His career has spanned over twenty years in the WWE. He's put on some of the greatest matches we've ever feasted our eyes on. His career is as crucial to the WWE as the Yankee hat is to Jay-Z. And yet to him, he has no future. His future has ended if he doesn't complete what he has been dreaming for these last couple months. End the legendary Wrestlemania streak. Many believe he should be the one to finally end the streak. They feel that he has done enough for the company to recieve this honor. I disagree. Why? Simply for the fact that he ...

John Cena Vs. Batista, Chris Jericho Vs. Edge: Worthwhile Main Events?

Posted by Jason donnelly On February - 28 - 2010
After a crushing six-foot drop at the hands of one of the most destructive forces in professional wrestling, Batista stood in victory claiming his second WWE title and ending the short-lived eighth reign of John Cena in a span of just a few minutes. With the final piece of the Bret Hart-Vince McMahon feud in place the match is set up to main event the 26th anniversary of Wrestlemania. But will it be a good main event? And what of Jericho and Edge? Is Edge in a good enough condition to compete in an event of this kind in such a short ...

Old School NWA: Who Could Have Been WWE Stars Today?

Posted by Rodney Southern On February - 28 - 2010
It took me many years to really grow close to the WWE after years of being an NWA wrestling fan.   Living here in the South we were pretty passionate about our NWA.  It was almost like cheating on your girlfriend when you would watch WWE (WWF) programming, and some of that has followed me to adulthood. Fortunately, I have fully overcome all of those silly childhood notions and become a WWE fan.   It did make me wonder, however, about those old NWA stars.  Many of them went on to WWF/WWE glory such as Ric Flair, Tully Blanchard, Arn Anderson, Ricky Steamboat ...
I love Mark Calaway's (aka The Undertaker) entrance. I think it is the best in the history of the WWE. It is a grand spectacle and perfectly indictative of the Undertaker character. But during last week's Elimination Chamber Pay Per View, a stream of fire shot up from the ramp and caused numerous burns on the Calaway's chest.   Calaway quickly deviated from his slow, methodical Undertaker entrance and ran towards the ring. Off camera, the referees gave him several bottles of water to douse himself with throughout the match. Fortunately, he was the last participant to enter the chamber, so he could regain his ...

TNA: Impact React Volume Seven

Posted by Steven Ransiear On February - 27 - 2010
Welcome welcome to the seventh edition of TNA Impact React. Your weekly source for all the news and rumors within TNA Wrestling. This week was sadly not a big one when it comes to news. I imagine as we draw nearer to the Mar. 8 edition of iMPACT , things will heat up. Let's head into this weeks news!   Farewell To The Icon? Sting hasn't been seen since a short cameo on the Jan. 4 live iMPACT . From what I've heard, his name hasn't been mentioned during behind the scenes and creative meetings inside TNA. If he doesn't show up on the ...
“If Ric Flair's wife can beat him up, I know I can!” said Hulk Hogan this week. On March 8 , Ric Flair leaves behind the tremendous send off WWE gave him two years ago at WrestleMania. He will come out of retirement, to join AJ Styles in a match against Hulk Hogan and Abyss. Hogan was doing an interview for 101.1 ESPN , as NoDQ.com reported, and he was referring to an alleged “disagreement” last week between Flair and his wife (TMZ), which led to Flair’s wife being arrested and charged with assault. The jury is still out on whether ...

Career vs. 17-0 Winning Streak as Shawn Michaels and Taker Go to WM26

Posted by lee raydean On February - 27 - 2010
Shawn Michaels, Mr. Wrestlemania, the show stopper, has finally gotten his wish to face Undertaker at WM26. It didn't seem likely that he would be in it this year. When at the Slammy awards, Shawn issued Taker a challenge to face him at WM26. Taker denied him the pleasure of fighting him for the belt. Taker has lost since then. Shawn would have to win the Royal Rumble, but he was eliminated near the end. Therefore he didn't make it to EC. Michaels did have opportunities to win a match and get into EC which would've put him into WM26 providing he won ...

Diamond Dallas Page Talks Wrestling, MMA and Yoga

Posted by Fred Richani On February - 27 - 2010
Wrestling fans, remember Diamond Dallas Page? You know, that guy in WCW that was the original People's Champion? The man that invented the Diamond Cutter (known as the RKO today by Randy Orton fans). Well, DDP is back a better than ever—outside the squared circle. The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion is not just and actor and motivational speaker, but a 53-year-old beast of a man that is probably more flexible than most half his age . His secret? YRG Fitness. I'd tell you more about it, but I'll let DDP do the talking, as I had the great pleasure of meeting him at Bill ...

Should WWE Turn Triple H Heel Again?

Posted by Dido On February - 27 - 2010
According to sources, there have been talks about having Triple H become a heel once again in his career. Seems like it was supposed to happen early last year, but plans were stalled due to the most recent DX reunion. Triple H has been a face in the WWE since 2006, and I think it's about time to turn him back into the cerebral assassin that dominated WWE from 2003-2005. He gave birth to Evolution, which developed future WWE stars Batista and Randy Orton. He monopolized WWE when each member held WWE gold. Now that Shawn is embroiled in a feud with Undertaker, it ...
