Why I Think Drew McIntyre Joining the RAW Roster Will Be a Good Thing

Posted by Rachel Miller On October - 31 - 2010
Now that he's done teaming with "Dashing" Cody Rhodes on Smackdown, various reports are saying that the decision to split up the Dashing Ones was due to the WWE planning on trading McIntyre to the RAW roster by December. In exchange, Smackdown will receive in all likelihood, Evan Bourne once he comes back from his injury. Why I think it's a good thing that McIntyre should join the red brand is to give the RAW roster a much needed mid-card heel. Bourne was buried on RAW as of late but a move to the blue brand results in a much-needed ...

WWE: Cena’s New Theme Song, Goldberg Thrown In The Undertaker Mix?

Posted by Matt Offermann On October - 31 - 2010
More news from prowrestling.com. John Cena has a new theme song and it can be previewed at http://www.prowrestling.com/article/news/16814 This song really sounds heelish to me which begs the question. Is Cena going to turn heel sometime soon, possibly Survivor Series? Also, Goldberg was asked in an interview if he would be willing to face The Undertaker or Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. Since Brock is up in the air, could this be a possible match of Taker vs. Goldberg at Wrestlemania? He called the Taker/Lesnar confrontation "weak." Could this be a "I want in" comment to WWE? You can read more at http://www.prowrestling.com/article/news/16818 Would this be a ...
We've all been hearing the buzz about the Undertaker/Brock Lesnar confrontation from UFC 121.  The confrontation was short, only a few words were spoken, but the hype it generated was enormous. After Brock lost his UFC Heavyweight Championship to Cain Velaquez in a whopping five minutes, he passed by The Undertaker who was sitting cage-side and all we heard was Undertaker say "You wanna do it?"  As a matter of a fact, Brock never even stopped walking. The big question now is "Was it a work?"  Is WWE planning on doing The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 27?  In this article, ...

Why “Dashing” Cody Rhodes Is The Future Of The WWE

Posted by Rachel Miller On October - 31 - 2010
When Cody Rhodes was drafted to Smackdown in the WWE Supplemental Draft on April 27, 2010, the stable known as Legacy had officially been disbanded. Last year at this time, various experts predicted that Ted DiBiase, Jr. would be the breakout star of Legacy and that Rhodes would be lost in the shuffle. Now, fast-forward to today. DiBiase reinstated the wealthy playboy gimmick that his hall of fame father has brilliantly portrayed for much of his career, even bringing back the Million Dollar Championship. The only problem is that DiBiase lacks the charisma that his father had years earlier, not ...

WWE Diva Dominance: Layla Versus Michelle McCool

Posted by Double A . On October - 31 - 2010
This was the article that was written by Chris Freeman and myself for the NTWWC Cycle 1 contest. The WWE Divas division is a subject of much debate among many fans. Some argue that the division is not what it once was, when the likes of Trish Stratus, Victoria and Lita practically ruled supreme. Others claim that the Divas are being misused, most notably Gail Kim. Being a dominant Diva is a lot of work, especially these days with the diminishing popularity of the Divas division as a whole. Long gone are the days where being a Diva meant you killed it ...
In a sigh of relief, Triple H returned to the ring last night at Saturday's Fan Appreciation Supershow in Hartford, Connecticut. Alberto Del Rio announced his match with Rey Mysterio. Shortly after entering the ring, Del Rio informed the crowd that Mysterio wasn't at the event. He later stated he would win by forfeit. Before the ref raised Del Rio's hand in victory, the crowd exploded as the familiar Motorhead tune struck through the arena. Dressed in a t-shirt and jeans, Triple H entered the ring, seemingly taking Rey's spot in the match. Del Rio quickly explained to HHH that he would ...
Over the past few weeks, I've read multiple comments from the Creatures of the Dead. Most of them have been about the B/R wrestling section. Some have declared that it's going downhill, and fast. The wrestling section is at its best. Excluding the hundreds of slideshows about the upcoming PPV, I don't believe we have reached our peak.To end all the talk of us "dying," I've decided to come up with a concept to get all of the Bleachers involved: ranking the best Champions of the 21st Century. It's very simple. I will list multiple wrestlers based on reigns, length and title ...

Squared Circle: Favorite 5 Kane Matches

Posted by Max Wake On October - 31 - 2010
Through hellfire and brimstone, it's Kane!Since it is the 31st of October, I think Squared Circle should do something remotely Halloween-related.Being that professional wrestling does not lend itself well to the subject when compared to other mediums of entertainment it was always going to be pretty limited (e.g. Kane or The Undertaker).Kane is one of those wrestlers who is not particularly fantastic. I am one of those who believes every Kane match is the same. The man has not varied his attack much in the past 13 years as the character, and thus actually makes it easier to pick out ...

WWE News: Chris Jericho’s Return and Val Venis Re-Signs With WWE

Posted by George Rader On October - 31 - 2010
Breaking news from the WWE. The first piece of news is about Chris Jericho and his WWE return. If Chris Jericho was to return, it would happen during the holiday season, because he is touring with Fozzy in February and March. A WrestleMania return is possible as well. None of this is definite, but this is the plan as of now. Also, according to some indy promoters, the WWE recently re-signed Val Venis. Not quite sure what role he'll play, but some believe he may be coming in as an agent/producer. The WWE is reportedly flying him to Europe on November ...
