Braun Strowman continued his run of dominance Monday night on Raw, eliminating Sami Zayn to secure a spot on Raw's Survivor Series roster. WWE showed how Strowman earned the victory:  With the win, Strowman joined Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho and Roman Reigns on Raw's team.  Bo Dallas, R-Truth, Darren Young, Cesaro and Sheamus were among those also involved in the Battle Royal match, with each of them getting eliminated before the Strowman vs. Zayn showdown. Cesaro eliminated his tag team partner, Sheamus, via WWE: Since moving away from Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan of The Wyatt Family because of the brand split, Strowman has run roughshod over everyone in front ...
Brian Kendrick lost the battle but won the war on Raw, falling to TJ Perkins by count-out Monday night and thus retaining the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.Perkins delivered a hurricanrana off the top rope to the ring apron, sending both wrestlers to the outside.WWE shared a replay of the impressive move:ESPN.com's Brian Campbell didn't enjoy watching Perkins' head bang off the apron on his way down:Rather than re-entering the ring, Kendrick stayed outside as the referee finished his 10-count, ensuring he wouldn't lose the cruiserweight title.WWE painted itself into a corner by having Perkins' rematch with Kendrick the day after after ...
Two weeks after stepping foot inside a WWE ring for the first time in more than 12 years, Goldberg appeared on Monday's Halloween edition of Raw in Hartford, Connecticut. In the first segment of the show, Goldberg hit Rusev with a Jackhammer and followed that up with a Spear of Paul Heyman, as WWE shared:  Rusev had previously been critical of Goldberg's return and punched him, per WWE Universe:  After Heyman piled on, Goldberg retaliated in a big way to end the segment looking strong.  The reactions were mixed on how Goldberg looked after such a long layoff from the ring. Kevin Berge of ...

WWE Survivor Series 2016: Full Card Predictions After Hell in a Cell

Posted by Ryan Dilbert On October - 31 - 2016
Enemies who looked to rip each other's throats out at Sunday's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view will have to join forces at WWE Survivor Series 2016. For the first time in years, Survivor Series is set to return to its roots. The Nov. 20 PPV will feature a trio of traditional elimination matches, a feature the event has moved on from since its early days. That transition to Survivor Series' beginnings will pair Kevin Owens with Seth Rollins just weeks after the two collided inside Hell in a Cell. It will mean that Sasha Banks and Charlotte will have to go from beating ...

WWE Superstar Power Rankings Ahead of Oct. 31 Raw

Posted by Erik Beaston On October - 31 - 2016
Hell in a Cell is in the books, and now the eyes of the WWE Universe turn toward Survivor Series on November 20, when Superstars from Raw and SmackDown will battle for brand supremacy. Which man or woman enters the first week of build for that particular event on a wave of momentum? There is Charlotte, fresh off winning her third Raw Women's Championship. There is AJ Styles, the current WWE world champion and the face of SmackDown, who is embroiled in a heated program with Dean Ambrose, another Superstar who is looking to make a splash in this week's power rankings. Do ...
Rusev splintered a Kendo stick across Roman Reigns' chest, smashed him into the cage wall until he bloodied his bicep and stretched a steel chain across his foe's maw at WWE Hell in a Cell 2016. That kind of violence shouldn't have felt as underwhelming as it did, but the Hell in a Cell match format has become too commonplace, too tied up in the date on the calendar rather than the trajectory of a rivalry. It's hard to blame the Boston fans for not treating Reigns and Rusev's journey into Hell in a Cell on Sunday's pay-per-view like a momentous occasion. It was ...
Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens took their rivalry to another level on Sunday night inside Hell in a Cell in what was arguably the match of the entire WWE Hell in a Cell 2016 pay-per-view. The failure of WWE to have Triple H address why he handed Owens the Universal Championship earlier this year has created a strange feel to this feud from the start. But gradually, Owens and Rollins are making the action all about them instead of Chris Jericho and The Game. And in many ways, it's fairly easy to predict what is next for the duo as Nov. 20's Survivor ...

WWE Raw: Potential Spoilers, Rumors, News and Preview for Oct. 31

Posted by Ryan Dilbert On October - 31 - 2016
After several warriors ventured into hell, things promise to get a lot less serious on the Halloween edition of WWE Raw. Monday's show is bound to feature Superstars in costumes and holiday silliness. In between all of that, though, Raw will have a full plate as WWE pivots the red brand's focus from Sunday's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view to Survivor Series on Nov. 20. The night is sure to celebrate Raw's new champions, Charlotte and Brian Kendrick. There is unfinished business to attend to concerning Seth Rollins' chase of the Universal Championship and Cesaro and Sheamus' battle with The New Day. Raw's head honchos, Stephanie ...
