivated by what will happen tomorrow night?I believe that it is because the lines have become blurred between what is reality and what is a storyline.I wrote an article months ago, before WrestleMania 27, that WWE was starting to severely lose credibility because ...

The Top 5 Heels in WWE Today: Do You Agree?

Posted by Thinesh John On July - 16 - 2011
I've often said this, and I'll always stand by what I said. Heels are never given enough credit in the WWE.Yes, we 'boo' them, yes, we jeer them and logically speaking, I know they are supposed to be 'boo'ed and jeered at because that's their on-screen persona. But nevertheless, one must always remember that without quality and credible heels, the top baby-faces of the company would never be in the positions that they are in right now. For the benefit of those who do not know what I mean by the term 'heels', I'll explain.  They are actually the 'bad guys' ...

WWE Money in the Bank 2011: Predicting the Winners

Posted by Kyle Schadler On July - 16 - 2011
WWE’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view is upon us. With six scheduled matches, this has more potential than the past four PPV’s. The most anticipated match is without a doubt the WWE Championship match. The fate of the WWE is in John Cena’s hands. Will the company lose the title and its golden boy all in one night, or can Super Cena emerge victorious? The Money in the Bank matches will, of course, be must see matches. Out of the 16 competitors between the two matches, 11 of them have never held a world title in the WWE. Will we see one ...
For the past few months, I have written articles where I paid tribute to my favorite wrestlers, showed humor, brought back the war series, and recalled history. There have been many feelings building up inside me about WWE and TNA that I have to share with everyone and get off my chest. Many of these feelings are recent. Others have been inside me for a while and have shared, but haven't told the entire truth. This article will feature strong opinions and I may say things that may offend fans. I just want to say that it isn't personal, so I apologize in ...
In the latest edition of Where Are They Now: Wrestler Edition, we look at what former WCW great Sting is up to these days. Yes, believe it or not, the 52-year-old former wrestling giant known as Sting is not only still wrestling, but he just captured his fifth TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Sting was competing against the defending champion Mr. Anderson, formerly Mr. Kennedy in the WWE, and he won with a little help from another former WWE star Kurt Angle. Angle was dressed as a clown because Sting’s gimmick is that he is the Heath Ledger Joker from the ...
Every week, WWE does a little thing called the Power 25.WWE basically ranks the top 25 wrestlers at that time. My problem with it is that the WWE basically chooses them based on wins and losses. So I have constructed my own little ranking called the Cool 25, in which I rank my top 25 wrestlers every week.It will be based on wins/losses AND level of performance. And just to note, I will try to keep kayfabe as much as I can, but I may break it a couple times now or then. This week, it's pretty stable, with just a few big drops ...

WWE Money in the Bank 2011: The Card Outcome

Posted by John Citizen On July - 16 - 2011
So the Money in the Bank pay-per-view is just a few days away and many of the matches have had some great build up. Some matches are more anticipated than others, but nonetheless this pay-per-view is shaping up to be one of the best this year. Now I've read many varying opinions from various Bleacher Reporters and, to say the least, I have found myself disagreeing with many predictions. I've decided to assess each match and state how I think each match will pan out and why. Hope you enjoy!Begin Slideshow
